It is easy to convert data into powerful, visual insights which really capture the attention of stakeholders. OrgVue is easy to use and the team / customer support is fantastic and a pleasure to work with.

I have used the OrgVue mostly for organisation redesign. The ability to visualise structures and identify key metrics such as spans and layers, in a matter of minutes, whilst being able to delegate different views to users, saves a tremendous amount of time compared to trying to do the same thing using standard tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Orgvue is an incredibly slick platform that enables me to do all of my organisation design, workforce planning, and analytics work in one place. It provides me and my clients with an elegant solution that can be used at enterprise level or for bespoke engagements. There can be a steep learning curve for some of the more advanced solutions within Orgvue. This is predominantly due to requiring a strong understanding of organisational data. However, note, the core platform is v. simple to run with for beginners! I would also add that there is still work to do on the Strategic Workforce Planning element of Orgvue, although this is very much in the roadmap from what I have seen. Since I started using it, I've always had the same experience: it is straightforward, it is intuitive, it provides a user-friendly interface, it has fast calculation power, and it's constantly improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been submitting what I think are opportunities for improvement on a recurrent basis - mainly when downloading to PowerPoint I find limiting the pre-defined formatting (e.g. the ability to maximise space sometimes is not helpful as I would like all downloads font and size) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing really, if I had to be picky, the new layout of the homescreen. I prefer the old layout. However, this does not have an impact on the functionality of the software; it is more something that I need to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OrgVue is fantastic for dealing with hierarchical information, from reviewing the as-is to creating and comparing scenarios. This has always been done offline or in PowerPoint in our company, replicating the same information into an excel flatfile. Modeling reorganizations and comparing these against the baseline has never been easier. Then there's also the Activity analysis that helps us easily capture what is truly done on the ground and enables us to target improvement areas or focus on best practices performed by teams. OrgVue can be a bit daunting to users that are not tech-savvy since it's not too intuitive. This makes it hard for us to roll it out to a broader population, such as BPs. They've been implementing packs recently, so this helps a lot.

The other caution is that working with huge datasets, especially with links, can get laggy or freeze, so saving frequently is a must. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
