At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

What stands out most about Braintrust is how high the quality of talent is on the platform compared to traditional freelance marketplaces. The vetting process is thorough, so we don't have to wade through hundreds of low-quality applications. On top of that, the zero-commission model for talent means candidates are far more engaged and fairly compensated, which directly reflects in the effort and quality they bring to our technical projects.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The candidate pool can feel slightly smaller for highly niche or non-technical roles compared to massive platforms like Upwork. Also, setting up the initial onboarding and matching preferences takes a bit of time, and the UI for tracking invoices can feel slightly clunky at times, though it gets the job done once you're used to it.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust solves the lengthiness and cost overhead of hiring top-tier tech talent for short-to-medium term projects. It eliminates expensive agency markup fees and reduces our time-to-hire from several weeks down to just a few days. By giving us direct access to pre-vetted senior developers and designers, we can scale our engineering team flexibly without compromising on quality or blowing our budget.

  ### 2. A Must-Have for Serious LLM Evals and Experiment Tracking

**Describe the project or task Braintrust helped with:**

LLM applications face a specific challenge traditional software testing cannot address change a prompt, switch a model, or adjust retrieval, and quality may improve or drop in ways that are invisible without systematic measurement. Braintrust solves exactly that problem by giving LLM developers the same regression testing confidence that software developers have had for decades the ability to make a change and know immediately whether it made things better or worse before users experience it.

Teams implementing automated LLM evals in their CI/CD pipelines catch regressions before users do and maintain higher quality standards across deployments transforming evaluation from a bottleneck into an accelerator. For a solo developer shipping AI features to clients, that regression safety net is the difference between confident deployment and hoping the latest prompt change didn't silently break something that was working.

Prompt management specifically solves the version chaos that accumulates on any active LLM project knowing which prompt version is deployed, what changed between versions, and what the measured quality impact of each change was. Without Braintrust that information lives in scattered notes, git comments, and memory. With it, prompt evolution becomes a documented, measurable process rather than an archaeological exercise.

Braintrust is a stronger fit for teams that already feel pain from regressions, ambiguous model changes, or slow release reviews, it is less urgent for small prototypes where a few manual checks are still enough. That honest positioning is actually the most useful thing to understand before evaluating it if you haven't yet felt the pain it solves, you won't get full value from the platform.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

Braintrust is the strongest pick for teams that treat evals as a first-class workflow, not an afterthought. As a solo developer building LLM-powered applications, the moment I started treating evaluation seriously rather than running a few demo prompts and calling it done, Braintrust became the most useful tool in my stack. It fundamentally changes how you think about shipping AI features from "does this feel better?" to "does this actually measure better against a repeatable dataset?"

The product bundles four things that often live in separate tools tracing and observability so you can inspect prompts, responses, and tool calls from production in real time, search across large volumes of logs while tracking latency, cost, and quality. Having those four capabilities under one roof rather than stitched across separate tools is the consolidation that actually changes how you work day to day rather than just looking good on a feature comparison spreadsheet.

Braintrust excels when you need side-by-side comparisons of prompt changes, detailed experiment tracking, and insights that help you understand why outputs changed, not just that they changed. That distinction why, not just what is the one that matters most in practice. Knowing that a prompt change degraded output quality is less useful than understanding which part of the change caused the regression and on which subset of inputs it shows up. Braintrust surfaces that level of insight in a way that manual eval workflows simply cannot. Prompt management and versioning is the other capability I lean on most heavily. Prompt management, systematic evaluation, eval dataset management, and structured experiments with prompt version comparison are genuinely well-integrated changing a prompt, running it against the same dataset, and seeing a side-by-side quality comparison before deploying is the workflow that should exist in every LLM development pipeline and Braintrust makes it accessible without requiring a custom evaluation infrastructure build.

Braintrust maintains a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from 159 reviews on G2, indicating moderately positive reception the platform receives consistent praise for AI-driven capabilities that streamline evaluation workflows. Named customers including Notion, Stripe, Vercel, Dropbox, and Replit skew toward teams shipping AI features at meaningful scale, which gives confidence that the platform holds up in production rather than just in demo environments.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The mixed experience reflects a gap between what Braintrust promises and what it delivers for a solo developer without an established eval culture or existing dataset infrastructure to build on.

The developer experience still depends on team discipline, Braintrust cannot invent high-quality eval cases by itself. The team must curate examples, define metrics, and decide when human review is needed. For a solo developer that means the platform is only as useful as the investment you put into building and maintaining eval datasets and that investment is non-trivial. If you come in expecting Braintrust to tell you whether your LLM application is working, you'll be disappointed. It tells you whether it's working relative to examples you defined, which is a meaningfully different and more demanding starting point.

