# Is a dedicated connected worker platform worth it for a manufacturer with under 500 employees?

These four draw meaningful small-business and mid-market usage, so they are a fair place to judge that. Ratings are included.</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/maintainx/reviews"><strong>MaintainX</strong></a> (4.8 stars, 1,538 reviews) has a large small-business and mid-market base, and reviewers value the ease of use and quick standardization of maintenance without a heavy lift; bulk edits get harder as you scale up.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/andonix/reviews"><strong>Andonix</strong></a> (4.8 stars, 52 reviews) draws mid-market manufacturers who like real-time boards and AI-written work instructions that engage operators; a short learning curve and occasional slow onboarding responses are the tradeoffs.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/factbird/reviews"><strong>Factbird</strong></a> (4.6 stars, 63 reviews) suits smaller plants well, with reviewers citing quick install, sensor-based pricing that avoids per-user costs, and little IT needed; the camera-training routine is still maturing.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/dozuki/reviews"><strong>Dozuki</strong></a> (4.4 stars, 209 reviews) gives smaller teams a straightforward way to capture standard work and escape tribal knowledge, with reviewers noting steady product improvement; historically reporting was the weak spot.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For the smaller manufacturers here: did a dedicated platform pay for itself under 500 employees, or would a simpler tool have done the job? A dedicated platform tends to pay off when one of those is a recurring, measurable pain, and feels like overkill when the need is occasional. Pricing model matters at this size too, since sensor-based or flat pricing scales very differently from per-user once a small plant grows.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
