I like the sheer amount of information that can be housed under each client and household and that you are able to create and customize fields.

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

I don't like that sometimes the outlook plug-in doesn't work properly. For example sometimes the calendars don't sync up. 

**Recommendations to others considering Maximizer:**

I love the amount of support that is available to me. I also like that Maximizer is nimble in getting things added or adjusted.

The ability to connect with clients on a deeper, more meaningful level. I have realized better relationships.

I like the accounts section, so the client has a contact and for each product/policy etc they have we have a noted accounted.

I dislike that it is often slow, I'm usually waiting for info to save  or/and to move to the next screen

Having client policy updates, renewals, anniversary reminders.

Customizing the various fields to fit our needs and how we label or identify information is essential to ideal record keeping and accessibility to this information.

The Activities have a character limit of 255 which sometimes makes it difficult to enter all pertinent information.

Ensure you spend time in the conversion stages so that you are aware of what information will be converted properly and what won't.

All information in one place and easy to access/find.  Saves a lot of time and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

I like how I can look up information at work, home and on my smart phone.  Easy to use and works well.

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

The search features was recently greatly improved. I have a few quirks that I would like addressed, but my impact on this is 3x per year so not much daily impact.

Contact management mostly.

One improvement I would like, is that for it to actually dial the number selected when I choose make a call. It always chooses the first number.

I'd like it to be easier to do batch emails...

As I've noted, Maximizer is great! It has integrated with Outlook brilliantly so really easy to save information on the fly! I also use the phone App... The product just keeps getting better.  Also love that they do webinars so you can keep up to date with all the latest additions!

Without Maximizer I couldn't keep on top of my prospecting. It's been invaluable!

The possibility on customizing pretty much everything on the software

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

Software often get really slow and difficult to work with.
The last update changes were terrible and made the software harder to use (e.g. searching mechanisms)
Lack of integration with Google calendar

Client information accessible anywhere to myself and my assistant - at office, home and on cell.

Not sync contact info easily to cell contacts - Android phone. Thus not able to easily call Maximizer contact in car.

MAX is such a robust system. the financial planner version with all the templates are fantastic, such a time saver for set up. As well as the ability to create our own UDF, templates, instead of our old system relying on someone to create them for us. The customer service is fantastic, always there when you call upon them.

the search function in accounts module is not contact based searched like the contact list is.

LOVE IT! If your thinking about switching, don't hesitate or delay like we did.

our old system was not instantly syncing, unreliable and not trustworthy for keeping inputted data. MAX is very quick, reliable and able to trust our preset processes into place in a efficient manner, being more productive!

So many features that I don't feel I'm using the full benefit of all the functions.

Use the webinars and video tutorials. Ask questions and get support.

Tracking progress of multiple client cases and daily reminders for follow-up. I have secured more deals by staying on top of the details Maximizer tracks for me.

Action plan function is super useful, general layout is user friendly, platform is easy to navigate, note templates save time. 

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

Character maximum in tasks, no quick set up for reoccurring tasks and help function not as good as i have seen with other CRMs. Saving emails seems to be creating duplicate entries and so far no fix for this yet.

Not great for sales tracking but really good for tracking of current client communication/info/etc.

Maximizer has helped us create efficiencies within the team by using tasks/note templates/action plans.

I enjoyed how easy it was to seamlessly transfer files from Microsoft Office and easily integrate them within CRM. It made my job much easier than it had been previously!

There is a slight learning curve to using a new CRM, but that is to be expected.

I have used Maximizer for years.  I particularly like the user defined activity schedules for follow up.  I have multiple scenarios designed for lease follow up. 

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

When Emails are logged there is no way to know if the email was inbound or outbound or if there is an attachment associated with the email unless a person manually adjusts the proprieties description.  I find this a waste of time.

Mainly follow up for our lease portfolio and quotation follow up.  I use document merge a lot as well.

There are some hiccups with the Outlook addon that need updating in regards to sending e-mail confirmations repeating etc and crashes.

Access has become easier since you use your browser settings, however the security is different in the cloud version as appose to the Stand alone version.   

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

I believe they way we use it is different than most other companies.  So the dislikes may directly relate to our individual use of the product.

Fully understand the security setup your running prior to migrating to the cloud.

Moving to the cloud only benefit was to get to the later version.

Not having the option of multiple addresses for a contact, that doesn't automatically link to all other contacts under the same company.

Wasting time looking for up-to-date contact information, and losing emails/correspondence to clients.

Customer support was great.  There was a lot of handholding throughout the entire setup process and customer support was very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

System did not meet our needs.  We were looking for something similar to a tech support setup, with tickets being able to pass easily from hand to hand.  Found it near impossible for multiple users to make use of it in this configuration.

We did not solve the problem.  We ended up migrating to another CRM product

**What do you like best about Maximizer?**

I like the limitlessness of what Maximizer allows you to do. There are very few things that can't be done with Maximizer. The support we receive from the Maximizer staff is incredible as well.

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

Maximizer could be improved by being better integrated with Outlook and other Microsoft programs. One big improvement that could easily be made is allowing to colour coordinate the Maximizer calendar in the same way done with Outlook.

