**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie Joy R. | Salesforce Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I am currently working as a consultant/ developer aiming to provide our clients with an easy-to-use Timesheet Solution on top of their Project Management process. What I like most about Mission Control while in the discovery phase is the splendid customer support. You can reach out to the team and you will get your answer from an expert. This was highly appreciated as it enabled me to complete tailoring the solution for the client's needs in a timely manner. I also appreciate that when raising a gap with some of the features, e.g. ability to hide some of the buttons, Aprika is very responsive and will kindly inform you that it will be in the roadmap for future enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

It's not a dislike per se but a minor inconvenience given our framework revolves mostly around permission sets and not profiles. For now, timesheet-related projects are automatically given CRUD access to profiles when the business is only giving granular permissions to their users via Permission Sets. It was a bit tedious work to disable 50+ objects for each profile. Despite this, and the ever-changing Salesforce platform, with new releases coming after another, I expect and believe that Aprika will be able to keep up to date with the latest Salesforce standards.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timesheeting and Project Management.

 ### 10. Good product

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

User friendliness, ease of use, smooth integration, customer support

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing in particular to mention on the product

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To complement on cost calculation process

 ### 11. Been using for about a year, very pleased.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Vice President of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

A broad range of project management features built in the Salesforce ecosystem so connected with our main line of business application. Compared with competitors was a great value purchase. The support team has been excellent to work with when needed.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The ability to handle prepaid T&M projects for service projects. We'd look to have the retainer billing functionality be able to bill for a milestone but then recognize revenue as hours are worked against the project budget hours, reducing the prepaid retainer balance. Then for support projects, the ability to set up an Action to not bill for a certain amount of hours and, if exceeded, would bill at a given rate.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to effectively track the delivery of service and support solutions to our clients. Ease of use with reporting capabilities.

 ### 12. Great App that Requires Minimal Salesforce Admin Resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

From a Salesforce Admin perspective, this robust tool is so easy to set up and pass the build to key stakeholders! Download, give access to power users, then your job is done until the need for Flows for automations come through.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing to report on just yet, a bit pricey when you get the verson that allows customers to edit fields, but price matches the app's power and usefulness.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management for prospects when working to integrate them into clients.

 ### 13. Makes life easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradeep H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I like all the features provided by Mission control because it makes my life easy to keep track of all changes of project and resource management.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

UI -> especially inner scrollbars which makes to have a look at a time to have a overview better.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All manual process, reporting and navigating to multiple tabs to gather data

 ### 14. Great experience with the app and customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nevena T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Ability to modify app to fit our needs and great customer service.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some limitations and fields that don't apply to the way construction companies do business in the US. It would be nice to have a different template for different companies.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project / construction management.

 ### 15. Project management and compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simonetta C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Embedded capability to produce organization processes compliant with public administration laws and voluntary system certifications

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Graphic interfaces are not always the best

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Step-by-step control of projects and relevant documents. Information sharing inside the organization. Control of our processes

 ### 16. Best Project Management Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hilda G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Having the ability to log actual time on all aspects of a project. Enjoying milestones features, able to store all documents related to a project and create a share-out report to provide status & updates.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Still so much more to learn, but I have no complaints.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing actual and historical data that we have not been able to capture before when working on any small or big project.

 ### 17. Mission Control was a perfect fit for our company and our users and management love it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The architecture looks just like Salesforce Lightning UI and the users love the product.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Sometimes we have an issue adding the "Projects" tab to the User's Navigation Bar.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a single source of truth for our projects and better visibility of our project's data.

 ### 18. Great Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vilma B. | Project Manager and Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Reporting of the PRojects, SPI, CPI, hours completed linked with the time logs of the resources is accurate and factual time information. I love the Billing feature, so many things you can do to keep your project up to date from all angles.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I haven't found a way to create a Change Request that affects Quality and Time in the project; all Change Request management is related to Cost but not to Scope or Time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

This Tools is super Complete but precisely there is so much you can do but you have to really go deep and there is no help that uses all the levels of complexity to get the best from it, videos available are too basic, so in order to get the best from MC you have to do your own research

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management all in one tool. I don-t need to use any other tool to do my PM activities, is ALL there.

