Being a CRF designer, I like the features like skip rule, and form rule which make the job easier to build complex study structures with simple steps and do not require any custom functions or external programming. Writing edit checks, auto queries, subject status and range checks is easier than compared to other tools available in the market and does not require any knowledge of programming language. One can easily play with the visibility of fields on eCRF with the help of the skip rule which is the best feature. Different kinds of warnings, error messages and pending change reports help us to analyze the risk while handling mid-study changes and thus deployment has become an easy task. different icons and color codes made query management easy. Good for phase 1 & 2 studies with less complex design and less number of subjects. **What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?** Studies demanding complex design can not be programmed in Medrio. Edit check writing is an easy but lengthy job as each time need to select each EDC object from the dropdown and drag it to the right place, instead, can we add features like quick edit. **What problems is Medrio EDC solving and how is that benefiting you?** The study design process has become efficient time required to build EDC screens and validation checks has reduced significantly. For e.g. in 'Query listing', you can't see the site's response to query clearly. Or some new features are added that are not thought through entirely from DM perspective. Being able to perform the study build in-house is much faster than other systems where the vendor builds. Mid-study changes can be made in a matter of days to minimize the time between identification of a data collection issue and adjustment of the CRF. **What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?** Medrio has imited ability to create custom functions or javascript to address complex edit checks. Many clinical database systems take extensive training to figure out how to use and are not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Anyone can use Medrio, despite their technological skill set and background. The training guides are very helpful and the options to choose from within the database are easy to navigate. Medrio is very cost effective, which ultimately drives down pharma costs, allowing important clinical research to continue. Without cost effective solutions like Medrio, the scientists and doctors behind the clinical research would not have affordable options to choose from to pursue their research and conduct a clinical trial. **What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?** I would love to know more about the reporting tools available. I have not seen in depth training to be able to learn more. When doing data management of a clinical trial, it is helpful to have a report with site specific data. Currently we use SAS for customized listings and Medrio browse data reports (among others). We have also had issues with ePRO skip logic and form triggers with repeated visits. **Recommendations to others considering Medrio EDC:** Medrio is worth your time to explore. Training is always available for clients to do remotely, which alleviates the pressure of our company to provide in times of urgent need. Site staff, CRAs/monitors and me and my sponsor co-workers seem to like it compared with other EDC systems. **What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?** for more complex heavy amount of data Medrio was not well suited for our study LT open label study. for a phase 1b/2 study it worked really well for us (sponsor) **What problems is Medrio EDC solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Medrio DB does not have the capacity to support all of our data for our open label LT study w hundreds of subjs who have been enrolled for 3+ yrs and counting. The database also is ridiculously slow likely bc of all the data we have in it for our study. This didnt happen for another company I worked for (on the sponsor side) likely bc of the limited amount of data required for our phase 1b/2 study. ### 38.
