Not only can you easily search and locate critical information in notes, even if you forget where you initially saved it, but they are also simple to organize, print, and share. What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?

I use Microsoft OneNote on my Android phone to jot down notes (text and pictures), capture memories, create mini plans, and keep to-do lists. I can also access OneNote in Firefox or Chrome to tidy up what I’ve written and group my notes by topic. I really like that it’s free, and so far I haven’t had to pay to use it. I don’t think it’s integrated with AI yet. Overall, it’s easy to use and it syncs automatically to the cloud version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?

Sometimes the Android version gets out of sync with the cloud version, and I end up having to sign in to OneNote in a browser to fix the version mismatch. I also don’t like how the text area on my phone can shift around on the screen, almost like it’s unhinged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed a utility that lets me write free text without a lot of formatting, and it’s quick and easy to use. I like that I can create to-do lists with tick boxes and tick off each task when it’s done. If my mini plan changes, I can always cut and paste items into another mini plan.
