The Noodl team have created a wide range of codeless nodes that you can use to build simple apps, but every single one of them you can learn the code behind and build yourself if you need to. This eliminates the typical reliance you get with other no-code / low-code tools, where if a module doesn't work there's nothing you can do about it. Then of course there's the fact that you can self-host the front and back end, which is built on open source technology (MongoDB and Parse). This makes Noodl a solution for MVPs as much as serious scalable applications. **What do you dislike about Noodl?** As this is a tool that has only recently begun receiving traction, the community and ecosystem is currently limited. There aren't the wealth of templates and plugins that you get with other mainstream no-code tools. It also means tutorials and learning materials are scarce for the moment. **What problems is Noodl solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to provide my client's with an MVP builder that can also handle scaling up to any level, as well as offering self-hosting. Being able to offer my clients an app built on open source technologies that free them from vendor lock-in and make it possible to convince investors to value the end product. ### 2. Connecting nodes and figuring out how they function is amazingly simple. The flexibility of the system is like nothing I've ever seen before and usage of reusable components that can also be data-agnostic means you can string together an app or website and scale it extremely easily. While the community and dev team and is small, they're very eager to help and support. **What do you dislike about Noodl?** The learning curve is steeeeep. It takes a lot more than other platforms to learn how to get started and documentation can be a little bit lacking. Additionally, it is actually LOW code (and not NO code), which means you do have to write JavaScript to get a number of things done. HOWEVER!! The integrated use of ChatGPT actually manages to help people with no Javascript knowledge, write the code successfully. All of the above is definitely worth the end result though. **What problems is Noodl solving and how is that benefiting you?** Components developed are extremely powerful. Once built, they can be reused again and again, resulting in a consisent design, smaller code base and enhanced security and features. Plus, the entire platform is OPEN SOURCE, exports code to React and can be hosted on noodl servers or your own. I can't think of any alternative that does what Noodl does better. ### 3. The fact that you can manage server logic directly on Noodl is gret and you can self-host it on AWS or Google and that opens a lot of possibilities to have more flexibility and power compared to any other nocode or lowcode tool.