 ### 19. Project planning is at the core of what we do

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John D. | Director & Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Love the way we can organise a project and monitor it as time goes by. However, the real killer feature is the time logging. At every step of the way we know how long we have spent with each client, doing what. This allows us to submit detailed reports to our clients, which helps build a trusting relationship with them. It is also so intuitive that we do not lose billable hours.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is not much to put in here! When we have found minor niggles, Colin and the team have listened to our needs and put in place changes. It really is a good product under a cycle of continuous improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

If you have a project planning need, and you use Salesforce, then this should be at the top of your list of products to consider.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cutting down projects into manageable chunks.
Allocating those projects to different members of the team.
Monitoring the time used by each part of the project... which helps us produce more accurate estimates on future proposals.
Tracking how much time each team member has contributed to each part of the project.
We also automatically trigger creation of new actions when a client submits a case, so that we can accurately track how much time the resolution took.

 ### 20. Mission control has been a great tool that allows our team to perform efficiently in our engagements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick F. | Consulting Unit Lead, Salesforce, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission control is easy to use and gives you great tools to manage your projects efficiently. They are receptive to feedback which allows for an ever improving product. Looking forward to continue growing with them!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The whiteboard is limited to how many actions can be displayed and if you hit the limit its based created date. It shows the oldest created action no matter the status.

You can get around this by bring more particular about your filter criteria.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Don't feel limited to what's provided. Every business is different so customize and automate to help your team where needed!

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission control is great for running our engagements and keeping it easier for the PM team to keep us all on task. It can be very useful for engagements that rely on case management that requires time tracking and providing metrics for you.

 ### 21. Awesome Project management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Ankit S. | Speaker-Coach, SME for Instructional Design, Assessment, Game-Curriculum Development & Course Review, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The Gantt chart feature is fantastic. You can assign as many action points, milestones, and checklists which would be a logical breakdown of your entire project cycle.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is nothing as such to dislike. But the calendar function can be made more dynamic by integrating it on the spot with scheduling zoom calls or google meets.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

It would help if you approached the MC team with your business flow of core functions to ensure you get a heads-up for your needs.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost, Process, and timeline benefits, you name it! It's an endless story of benefits from kanban to the whiteboard for resource management. From invoicing to dashboard reports on performance, percentage completion, so on and so forth, the list of benefits is simply endless. The chatterbox helps keep the entire discussion thread on a particular topic within the team members. The meeting manager helps connect and assign action points for the project tasks. Simple amazing!

 ### 22. Great Salesforce-native project management app

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Duncan M. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Powerful, flexible, full-featured app with great support. As it's built on Salesforce, you can use a mix of out of the box features and extend/customize however you want on the Salesforce platform.

Will get you from estimating to scheduling to progress reports to billing and everything in between. Robust functionality and the flexibility to use the app in different ways depending on the project style/your needs.

Constantly improving with regular upgrades.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Has a bit of a learning curve, particularly in figuring out the right objects/tables to use for what size chunks of work. The flexibility is great but the downside is lots of different places to track pieces of work. Took some time to strike the right balance.

The benefits of building on Salesforce also have some downsides; mostly related to data security & sharing when exposing specific projects to external contractor and/or client users. More of a tradeoff than a drawback & could be solved with custom code/automation, just something to be aware of.

I would also like to see more LWC and less Visualforce.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mission Control to estimate, schedule, manage, and bill for all of our project work. It helps us stay organized and properly estimate the volume and velocity of work we have coming down the pipeline, as well as reflect back on the work we've done and see how it stacked up to our estimates.

We use it to track current and historical issues, share updates with clients, and track contractor as well as staff tasks/time.