Where it's less strong is automatic issue discovery from production failure pattern clustering and eval auto-generation from production data are not native. For a solo developer who wants to go from production traffic to actionable eval improvements without manually curating every test case, that gap is real and requires supplementing Braintrust with additional tooling or significant manual effort.

Enterprise is required for RBAC, SSO, SAML, HIPAA BAA, SOC 2, self-hosting, custom retention, export options, and uptime SLA. That enterprise gate is less relevant for a solo developer today but becomes a meaningful concern the moment a client asks about data handling, compliance requirements, or whether their production prompts which often contain sensitive business logic are being stored in a managed cloud environment without contractual data protections. Pricing deserves honest attention. Free tier, Pro from $50 per month, and enterprise custom pricing production buyers should consider dataset volume, team seats, retention, and data sensitivity. Eval datasets often contain real user prompts, expected answers, and business logic, so privacy review matters. For a solo developer the $50 per month Pro tier is manageable, but as dataset volume grows and usage scales the pricing trajectory is not always easy to model upfront.

Verified Braintrust reviews are limited because two unrelated companies share the same name searches surface Braintrust AIR, the recruiting platform, alongside Braintrust Dev. A minor but genuinely frustrating discovery when you're trying to research the tool, half the community discussion and review content you find is about an entirely different company.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I like how Braintrust makes it easier to evaluate and monitor AI applications in one place. Its tracing and evaluation features are especially helpful for understanding model performance, comparing outputs, and spotting issues early, without having to rely entirely on manual testing or digging through logs.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The biggest downside for me is that Braintrust can take a while to understand when you’re first getting started, especially when it comes to setting up evaluations and organizing test cases. Because the platform offers a lot of capabilities, the initial setup can feel a bit complex, particularly if you’re working on a smaller project.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust helps cut down on the manual work involved in testing and evaluating AI applications. It provides a structured way to compare model outputs, track performance over time, and spot issues early, which makes it easier to refine AI workflows and maintain consistent quality.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

Braintrust has made sourcing quality freelance talent much more straightforward, giving access to a large pool of vetted candidates across roles like project management, AI training, and technical positions without going through traditional staffing agencies. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple to filter and browse candidate profiles without a steep learning curve. It doesn't require deep integration with other tools since it works well as a standalone sourcing platform, feeding directly into whatever internal hiring process is used afterward. Performance is fast, with search and filtering returning relevant candidates quickly even across a large talent pool. Pricing and fee structure have offered reasonable ROI compared to traditional staffing agencies, given the quality of candidates sourced. Onboarding required minimal effort since browsing and filtering are intuitive from the first use, and the platform's structure, being talent-owned, seems to attract more serious, higher-caliber candidates compared to some other freelance marketplaces.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The pool of candidates for very niche or specialized roles can be smaller compared to larger, more general freelance platforms, sometimes requiring broader search criteria to find a good match. Integrations with external applicant tracking tools aren't very deep, occasionally requiring manual data transfer. Response times from candidates can vary significantly, which occasionally slows down time-to-hire compared to expectations. Support response times for platform questions were slower than expected, and fee structures and how they apply to hiring versus project-based work took some time to fully understand upfront.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust has sped up sourcing quality freelance and contract talent for various roles, removing a lot of the manual searching and vetting that traditional hiring channels require. This has made it faster to bring in the right skill set for specific projects or roles without the overhead of a full traditional recruitment process.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

What I like best about Braintrust is its structured workflow for evaluating AI models and prompts. It makes it easy to create datasets, run automated evaluations, compare model outputs, and track performance over time. The platform integrates well into existing AI development workflows, helping teams identify regressions early and improve model quality before deployment. I also appreciate its developer-friendly SDKs, experiment tracking, and clear visualization of evaluation results, which make iterative AI development much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

Braintrust has a bit of a learning curve, especially when setting up evaluation pipelines and understanding the best practices for organizing datasets and experiments. Some advanced features require additional configuration, and first-time users may need more onboarding resources. Larger evaluation runs can also take time depending on dataset size and model complexity, but these are relatively minor compared to the overall value the platform provides.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust helps solve the challenge of evaluating and improving AI applications in a consistent, measurable way. Instead of relying on manual testing, it automates model evaluations, tracks performance across prompt and model changes, and quickly identifies regressions. This has improved the reliability of AI-powered features, reduced debugging time, accelerated experimentation, and increased confidence when deploying updates to production.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

