# What's the top Compensation Management solution for reducing manual work and improving team collaboration effectiveness?

I've been researching what's the top Compensation Management solution for reducing manual work and improving team collaboration effectiveness, since compensation cycles tend to involve a lot of back-and-forth between HR, finance, and managers that spreadsheets handle poorly. Payscale Ascent, Salary.com, and HiBob HRIS come up most for this.

I’d look at where approvals still leave the system. If managers, HR, and finance are still reconciling exceptions in email or spreadsheets, that’s usually where the manual work creeps back into the compensation cycle.