The billing features are great as well; we found it pretty straightforward to set up an integration with our accounting tool to create invoices based on work tracked in SF.

 ### 23. In my opinion Mission Control built on the Salesforce Platform is awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control has greatly assisted CCAS ONLINE in delivering the best possible service to our Clients. The ease of setup, the UI, and all the other features are both logical and relevant. We are far more efficient in delivering our service because of Mission Control, the ability to add the Custom Components such as the Timelogger to various Page Layouts in Salesforce is a great benefit. The timely, intuitive Version Upgrades never fail to impress us even more.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is nothing I don't like about this App and would therefore highly recommend it. Well done Aprika!

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we are solving with Mission Control are immense. Before Mission Control, we were using multiple software and platforms to achieve what Mission Control does right out of the box. We now have the ability to create Project Templates to be used time after time with repetitive Client work. We are now working well within our Project Budgets, as it is so easy to log time against all Client work, allowing us to review our pricing on a lesser timescale than before. Collaboration and sharing within our organisation is far easier with Mission Control, nothing slips the net, everyone is on the one page so to speak.

 ### 24. Flexible and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control provides great tier-one dispatch services and helps to augment our teams' ability to prioritize inbound help desk calls.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Dispatchers don't always follow a script, and tend to skirt calls if information or a ticket can not be founds quickly.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control has greatly improved our help desk team's ability to prioritize inbound support calls, as well as assist with overflow during busy times. Mission Control also provides great tier-one support and dispatch service for after-hours calls.

 ### 25. Very satisfied for our org's needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | Senior Marketing Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

MC is great for the way that we manage and track projects and bill the hours we spend. We looked for the right software to fit needs and MC was the best option.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

If/when we have issues with the software, it is sometimes difficult to get the right support. However, Aprika is one of the more responsive orgs when it comes to needing to reach out for help.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to tie our project management system directly in with MC. We used to have these systems separte. We also were able to tie Quickbooks in with MC. So, we are able to save time and have benefit of all these systems being in one place.

 ### 26. Mission Control allowed us to tie our project work with our Salesforce data together.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Ability to customise Mission Control and connect it with our own custom Salesforce objects and processes, which allowed to build a holistic view of what we do, improve reporting and collaboration of the teams.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is full of features, what potentially can acommodate any project work from small, to big, but for someone who is not a project manager it might be hard to get head around all of the available features.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control is used for project management at first place, but ability to manage projects is not the only benefit. In combination with native Salesforce tools we were able to push the boundaries. Instead of just project management we have tool which saves time, ties together our internal and externally orientated efforts, greatly improves the transparency of our work from one department to another and does not require additional training for users, if you can use Saelsforce, you can use Mission Control.

 ### 27. MC Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Good parts of MC:
- ability to add in custom fields as suitable for us
- significant flexibility in type of fields we can set up
- great collection of documentation to help us along
- noticeable feature improvements over time (some of which were on our requested list)
- advanced project management features (which we're not taking full advantage of)
- ability to change things (e.g. project title) without all links/associations breaking
- ability to change field names without all links/associations breaking

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Downsides of MC:
- it is limited to the Salesforce environment; i.e. we can't use MC outside salesforce
- there's no functionality to store billable rates as a function of time (i.e. one rate for 2020, another rate for 2021), and calculate project finances accordingly
- lack of transparency on how values for managed fields are calculated
- no inbulilt ability to review project expenses on an ex-tax basis (we've created custom fields for this)
- (may be a salesforce limitation): no ability to format field titles and text areas - e.g. if we want to highlight (or colour code) an important (but not compulsory) field, there's no functionality for this

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Ensure that your projects can be moulded to the structure set out in MC.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- we are quite effectively able to manage time logging of our portfolio of projects;
- we are able to store extensive amount of custom information relating to the projects in MC, and generate reports for our purposes
- easily review time log entries of staff
- easily assess project profitability

 ### 28. Very robust project management tool with fairly easy set up and wonderful training videos

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa L. | Salesforce Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

An all-encompassing tool that has great reporting capabilities and quick insights into projects. I also like the training videos and knowledge base for when I need to reference questions.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I think it would be a bit easier to set up if it went through a questionnaire of exactly what the needs of the business are instead of making all available at once.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed insights into when projects were starting to reach limits with scope creep. We have just started utilizing this tool and are still in the infant phase.