What I like most about Braintrust is how easy it is to monitor and evaluate AI applications from a single dashboard. The interface is clean, and the tracing and logging features are well organized, which makes it straightforward to understand application behavior and spot issues during development. Overall, it feels lightweight while still offering the tools I need for observability and debugging.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

What I dislike about Braintrust is that some of the more advanced features can take a bit of time to understand, especially if you’re new to AI observability. I think the onboarding could benefit from a few more guided examples to help you get oriented faster. That said, once you’re familiar with the workflow, the overall experience feels smooth, efficient, and productive.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust helps me identify issues in AI applications by bringing clear tracing, logging, and evaluation tools together in one place. It makes debugging faster and gives better visibility into how the application behaves. As a result, I spend less time investigating errors, which helps speed up development and testing.

  ### 7. Transforms AI Development, But Watch Out For Token Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I really appreciate how Braintrust turns AI unpredictability into repeatable unit tests, which is genuinely impressive. The ability to inspect multi-step agents, trace them through the web interface, and test prompts—while tweaking them alongside Playground—makes debugging feel fast, structured, and easy to follow. I also like the real-time features, and both the UI and overall experience are exceptionally fast and responsive. On top of that, being able to go from a text prompt to a full-stack app running directly in a browser tab in under two minutes—without the hassle of installing Node or dealing with broken package dependencies—is extremely impressive. The live preview side by side with the code, plus the option to export raw React, makes it practical and quick to build.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

I feel like the token system or credit limit can be a bit too harsh and unforgiving. Even when I ask the AI to fix a small layout bug or simply tweak a button, it sometimes rewrites entire files in the background, which burns through our daily free allowance very quickly. As our projects get larger, the AI can also occasionally lose track of the broader context and accidentally break something that was working fine before. On top of that, the learning curve feels a little steep for newcomers, since you need to understand the basic features, packets, algorithms, and how to build agents. That said, it becomes manageable after about a week or so.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braintrust to test, debug, and monitor AI agents, and to add features both before and after release. It’s especially impressive that it can create full-stack apps directly in the browser in under two minutes, with no local installs needed. The live previews and raw React exports make it practical for quick builds and easy iteration.

  ### 8. Streamlined AI Evaluation, Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I mainly use Braintrust to test and evaluate AI outputs, which helps me get a clearer picture of how different prompts and models are performing. What I like most is how much easier it makes the process of testing and improving AI outputs. I appreciate the evaluation and comparison features the most; I can test different versions of a prompt and see results side by side, easily spotting small differences in accuracy and consistency. The logging and tracing are also useful, allowing me to dig into what happened when an output doesn't come back as expected. It's helpful to see the history of my tests, especially when making several changes and wanting to understand which adjustment improved the result. Everything feels more structured with Braintrust, enabling me to quickly spot where a prompt is working well or needs adjustment, rather than relying solely on my judgment.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The initial learning curve with Braintrust is a bit of a challenge. There are quite a few features, and when I first started using it, I wasn't always sure where to go or which evaluation option would be the most useful for what I was trying to test. For example, I spent more time than expected figuring out how to interpret evaluation data and understand which version was performing better. A simple guided explanation or visual summary highlighting key differences would have made the process quicker. It took me a while to get comfortable with how the different evaluation options fit together, and understanding which metrics were most important took some experimentation.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust takes the guesswork out of evaluating AI outputs by providing a structured way to compare results and spot inconsistencies. I can test and evaluate different prompts, which helps improve AI outputs by highlighting where adjustments are needed.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

The platform is easy to use, and the application process is much simpler compared to many traditional job boards. This is Indeed on steroids. One thing I liked about Braintrust is the cost structure. It feels fairer than some other platforms because there are fewer middlemen fees. This helps companies save money and allows freelancers to keep more of their earnings

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The screening process can take time. Not ideal for beginners with limited experience. The platform can be confusing.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust AI is a solid option for experienced professionals looking for remote work and freelance opportunities. While the application process can be competitive, the quality of projects and clients makes it worth considering. We use this to find individuals who can work remotely.

