NetSense NMS gives us much better visibility into the last-mile network, especially OLTs, PON ports, and customer-side devices. In large FTTx deployments it is usually difficult to quickly identify whether an issue is in the core, aggregation, or access network. NetSense helps narrow this down very quickly.
We particularly value the monitoring and alerting around OLTs and PON ports, including cases like partial PON outages or degradation that would otherwise take much longer to diagnose. The platform is multi-vendor and combines monitoring with management capabilities, which is useful when operating equipment from different vendors.
Another big advantage is the operational visibility it provides to our NOC team. Instead of manually checking multiple systems, the team can quickly see where problems are happening and reduce the time to diagnose and resolve customer-impacting issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NetSense is still evolving and some features are continuously being improved as the product matures. Certain integrations with existing OSS/BSS workflows require customization, and some advanced analytics features are still being expanded.
