Being able to display what you need to see works maybe 1 out of every 2 times you try. **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It relatively easy to pick up, and all users have different ways of maneuvering. Smaller SAAS Providing Big Application Offerings **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2018 **What do you like best about Infios Transportation Management?** Very configurable, ability to config without developer involvement, can manage application without need for MG involvement, multiple ways to solution one thing. **What do you dislike about Infios Transportation Management?** New GUI (EZVision) was released to market too soon; often not providing same functionality as previous GUI (EZClick). **Recommendations to others considering Infios Transportation Management:** Do your own internal homework first. Build workflows of what you already have, build workflows of what you WANT, scrub your own data first. Make sure to devote time to implementation, and not bring people to the table who are both implementing the software on your behalf AND also doing a daily job; you need to be 100% focused on implementing or you will struggle. Take training modules FIRST, and not after implementing. Consider a consulting firm to help with; MG has a few they recommend. Whatever time MG suggests you will go live, add 15 to 20% more to that because we did not realize how much we didn't account for in our own business as well as MG didn't realize during original POC/sales cycle. Whatever budget MG suggests you will pay for the deployment, make sure you bank about 20% for change orders; development needs that no-one knew about, travel for on site meetings (either at MG HQ or your own HQ), and any other outlying budget needs (for 3rd party software). **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Full Logistics deployment from sourcing, freight movement across multiple modes, planning, supplier access, customer access, electronic communications, and KPI reporting. ### 8. Getting rates and booking shipments can be ugly especially when focusing on things such as freight desk fees and adding accesorials **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** TMS is considered an old Freight tool we have other options that link to TMS to get rates and are much more user friendly but the basic idea for us is booking freight shipments ### 10. Leveraging your operations setup along with the features within the MG systems nearly seamlessly. **What do you dislike about Infios Transportation Management?** The amount of flexibility comes with some maintenance nightmares as well. Keeping internal documentation is key as MG guides are very basic to functionality, not as much usability type documents as we would to see. **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We operate our entire Broker operation at Schneider within the MercuryGate TMS - allowing 500+ users to stay within the MG suite of products for all interactions with customers and carriers. ### 12. The only struggles that we have experienced involve the API's. MercuryGate has not always balanced well the service delivery model with exposing the data and methods to their customers. **Recommendations to others considering Infios Transportation Management:** Be careful in selecting your in-house implementor. **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We using the basic TMS with MOJO to implement traditional non-asset based 3PL services. The MG TMS allows for great efficiency gains versus other systems that we have used. ### 13. The tool is relatively easy to use and you can navigate to find what you need without a lot of extensive training. **What do you dislike about Infios Transportation Management?** The configuration of the tool at our company leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure if this is due to the impimentaiton team or the changing nature of the business, but many key data elements are missing or incomplete, which muddies the analysis we're able to perform. **Recommendations to others considering Infios Transportation Management:** Make sure to get the product configured correctly up front. Our current deployment includes some gaps, which limits the power of the tools in MercuryGate. It is much harder to fix these types of issues after the fact, post 'go live' when you're "drinking from a firehose" and the initial momentum has passsed. **What problems is Infios Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're analyszing current usage and policy compliance in the field as well as monitoring supplier utilization and compliance. ### 14.