  ### 10. Flexible Work with a Wide Variety of Projects on Brain Trust

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

One of the best things about Brain Trust is the wide variety of opportunities available. People with different skills and levels of experience can find projects that fit their background, which is helpful because it gives professionals more options instead of relying only on traditional job websites. This is especially valuable for those who want more flexibility in where and how they work. Overall, I really appreciate the flexibility, the range of projects, and the platform’s focus on connecting skilled professionals with companies.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

One thing I dislike about Braintrust is that certain parts of the platform can be hard to figure out the first time you use them. It offers a lot of useful features, but it can take time to learn where everything is and how each tool works. A simpler layout and clearer guidance would make the experience much easier for new users. I also think the search and filtering options could be improved, especially when there are a lot of projects or opportunities to sort through.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust also helps teams monitor and improve AI performance. Rather than checking everything manually, they can rely on data and feedback to spot issues sooner. This saves time and makes it easier to pinpoint what needs improvement. It’s especially useful when an AI application is used by many people or has to handle a large volume of information. Braintrust also helps address several challenges that can make data, AI, and development work harder. A common problem is that teams often have to juggle different tools and systems to manage their work, and Braintrust helps bring more of that process together in one place.

  ### 11. Braintrust’s Low-Fee Model and Expanding AI Recruiting & Automation Suite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I don't have personal like or preference but if I were evaluating Braintrust as a platform, the aspect I'd consider strongest is. Braintrust's original differentiator was eliminating the large commission common on traditional staffing platforms, allowing freelancers to retain 100% of their earnings while charging clients a comparatively low platform fee. Braintrust has expanded into AI recruiting, Braintrust AIR workflow automation nexus, and AI training work.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

I don't have personal like or dislike but some potential drawbacks are. It can take time to understand evaluations, experiments, datasets, scores, and tracing. For a small project, adopting a full evaluation framework may feel like more infrastructure than you need. As usage and evaluation volume grow, platform costs can become a factor. Very specialized evaluation workflows may require more work than simpler in-house scripts.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving a core problem by helping companies find and hire high-quality specialized talent faster while giving skilled professionals better access to work without traditional recruiting middlemen. Hiring specialized talent, especially in AI, software design, and other technical areas, can be slow, expensive, and difficult to verify. Freelancers and independent professionals often lose money to agencies and platforms that take significant fees while also struggling to find high-quality opportunities.

I mainly use Braintrust for evaluating and monitoring AI applications. I find it especially helpful for keeping track of quality as we make changes. What I like most is the evaluation and comparison side of it. Being able to run the same test set against different prompts or models and see the results side by side is really useful. It makes it much easier to tell which changes are actually improving the AI instead of just guessing. The initial setup was fairly easy for our team. Getting the basic evaluation running didn't take too long, and once configured, it was pretty straightforward to use. I also appreciate how Braintrust fits naturally into our existing development and testing process.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The main thing I'd improve is the learning curve around setting up more detailed evaluations. Once you understand the workflow it makes sense, but some of the configuration can feel a little overwhelming at first. I'd also like more straightforward reporting and dashboards for quickly seeing trends across multiple evaluations.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braintrust for evaluating AI applications, solving the challenge of measuring AI quality. It helps us test, compare, and catch issues early, making testing manageable and ensuring changes truly improve our AI.

The evaluation and monitoring features help us quickly identify issues and track performance over time, enhancing our workflow efficiency. The initial setup was relatively easy and straightforward, and the documentation was helpful, allowing us to integrate it into our workflow with minimal difficulty.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

Braintrust could be improved with a simpler interface, more flexible customization options, and easier integrations with other tools. More detailed documentation and reporting features would also be helpful. A simpler interface would make it easier for the team to navigate and set up evaluations, while more flexible customization would let us tailor dashboards and testing to our specific needs. **What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I like that Braintrust makes evaluating applications much more systematic. Instead of manually checking a few responses and guessing whether a model has improved, I can compare results and see if the model is performing well or needs more work. The evaluation tools are probably the most important in our workflow because they allow us to test AI tools against specific criteria, rather than relying only on manual reviews. This helps us understand if model changes actually improve overall quality. I also find experiments useful for testing different prompts, models, or changes in the AI workflow. They let us compare results and see which performs better. The initial setup was not particularly difficult, and the documentation helped us understand the main concepts and configuration options.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

Things about Braintrust that don't work well for me and could be improved include the learning curve when using it for the first time, as there are quite a few concepts and features to understand, which can take time. I also find some parts of the interface could be a little more straightforward. When dealing with a large number of evaluations and experiments, it can sometimes take time to find exactly what I'm looking for. I think a simpler way of organizing and filtering would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braintrust to solve the difficulty of reliability testing AI applications as they evolve. It makes evaluating applications systematic, not manual, by testing AI against specific criteria, improving assessment of AI outputs.

