You have to pay extra for most of your important database icons. Sometimes when you create a very large diagram, the board will freeze. I'm sitting here staring at the screen zoning out searching through the menu for specific icon shapes and it seems like an eternity. I really like Miro's infinite canvas; it allows everyone to provide input and document everything on the same board, which is great for big teams. The simplicity and performance are impressive too—there's no need for training, and it never hangs on the Chrome browser. I find it easy to use, and the provided widgets and color palettes are more than sufficient for writing flowcharts, designing APIs, and documenting designs. I think one area where Miro could improve is by integrating AI features. Many tools now offer AI capabilities, so it would be helpful if Miro could design an entire flowchart for us when we pose a question about it. It’s easy to use as a whiteboard for discussions. There are multiple tools available, which is really handy for drawing, taking notes, jotting down bullet points and action items, and assigning next steps. I’m looking for better Jira integration. I want to link Jira stories and issues directly with Miro boards, and when a story is completed, I’d like Miro to automatically close or update the related timelines. One thing I dislike is that PlantUML diagrams cannot be edited after they are created. If I want to make changes, I have to save the PlantUML code somewhere else and then edit that code and generate the diagram again instead of editing the diagram directly. What I like most about Miro is how it brings thinking, collaboration, and AI into the same workspace. I can quickly put ideas, notes, diagrams, and rough concepts on one canvas and then use AI to organize, summarize, or build on what I’ve already created. The fact that the AI can understand the context of the canvas is especially useful because I don’t have to repeatedly explain the background. that PDF pages reset if you leave the miro and come back, it doesnt reduce the pdf file so it tend to freeze. with this reason we make multiple boards for same project, ended up getting confused.

Also there are a lot of time we draw linework and sketches on top of the attached images, but most of the time the linework tend to be connected to adjacent shapes or notes which is super annoying

What I like best about Miro is that it helps me turn my ideas into something I can actually see. I like how the platform allows for creativity to draw, type a sticky note, etc., it's taking real-life storyboarding and allowing it to be digital, and for remote working and changing. Pricing, I don't like that some features are paid subscriptions or that there is a cap on how many free boards you are allowed to have.