Very useful for keeping track of clients. There are always more things to learn that Maximizer allows you to do.

The support, ease of use.The cloud based CRM live eliminated all the software installations issues of the past and works well from about any computer.

Needs to improve on report writing options and wish it was more compatible with a MAC.

Look at the cost to some of the competition as SalesForce. Ease of learning how to use it.

as it is a web based program I like the ability to use while at the office or out on the road on my ipad.

The outlook integration is good but I would like more options to allow for a email generated in outlook to be automatically added to the notes section within maximizer.

Customization is the best feature of this program and probably the main appeal for any company to be able to utilize it. The web based version simplifies the search process and database management, a huge improvement.

The web based version operates more slowly than the software version. The lag at times can really bother someone use to the faster software model.

Try it out, the customization features may be worth the investment

We had multiple databases when we used the software model which made it very difficult to manage. With the web based version we can now seamlessly move between them saving time and improving efficiencies.

**What do you like best about Maximizer?**

There is a lot of freedom in the Maximizer program - everything is incredibly customizable. You can choose to edit almost any portion of the program to suit what you need. We don't use it at this point, but I can imagine that having many users on the same system would be extremely useful because every employee has access to the same up to date information and knows what stage a file / client is at so they can be informed what the next steps are to complete the file (in our case, it's mortgages and follow ups afterwards).

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

The program is almost too complicated to get started because you are required to set it up to use. If that isn't your area of expertise, it can be very difficult to set it up and think ahead of the uses you need to prepare it to be able to search for. 

**Recommendations to others considering Maximizer:**

Know what you really need from the product and how any changes will affect you before starting the process.

**What problems is Maximizer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to save documents, which has been very handy with little files or notes that we used to save into a section on the computer and have to search for, but are now connected directly with the client info when you search. We have also thorough enjoyed printing labels directly from the program and being able to customize those labels before even leaving Maximizer. Sometimes we want to include the company, sometimes we don't, but we have the option to change this within the program first so it knows which information to pull and print out onto the labels. It is also accessible from anywhere, so when we are not within the office, we still can have secure access to information that we have been putting into the system.

I use the online Maximizer version.  As a result, I can access it from any device and the info is always up-to-date.  All my email and phone contact info is in one place.  All the emails in and out are also kept under each client and contact, so I can more easily retrieve that info later.

Using Maximizer on the ipad or iPhone is good, but could be improved.  I can only see my appointments on a weekly basis, instead of over the entire calendar.

**What problems is Maximizer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I take good notes within Maximizer and link all phone calls and emails out and back for each client and contact, I can review ALL my contacts for a client for the past year when I do their year-end work.  Then, I can see in a report, all my comments, all our interactions and events and appointments and emails that I had with a client and incorporate that into my year-end discussions with my tax/accounting clients.  This helps me know my client better and it impresses them that I remember events and tasks from 10 months ago and more.

I like that clients can be householded, that emails are easy to save from outlook and that I can send mass emails to all clients.   I also like there is an ap, though I'm still working on the rest of the team to implement it

I find there are a lot of mandatory fields and sometimes they don't make sense for our team.   There are a lot of things we don't use to be honest, but the things we do work well for us.

It's time saving, especially in sending mass emails or printing labels....we don't have a program in our office that does that.

calendar is not good on a tablet & phone. Only good on Laptop.

Maximizer has many features that, if integrated together, can be very beneficial to a business. It helps you keep track of anything you need in an organized fashion. The best thing I think about maximizer is the ability to search mass groups of contacts/households by a specific key field with any information you input.

**What do you dislike about Maximizer?**

There is often a large amount going on and a seemingly simple task can be made difficult by the complexity and amount of work required for it. I've also found that when I go to the "live chat" for help, there is "no representative available" almost every time, which gets quite frusterating.

**Recommendations to others considering Maximizer:**

Make the switch if you use a CRM heavily, Maximizer is very helpful.

The biggest problem that Maximizer has solved is consolidating all information to one place, as there's very few things that can't be effectively stored in Maximizer

It is a great CRM tool that is user friendly. It can track and monitor client meetings. Noyes can be added to each client file and data stored in a specific area for individual clients.

It has helped to organize appointments and our office is now able to make more frequent contacts with our clients. It also allows us to see when we last met with a client.

I like that Maximizer auto populates the search bar when I start typing in the name of a customer. When looking up accounts it is helpful how quickly I can access information, especially compared to quickbooks.

I find it difficult to look at the notes I have for accounts. Especially when I have multiple accounts for one customer because they are located in many different cities.

Primary program we use for client scheduling and tasks all in one convenient place.  Helps to keep office organized and connected without the use of emails or timely face-to-face conversations.

I would like some kind of notification system for hotlist tasks and perhaps a way to identify the priority of the task (high medium or low) within the task itself.  It would be excellent to be able to distinguish a task that requires immediate action versus a long-term or less important task.

managing 'households' when one member dies.  We need to keep the historic communication details but need to ensure that nothing gets mailed or addresses to a deceased individual within a household.