  ### 15. Braintrust Makes LLM Evaluation and Debugging Effortless With Clean Traces and Integrations

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

What I like about braintrust the most is that it saves me from being embarrassed in front of my demo of the feature I have been preparing in front of my stakeholders. When I am developing my feature using LLM workflows, it helps me evaluate and debug instead of checking output manually every time I change my prompt. The UI/UX is clean, especially when looking over traces and comparing experiment results. Integrations are a stronger point which I should definitely mention because other tools I reviewed before braintrust, it was hectic for my custom software. The AI / Intelligence side is probably the most valuable for me, as mentioned before it's a godsend thing, because we can't be trustworthy until it's evaluated by braintrust. Performance of braintrust's system is exceptional because it's able to trace individual calls and identify the bugs.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

What we disliked was the pricing after the trial. Braintrust was useful for tracing and evaluation, but we didn’t move it into production because we didn’t have enough trust in the brand.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned before, we created a workflow for our product where LLMs and other AI models are used to determine the response and output. A lot of the time it would hallucinate, and when we specifically switched the model while keeping the same prompt, it would still misbehave. Brain Trust helped us trace the entire flow, identify the bugs, and fix them.

  ### 17. A User-Governed Talent Network with Transparent Pay and High-Quality Matches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I like that Braintrust operates as a user-governed talent network where professionals keep 100% of their rate—there are no middleman fees taken from workers, only clients pay the platform fee. The vetting process is rigorous, which means the projects and clients tend to be high-quality and well-matched to senior-level talent. The transparent compensation model and strong professional community make it feel more like a curated network than a typical gig marketplace.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The pricing structure has a big jump from the free Starter tier straight to $249/month for Pro, with no mid-tier option for growing teams—this makes it expensive for small teams or solo builders who need more than the free limits. The free tier also has only 14-day data retention, which isn't long enough for meaningful regression tracking or audit trails in production. On the evaluation side, there's only one human review scorer allowed per project, which limits multi-scorer workflows that larger teams often need. Finally, enterprise pricing is only available after a sales call with annual invoicing, which makes it harder to evaluate ROI and get internal approval before committing.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braintrust solves the problem of making AI applications measurable and reliable in production by providing end-to-end observability and evaluation. It captures full traces of multi-step LLM workflows—including model calls, tool invocations, retrieval, and decision logic—so you can see exactly where failures or quality regressions occur. The platform enables both online evals (scoring live production traffic) and offline evals (testing against curated datasets in CI), which lets teams catch issues before deployment and continuously monitor quality afterward. This systematic approach to tracing, scoring, and regression testing makes it faster to iterate on prompts and agents, reduces the risk of shipping broken changes, and gives clear data to justify improvements to stakeholders.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

I really enjoyed how seamlessly Braintrust combines evaluation tools with observability, making it incredibly easy to track LLM performances in real-time. The integration with existing CI/CD pipelines helped catch regressions early, which was a huge plus for our team. Observability lets me see exactly how the LLM performs with real user inputs in production, and testing new prompts against actual edge cases caught in production allows me to update models or tweak system instructions without the fear of breaking existing functionality. The initial setup was incredibly fast and straightforward; we just had to install the SDK, wrap our existing LLM calls, and drop in an API key, which allowed us to start logging traces and running evaluations almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

The platform is heavily engineering-focused, meaning that setting up deeper CI/CD integrations still requires a fair amount of manual scripting. I also wish there were more granular customization options for the evidence reports we share with non-technical stakeholders. While the core setup is straightforward, integrating Braintrust deeply into our existing CI/CD pipelines required more manual scripting than expected. I would love to see more out-of-the-box integrations to make automated deployment triggers easier to configure.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braintrust to centralize AI output evaluation, making it easier to maintain consistent quality. It simplifies experiment tracking and prompt comparison, allowing us to iterate faster and make improvements based on data.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

What I like most about Braintrust is that it makes testing and evaluating AI outputs pretty straightforward. I can quickly see what’s working and what needs improvement without spending too much time digging through everything.

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

It can take a little time to get used to, especially when you’re setting up evaluations for the first time. Some parts feel less straightforward than they could be, but once you get the hang of it, it works well.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me test AI outputs and figure out when something isn’t working as expected. I can compare results and catch issues earlier, which makes it easier to improve the application without doing everything manually.

**What do you like best about Braintrust?**

The trace UI, evaluation workflow, playground, and the ability to compare model behavior before shipping a change

**What do you dislike about Braintrust?**

It's reactive, not preventive
It scores output quality after the fact, it doesn't stop a bad answer from reaching a user in real time. If you need runtime guardrails, you have to pair it with a separate tool.

**What problems is Braintrust solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LLM output quality is hard to measure and easy to break silently
Traditional software has deterministic tests. AI outputs are probabilistic, change a prompt, swap a model, or tweak retrieval, and quality can improve or quietly regress with no clear signal. Braintrust exists to make that visible.