 ### 29. Mission Control helped fix our issues with disparate management tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveed C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

MC helped us bring together all PM tools under our salesforce platform. It's our main sales tool, and now it's also our main project tool.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Lot of options in there means that we had to strip out a lot of the features to reduce clutter.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

If your sales pipeline is through Salesforce and you use PM tools, this is the main option you have and it's a great product. Very few negative things to say about it.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were initially using Jira, Harvest, Trello, Forecast and Xero(for leave management). Now we only use SF+Mission Control.

 ### 30. Mission Control is a time saving tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim A. | Strategic Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The fact that you can so easily organize any project. This detailed organization allows us to better serve our clients.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

No real dislikes. Mission control is a very valuable project management tool that I not only use in my day to day operations but also a tool that I commonly recommend to clients

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall visibility. Without company-wide visibility, there would be chaos. This project management tool is vital to eliminating redundant time-wasting tasks.

 ### 31. Mission-control is Awesome project management tool!!!!!!!!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md Mamunur Rashid M. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The Projects assist me with getting sorted out and plan out many bits of a huge task across various diverse colleagues. Work process the board for promising circumstances and undertakings.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The product doesn't generally return to the past view when changing from doing one undertaking to the past. I would say the Gantt graph is somewhat hard to use with respect to course of events altering.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Immense work process enhancements, expanded efficiency. We recently had an issue catching time logs from different jobs in numerous areas globally.

 ### 32. Robust Project Management Application for Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The control panel makes it very easy to clone project templates and spin up new programs/projects very quickly. There are a lot of features available to us in the product, some of which we plan to use right away, and others we may grow into over time.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some areas around scheduling and time tracking could have a more simplified user interface/user experience. The team has been very responsive to our feedback and bug reports, and we've seen improvements shipped in subsequent releases of Mission Control.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control gives us a single location to organize customer projects and allows for teams throughout our business to see the current status of ongoing projects and future planned work.

 ### 33. Good, but really requires a dedicated Ops or Admin

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

If you can figure out reporting, the ability to drill down into tiny segments is possible.

Automation for Project Creation is a nice new feature.

Resource Wizzard helps with bulk assignments.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

It's difficult to navigate creating reports; things can be very granular and almost too configurable.

The scheduler never has really reflected work accurately for us.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're just starting to be able to extract data to determine margins now due to the granular level of action time tracking the product has.

With Project Autocreation, we've been able to cut time down as we previously manually were cloning from a large template and removing milestones - that's been a big plus!

 ### 34. PMO Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We've been using Mission Control for just on two years and without a doubt it's best feature is the fact that it's built on the Salesforce system so we have perfect connectivity and visibility across sales, marketing, operations and finance.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There are a handful of features we're yet to use; we probably need more education on what we aren't using and improving our performance on features we are using.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our previous system, we didn't have a view across the organization, so sales and consultants struggled to align on project spend and scope, but now that the connectivity is there, we are better quoting our clients and providing them better visibility. There is a range of features we're also using, which is improving our billing and project efficiency, which is creating more profitable and reliable projects.

 ### 35. Mission Control Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission control is run by an experienced team who provide excellent, rapid response service for any issues we have had.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Not specifically, no. It is a great product.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control is a comprehensive project management tool. While we didn't use all Mission controls features, like the billing and scheduling, or example, what we have used has been a powerful way for us to manage, track, and oversee projects and their deliverables in an easy-to-use manner.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to track our funded projects deliverables.
We are easily able to track and analyze our projects.

