## About NovoGov
NovoGov is a local government operations management software solution that helps cities, counties, towns, and utilities manage assets, work orders, inspections, citizen requests, and code enforcement from a single configurable system. It is built on Novo Solutions&#39; ShareNet cloud platform and is used across departments including public works, highways, utilities, and community development. NovoGov is designed for small and mid-size municipalities that are moving operations off paper, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. Staff configure their own forms, fields, record lists, and reports without programming, so the system maps to each department&#39;s existing workflow. The platform is web-based and includes a mobile app, allowing field crews to receive work, update jobs, capture photos, and close requests from a phone or tablet. Residents submit and track service requests around the clock through a branded web and mobile portal, with automated email and SMS status updates. Common use cases and capabilities include: Asset and work order management: track roads, signs, stormwater, water and wastewater, fleet, facilities, parks, and solid waste assets, with full maintenance histories and meter-, mileage-, or time-based preventive maintenance scheduling. Citizen request management: a public portal where residents report issues with photos and geolocation, and staff auto-route, prioritize, and respond. Code enforcement and community development: manage violations, inspections, and activities, auto-generate violation letters, and handle permitting and licensing. Cost tracking: capture labor, parts, and material costs against work orders for budgeting, FEMA, and grant reporting. GIS mapping: view assets and work orders on built-in maps and integrate with Esri ArcGIS layers. Novo Solutions, the company behind NovoGov, was founded in 1999 and is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. NovoGov is delivered as a cloud-based subscription and serves local government organizations across the United States.

**What do you like best about NovoGov?**

I like how easy and user-friendly the platform is, I love the chat option the best/ quick/ easy and the customers love how quick the response time is.. I  have not had any issues

**What do you dislike about NovoGov?**

Nothing I am happy with how easy it is to use.I wish the answers were shorter for the text quota for things I do not like as most times there are no bugs that bother me

**Recommendations to others considering NovoGov:**

The customers love it,  people who are not computer savvy are  able  chat no problem

**What problems is NovoGov solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform makes it easy to fix our customer's problems that chat in/ I love how easy the platform is to work/ how fast we can get a response to a customer not only easy for me but also for the customers to operate, the older customers and not so computer friendly find it super easy to use

User-friendliness simplicity easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about NovoGov?**

The system slow issue recognition can be improved to assist resolve issues quicker. The auto systems can be annoying.

Quicker direction of enquiries.

**What do you like best about NovoGov?**

I enjoy the aspects of this software that allow us to easily manage and function and continue to deliver excellent customer service.

**What do you dislike about NovoGov?**

The things that I might dislike with this software is that it can sometimes have a few bugs or glitches and crash unexpectedly. But they always work to resolve any issues that arise.

**What problems is NovoGov solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are continuing to solve any problem that we may have as any customer service representative may come across at some point just by actively improving customer interactions.

It is perfect to centralize all kind of customer requirements such as delivery error complaints or service error complaint

**What do you dislike about NovoGov?**

It could be hard to use at the beginning, but it definitely with practice becomes easy

**What problems is NovoGov solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to handle complaints and requirements in one all in platform

**What do you like best about NovoGov?**

Very easy to use to coordinate what I need from it. Being able to have what I need at my fingertips make my job easier when needing to work with customers.

**What do you dislike about NovoGov?**

Least helpful is when I am not able to access when it is down or glitching.  Not always just sometimes. Could be our network though

**Recommendations to others considering NovoGov:**

Use the program as it is designed to be used and it will work for your business.

**What problems is NovoGov solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see the customers information without having to go find a hard copy. Being able to make notes where needed.

There isn't anything I don't like. I've looked but can't.

It's easy to use. Customer service is very helpful if needed.
