PowerBI has great and vast online resource, documentation, community site & support which makes it an easy tool to learn. Its pricing tier could get confusing at times (pro, premium). Although it has data import option (Get Data) in both PowerBI Desktop and PowerBI Service, which is great for getting data from different sources but it only helps in getting data from Microsoft products majorly. This makes it easy to transition between tools and leverage existing workflows, especially for businesses using the Microsoft suite. - There's extensive documentation, training options, and a community around the tool. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?** Although the tool itself is user-friendly, there is a learning curve for advanced features (e.g.: DAX, power query, data modeling) which can be challenging if you don't follow a more structured training. Besides, PWBI can struggle with very large datasets. Being an experienced user is required in this case, otherwise one can perish. Optimizing performance requires careful attention to data modeling, query efficiency, and often, compromises in visual complexity. Version control and collaboration are not a thing. I don't see it as an option for multiple people making changes in the same report. **What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Real-time updates in Power BI reports, bringing relevant information available to managers and cross-company. This is an excellent way to analyze and present data from multiple sources. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?** When you are initially setting up the API feed for data source to PBI, this is a fairly technical part. I found a consultant who was able to help get the data connections set up and I was able to build reports from there. **What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a consistent and professional report template that we are able to present to customers on a monthly basis. ### 49.
