I like using OhMD because most patients have their phones set up to block unknown callers, and many don't even check their voicemail. But everyone texts these days...even the old people! I've only been using OhMD for about 2 months so I'm not sure what all I can do with it. What I use it for is to communicate with patients about scheduling appointments. Broadcasting messages have allowed us to follow-up with patients on a larger scale leading to increased contact and conversion in a practical and efficient manner required to scale our business. It has implemented accountability within staff when managing patient engagement and retention where patients feel they are promptly serviced with the minor inquiries that would normally build up in call-backs and answering service outside of their appointments.The benefit of having an option to text instead of waiting on hold allows my staff to carry on regular in-person operations while clearing the queue constantly.
