Ok, so I’ve done some research on this for my work, and I’ll tell you, remediation effort depends on custom code and dependency depth, and those resist a tidy figure because they&#39;re really an estimate of how much undocumented work is hiding in old systems. The platforms that mislead least are the ones that keep integration and remediation as a separate, visible line rather than blending it into one confident total, so at least you can see which part of the estimate is soft.