 ### 36. Articulate, Accurate, and Affodable Solution for Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arzhang S. | Civil Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control has a sober project evaluating feature, allowing companies to forecast the exact finances an entire project can take.
More so, Mission Control has value-based mechanisms for portfolio management and cost evaluation.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is an excellent form of project management, but it lacks the prioritization of operations, where the appropriate action gets conducted at the required time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control is a high-quality project controller with many mechanisms to make the entire conduct efficient.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control has structures that support advanced project management, with a time tracker and expense control. Also, Mission Control swiftly classifies actions that are required to be conducted at a particular time.

 ### 37. Mission Control is Easy to work and manage with Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I like how we can see the progress of a Project and manage time logs spent in a project task. And these are all doable within Salesforce. Their support is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Maybe Mission Control could further improve Manage Rates button in a project. It typically loads up with blank page and have to retry couple of times until it loads up the page correctly.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can manage project better and is well aware on how much budget or where we're at in a project implementation.

 ### 38. Mission Control is Mission Critical for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary B. | Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control being built using Salesforce provided us with an amazing and extensive project management solution which we could simply configure to meet our business need and track key details for each project. The ability to report on projects, assign resources in a click, view a gantt chart are only a few things that excite us to use it everyday. The Aprika team provides 'out of this world' support (knowledge base, account calls, and tickets)

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is nothing we have found to not like about Mission Control. Any ideas we have had, their team has put on their roadmap and give us a date of when it will be completed.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Work with getting Mission Control in your Sandbox. We compared a few other products and Mission Control already landed on the moon compared to the other applications. The software is intuitive so getting hands on with it is recommended.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have a centralized location and storage for projects run across our entreprise. Mission Control provides this instantly. In addition, the ability to view tools in Mission Control around resource allocation is a change changer for us.

 ### 39. Helpful, but not super intuitive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The Projects help me organize and schedule out many pieces of a large project, across a number of different team members.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The user interface isn't very intuitive. You have to re-save multiple times, Gantt charts don't easily update, and its hard to tell what is "complete" in many of the Project views.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing client management projects across a 10-person operations team.

 ### 40. Malleable, approachable, sophisticated, and easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob M. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Sync to Pardot to create epic team communications and client experience!

This tool is so robust and so beautifully simple, nice work koala bears :)

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing yet, happy to provide feedback as we try to break it :) 😂 #jokingnotjoking

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Understand your data model/structure so your sales, ops, and finance can make the most of the tool, it's sweetl

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales to project without duplicate entry
Flexibility and control over projects and price
Comunication with clients

 ### 41. Good, but has bugs and in unintuitive in some ways

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher D. | P, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The overall design, and the fact that everything is in one place

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The Gantt shifting dates automatically, and it's awkward trying to move and link actions. Plus, Milestones are labelled incorrectly

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication and tracking throughout multiple teams

 ### 42. Very easy to setup, there is a very usefull userguide how to use the product.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily A. | Salesforce Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The user guide and the videos online are very helpful

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There were a few limitations, like color-coding on the action level.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage projects in Salesforce.

 ### 43. Mission at Terumo

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Easy to use, the Gant charts, being able to assign ownership to tasks.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The reports don't display what the executive team is asking to be informed about. It would be great to see the completed milestones and the upcoming milestones, along with comments on the current project status.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting buying from stakeholders on project management.

 ### 44. Packed with features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

 ### 45. Mission Control is Built on Salesforce so it's easy to deploy and adopt

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Support is awesome, the most responsive support so far. I like how it's integrated with Salesforce, easy to manage and deploy.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Manage Rates button on Projects could be improved.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our project budgets and monitoring the time log of each member.

