It really makes privacy management a living profession. By now the data protection officers can offer hands-on consultancy based on what knowledge is provided in OneTrust. The number of standard templates are growing in a shocking manner. Also new modules appeared, just old ones got a totally new and much better outlook after certain releases. Overall it is a great platform, which helps both beginner and advanced privacy professionals to produce documents that are needed for their work. Beside the rich gallery of templates and processing activities, the support center also contains a lot of useful knowledge on how to learn script type rewriting and analyzing HTML source codes of webpages, that are necessary in case the cookie scripts have to be managed. The cookie banner tool is especially helpful for managing consent preference and notice on our websites. **What do you dislike about OneTrust Privacy Automation?** Since this is a relatively new space OneTrust is still adding new features almost on a weekly basis. Some of these new features conflict with our previous strategy for using the tool. We are often not able to fully utilize the new features until we update previous processes. It seems that OneTrust is so focused one getting new features out that they neglect improving existing tools. The direction of travel is unrelentingly excellent in that it truly seeks to meet the challenges of 21st Century data protection and enables the protection of the rights and freedoms of data subjects to a very high degree. **What do you dislike about OneTrust Privacy Automation?** I only wish the functionality we have now had been available at the start - from an organisational procedure perspective it can be challenging to keep up - nevertheless I would never consider turning down the improvements. With a successful and growing company such as OneTrust there can be a lot of turnover in the support staff meaning the service desk can be slow to understand one's problems. However in the big picture this hasn't stopped us from achieving what we want. **Recommendations to others considering OneTrust Privacy Automation:** Excellent software that has progressed in leaps and bounds in recent years. Users much realise that to truly benefit from the software they must a) have clear, robust and effective data protection policy and procedures in place and b) be prepared to invest a substantial amount of time in setting the software up to meet their own organisations requirements. **What problems is OneTrust Privacy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** Via the software's powerful questionnaire development and management tools we are putting in place robust personal data inventories that offer true insight into the complex data flows of our large public sector organisation. We are identifying and managing data protection risk in particular seeking assurance from our partners and suppliers that they will treat the personal data of our customers and employees in accordance with the law, thereby protecting data subject rights and freedoms. Providing an easily accessible web-based portal by which data subjects can request to exercise their data rights and data protection team employees can identify and collect relevant information, within legal timeframes and assisted by simple and powerful communication tools. OneTrust has helped me lead the transformation of data protection within my organisation; putting it on the cutting edge of data protection within our locality as well as across our sector and serving as a beacon of good practice. ### 30. I might log in one day and all items are in the normal place. I will log in another day and a new update has occurred. Things have moved, been added or removed. The notification of these changes could be better. Additionally, there is quite a bit of work that needs to be performed outside of this platform so if they could get better 'how to' guides on well trodden paths I am sure a lot of their customers would be appreciative. Assigning Project ownership to an individual locks that user's access down immediately. So a Project owner cannot also manage the cookies dashboard.
