Once configured during onboarding, it is truly set & forget - the platform does a great job of proactively taking action to open new accounts & notifying you of potential risk. What do you dislike about Numeral? - I'd love if Numeral had an external reporting API so that we could import expected tax liability in as it's calculated - I'd love to see better reporting on the difference between returns being filed and payments being applied - it is hard for me to know myself whether or not a payment has actually been made yet, or if we should still expect more money to come out. What do you dislike about Numeral? Numeral was notified, multiple times, about problems in my account. They ignored my many emails and ignored the issues. Numeral overpaid taxes in several jurisdictions, including in my home state, where they duplicated an entire years' worth of tax payments. The incorrect filing was brought to their attention but they did absolutely nothing. I am now trying to recover thousands of dollars - with no assistance from Numeral. We keep getting emails every week from them asking us to update our resale certificate, even though we've repeatedly requested that they just charge us tax. Our responses seem to go nowhere, and we keep getting the same emails. It's incredibly frustrating and feels like spam. The platform is horrible, and they are non-responsive. The platform is very user friendly, customer support is not a generic AI bot and has an actual support help system, affordable for growing companies, and something that our company needs to operate each month. The fact that Numeral itself is a simple and intuitive platform, giving us more power to be able to self-operate. Our company needs to file for a lot of state sales taxes and Numeral was the best solution for us to help automate the process by integrating directly into Shopify and file directly with the states.
