**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

I like the customer support of MyStudio. I use it for registration and payments, which makes things easier with less paperwork since everything is in the database. I can always go back and find the email or phone number of my students, or check how long they will be with me.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

Setting up the membership and I didn't understand how to use the membership

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MyStudio to manage students and payments. It helps me keep track of who has joined, their payment status, and how long they've been with me, reducing paperwork and centralizing information.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

We were sold a dream and left in the dark with MyStudio. They have caused nothing but issues for us and now we can't even migrate to another software because their team can't properly get the Stripe token transferred to the account given. I'm on the phone or chat with their support for hours every day and every time I'm promised a follow up, there is none. They charged us $200 a month from April 2024 to February 2025 for a branded app that we never received despite us completing every task on our end. We are now dealing with massive delays in our business because of MyStudio. There are payments being charged incorrectly and they disconnected our Stripe account so we don't even know where the money is going to. 

DO NOT SIGN UP. There are so many better options. They also upcharge for every little thing.

Nothing is good about this software. It is complicated to navigate, they never launched our branded app despite taking payments from April 2024 to February 2025

MyStudio has created more problems than it has solved. It has caused many issues in our business and we are extremely unhappy.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

MyStudio has been a massive help. It's incredibly intuitive to use, the customer service is top-notch. I also love that they have a mobile app, it makes my life so much easier. There's tons of customization and automation features. Overall I would say my favorite thing is the mobile app.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

I think the pricing could be sorted a little bit better. If they can lower their prices by about 5-10% I would say MyStudio is number 1 in this field.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes everything an all in one solution. It's like a one stop shop for everything. Again my only grip which is not big would be the pricing and the overall structure of it.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

Great software. It combines my billing, attendance, emails, texts, and program information into one package. Up until now I was using 4 different prgrams to do all of it. The customer service is outstanding. I look forward to getting into some of the things it can do that I haven't tried yet.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

There are a few functions I would like to see added. Nothing major but they would be helpful. That being said they appear to be open to suggestions and implementing customer requests.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that it combines multiple programs into one. However, the MAJOR issue it solves is email communication with my students. GMAIL, Yahoo, etc, put in place anti-spam measures that make it a pain to send group emails out to my customers. Up until making the switch if I wanted to send a group email out to students I would have to send it out individually or it would get kicked back. Now I just send one to the entire list and it’s done. A great time saver.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

It VERY beneficiail to manage my Taekwondo Studio Billing and Events all in one place, that works right into my website as well.  My parentst love the APP to register for the events such as Testing and Camps. And the ablity to purchase merchandise from the app.  And Register for classes.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

The only thing it doesn't do for me is update my testing sheets as we use a different format for our Testing Process.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing solution for me was the main goal, but it does way more than just billing.

I am happy with the MyStudio performance from the business perspective that for sure.  But what makes things so much easier is solid customer support.  My rep Jennifer Hernandez is outstanding.  We still have a call every two weeks just to sharpen the knife even more.  Thank you MyStudio

Be prepared with your data transfer.  The more information you can provide in the very beginning will make things alot easier.

MyStudio is bringing all my management issues into one location.  Over the last few months, I have become alot for familier with the product.  Its full potential is just beginning to be seen!

I love that I have a customized app for my school, the abilty to mass email/text members, automations for trials/members - I love it all!

I wish they would hurry and add the Quickbooks integration!

Members can enroll themselves for events, testings, programs, etc.  It saves me a lot of time!

Mystudio has been so helpful ever since we decided to use it. Especially, managing trials and memberships have been so much easier such as enrolling memberships, following trials with automation emails and text. over 90% our membership has been through customers' phone using MyStudio App. No more Paper!!!

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

MyStudio has been great most time. MySutio has lots tools to customize what you need for your business. I feel like I use 10% of what MyStudio offers...

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mystudio has been helpful to communicate to customers in different ways like email/message/text. I remembered to use different apps and programs to communicate with customers because the system we used to use was not allowing us to do in different ways to reach out to customers. You can use just MyStudio to communicate with customers without using other things.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

We love how MyStudio consolidated so many services we paid for into one strong platform. It handles billing, communications, rank tracking, curriculum milestones, automation, lead gathering, and more!

Our customer base has received the member app excitedly, and it has positively impacted and streamlined how we do business. At this point, the member app is a critical and fundamental aspect of our members' experience that we could not go without.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

For us, the downside to using MyStudo is slow fixes and updates. While they have implemented a new suggestion area, the suggestions are overflowing, and only a couple of ideas are implemented each month. I suspect this will improve over time, but currently, in May of 2023, things move slowly.

When we come across simple display bugs or little issues, it takes 2-3 months to get them resolved. This is mostly annoying more than anything.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, MyStudio is a one-stop shop for all our business needs.

It integrates a member-facing app with our back end management. It allows customers to make retail purchases, view and manage their account (except cancel their membership, which is good), message and commuicate with us, book classes, view curriculum, and so much more.