 ### 46. Awesome tool

Planning abilities and overviews, very intuitive!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Many technical flaws, but the support team are on the spot to help, when you find them

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Don't leave the client to solve the problems

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely Project management, reporting, acting on facts

 ### 47. The team at Mission Control are highly responsive, take feedback, and are always helpful.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caoimhe M. | Business Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Not only is the product is easy to use, but it's also packed out with functionality that is continually evolving. The accompanying Release Notes are straightforward to read and digest - especially for a non-technical person. Everytime I think 'I wish the product had this', it usually turns up in the next upgrade as if they've read my mind. The support team take the time to explain queries, and are on-hand to help if required.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing really.. I find it very straightforward and, as mentioned above, if we need something then the feedback is usually taken onboard quickly.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We require a project management tool that is easily accessed/used by the staff. Mission Control helps us to deliver projects, and to align project-views across the scheduler, timesheet, and gantt views. Mission Control adds functionality to make the user-experience easier, such as cloning projects or bulk-reassigning actions.

 ### 48. Mission Control is mission critical to our success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Sr. VP, Global Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

As a Salesforce ISV we love that Mission Control is a native Salesforce application. The application is a robust project management solution. Presently, we have not even scratched the surface of what it can do for us, and I look forward to continuing to mature our process using Mission Control.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Ideally, we would be able to easily collaborate with our customers on project plans. While the Salesforce platform allows for this level of enhancement, this is not an out of the box feature of Mission Control. I hope this is something that will be on the Mission Control product roadmap in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Conrol is a robust project management and automation tool. I recommend investing in the initial implementation to ensure you are getting the most out of the solution.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With services resources being the biggest cost to the business, it is important that I have visibility into key metrics like utilization, margin, resource planning, etc. Mission Control provides me with the metrics I need to run this portion of our business. The fact that Mission Control is built on the Salesforce platform makes it easy for me to create my own dashboards and reports and allows me to slice the data any way I choose.

 ### 49. Complete Project Management Tool Integrated with Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob R. | Vice President, Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control provides an excellent set of tools for managing projects within the Salesforce Ecosystem. The team at Aprika (makers of Mission Control) are always quick to respond to questions to help you use the tool. Mission Control was easy to "turn-on" and immediately start using. Being integrated with Salesforce allows endless customization to suit your needs. Mission Control has a wealth of training videos, which I highly recommend that you watch as many as possible. Being able to link and reference different Salesforce objects (Accounts, Opportunities, etc) allows extremely powerful reporting and tracking. Additionally, since the Mission Control application is built on Salesforce Objects, it is very easy to display data in excel for reporting and tracking.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The downsides of Mission Control are it's complexity, and features which may not be useful but are still there. It took us a while to determine what features of the tools we had the time/ability to integrate into our workflow. There are a ton of bells and whistles that larger project management teams will love, but with a dedicated PM, the complexity can weigh down the day to day tasks. The billable/non-billable functionality was too cumbersome for our team to use for the way to manage projects, but I can see where it would be useful. We are a small company (<15 PPL), and without a dedicated PM we had to be selective of the features we wanted to use. We also have up to 45 projects running at any time, so we needed to get our process as lean and concise as possible. There was a learning curve from that standpoint. Once we stripped down some of the more advanced features, we have an excellent tool that my entire team can use.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

I recommend asking lots of questions internally about what is important to track, and how much of the automated billing and hour tracking features you want to use. It is easy to get buried in all the features, and it's important to lay out what you want versus need.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went from tracking our projects in Excel/Planner, just tracking a single project, to full milestone tracking, linked to revenue and projections. My weekly status meetings, and monthly overview reports are nearly 100% automated, which is a huge time saver.

 ### 50. Great native Salesforce project management tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather D. | Founder & CEO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is native to Salesforce, so that makes it really easy to manage all of my projects in one place. I have the flexibility to be able to create automation and reporting around different aspects of my projects, which gives my team the tools they need to be more productive.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

You do need an understanding of Salesforce to be able to effectively use Mission Control.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business is completely service based, and we have multiple projects going at any time for our various clients. Mission Control helps my team to stay organized, so that we have a good grasp on our milestones, and can track the number of hours we've spent on a project, versus what was allocated for the customer. We've been able to set up alerts when the hours on an hour block are getting low, and it's much easier to track time against different projects per employee for payroll.