MyStudio has an app for administrators that we use and love. It gives us 100% access to the tools and information that we previously could only access from a desktop with our previous software. We love that we take our business tools with us wherever we are.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

We love the ability to do everything ourselves - add photos, events, retail, etc. It's very simple and intuitive to figure out. When a payment fails, it sends an automatic email to the customer to update, rather than us having to follow up. This has saved us a lot of time and money.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

We've had some technical issues where MyStudio doesn't save information correctly - when we update inventory, when we try to schedule emails or set up automation. It can also be confusing to update someone's banking information in certain scenarios.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fixed problems such as multiple emails being sent to the same member/family, allowing people to register for multiple things at one time, adding updates for belt ranks, etc.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

Nothing stands out as "the best". It's fine.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

• need a single customer page with all info visible on one page without having to click multiple links (contact info, address, DOB, rank, membership info, etc.)
• need to be able to customize what info we see on that page (i.e., I need to see our student's organization ID # on the same page with everything else)
• staff POS needs to be able to access existing customer's info for new sales -- currently only admin POS can use that feature, which means customers have to re-input ALL of their personal info for EVERY SALE
• allow the same primary customer to add new participants from POS without the "this phone number is already in use" pop-up; this forces us to have to exit the POS and create new memberships from inside the MyStudio interface, which creates an entirely new set of logistical problems
• allow the same MyStudio account to be logged into multiple devices at the same time
• administrators need access to customer's FULL credit card numbers (not just last 4) for billing and collection purposes (I cannot emphasize this one enough!!!)
• need to be able to disable use of old credit cards without deleting them (they don't need to be an option at the POS check out)
• POS needs to allow combining events and retail purchases into one purchase
• app constantly crashes/kicks customers out and forces them to log back in

Membership management  -- we can customize and manage memberships
POS -- online system is user-friendly

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

It is organized and parents can see what is available on their student.  Also, I like the app.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

no group specific emails.  If I click on some students and scroll down to click on more the first students are unclicked.  So I have to send many emails to get a hold of specific programed students.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know.  I enjoyed our previous program so much more.  I could address specific groups in emails,  had an easier time upgrading memberships, had an easier time promoting students.  Now I have to go through other people to do the same thing or use another program.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

What I like most about mystudio is the smooth online integration and conversion of leads to customers. Having the ability to communicate with customers is also a valuable ability. Customer service is also very quick to respond!

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

I would like some additional options for payments for example, EFT, cheque, etc. Some more customizable options would also be beneficial, for example manually adjusting payment at checkout.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of students and being able to effectively communicate with cutomers. Being able to send students a link/app to sign-up has cut our office work in half!

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

I find the one stop shop that MyStudio is has been the biggest part of helping turn the corner on our business.  It has made sign up, events, payments, and communication so easy.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

I don't like that the system logs you out after 10 minutes.  I would like the ability to set up my own time.  It still lets me log in quick but sometimes I take a call and it logs me out while I am on the phone.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They continue to update the system to make it faster, and easier to use all the time.  The way that you can have someone log in the first time and move along the program is awesome.

The customer service is fantastic, they have a lot of resources available to help youlearn the software, and it's overall a simple and straightforward program to use, especially compared to other products.

There is so much to learn! There are so many features and cool shortcuts to help you run the business better, but it takes time to learn it all.

It is helping us keep track of our numbers a lot more efficiently, which makes the bookkeeping easier.

Having everything on one platform helps me better track information to make adjustments and continue to maintain and grow my business.

It would be helpful to clean up some of the processes on the administrative side.  It's not alway easy to work with on my end.

Tracking sales and memberships, allowing for a user app and keeping student records are some of the most helpful features.

Accurate data reporting, real time stats, full customizable memberships, and the ability to register students from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

Sometimes the financial reporting is confusing. When you forecast income, it includes processing fees, which is not actual income.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It puts the sign-up process on rails so there's no deviating from my prescribed membership options, pricing, discount options, etc. On top of that it gives real-time access to your KPI's.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

I love how simple the software is and the ease of adding classes, memberships and gear. It has been a lifesaver and a time saver. I no longer have to be at the dojo for people to purchase memberships or events. They can do everything from the comfort of their home or on lunch breaks at work.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

There hasn't been much that I don't like. Any time there was something I couldn't find, I sent off a suggestion, and soon enough, new updates with the things I need are included. They listen very well to their customers.

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to be in the dojo outside regular business hours when we have a big sale. Everything can be purchased online through the app or web link. It has been fantastic to wake up to camps and events sold through the app.  It is easy to take to big markets and events and have a tablet set up at our booth for information, and people can quickly sign up for trials.

I like that MyStudio is easy to use. I can manage it similarly how I use my Apple products. It is easy to learn to use and easy to connect to my social media and website.

I want to be able to customize the look more.

Communication. Tuition collection. Proshop. Belt Testings. Keep a lot of my administrative work under one site.

Has a lot to offer for our martial arts program and organizing payments. Monthly payment, flexible membership setup.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

It would be VERY helpful to combine all the financial set up tools available in the Membership, Event, and Program menus to have maximum flexibility when setting ways to charge for what we offer.
Putting all related members/family in an easier-to-use format.

Billing keeps getting better. Easier ways to manage members keep evolving

Being able to have an app that a customer can download is huge. Not only is it convenient for the customer but it also gives your enhances the perception of your business.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

They are minor, such as not being able to send someone an invoice.

CRM, web-presence, and sales funnel all rolled into one.

**What do you like best about MyStudio?**

There are a lot of things you can do on it, such as track attendance, have your retail (purchases can be from home too), keep members & billing in one spot, and send out news alerts. This takes Team App and adds so much more value to it. The parents can add themselves via code (which you get to make your own), and have it accessed on their phones.

**What do you dislike about MyStudio?**

Since the website is still new, many bugs/new features are being worked out, but are coming soon. There can only be one main admin account, and that account can only be accessed on a desktop. You cannot be added as an admin member on a phone, so there are things that need to be changed like that. You can only edit things if you are on a laptop or computer. 

**What problems is MyStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first, we had a lot of questions about transitioning over, but they are super helpful. They have done a few video chats with our team to walk us through the questions we had. We had to hand put in our people and their card info, along with all of the merchandise we are selling. This way, parents can purchase things at home (which is a lot easier). They have templates for messages or sign up sheets that could be sent out, since most of the people that use My Studio are martial arts school owners.
