The searching. The forms. The tasks. They all work together the way you would expect them to. Once configured, the system runs. If the users log in and complete their tasks, the system stays current. **What do you dislike about MasterControl Quality Management System?** The only drawback is the standard forms cover all possibilities for all quality systems. If your system does not use that particular aspect, there is no easy way to disable it, just "N/A". That is going to be addressed in the upcoming release to make it easier to configure custom forms, so I am looking forward to that. **What problems is MasterControl Quality Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an easily validated system to support both the food side and the medical device sides of our business. It allows us to manage compliance and track documents (with revision and access control), training, and quality events. In addition the system is hosted in the cloud, so we do not need to maintain our own infrastructure or IT team solely for the software. By being in the cloud, we receive frequent quarterly upgrades with new features, monthly defect patches, and global 24/7 availability. We also utilize the VxT validation tool, which cuts our quarterly upgrade validation time down to hours, and the customer support team is top-notch. **What do you dislike about MasterControl Quality Management System?** There are some quirks to the system that take some learning, but MasterControl has developed an excellent self-study library of courses to help. In addition, the older quality events module presented some configuration limitations that required us to adapt our processes to match MasterControl rather than the other way around. Fortunately, MasterControl's replacement of this module, Advanced Quality Event Management, just launched in 2024 and is alleviating this pain point. **What problems is MasterControl Quality Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** MasterControl is eliminating paper from our quality management process and giving us real-time access to digital data without needing to manually enter information in a separate spreadsheet. Trying to keep up with training was a nightmare. We updated documents monthly so it was neverending. Especially when dealing with staff member vacations, leave of absence, etc. **What do you dislike about MasterControl Quality Management System?** Now that we are Cloud we have less control. Upgrades, all issues are resolved externally. **What problems is MasterControl Quality Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. Prior to MasterControl, users collaborated via email, which can be confusing. 2. Training was manually completed on paper. Imagine trying to coordinate training for hundreds of people over three states while trying to reconcile any delinquent training for staff returning from leave, transfers, etc. It was overwhelming... Now with MasterControl, training is configured. I can run reports to see who did not complete their training in a timely manner. When staff return from leave, with a couple of clicks training will be launched. I do not have to remember what training was missed while on leave. MasterControl does all the work for me. ### 22. There are still some settings for both end users and admins that are well hidden and hard to find. The document module is the biggest strength of the system and allows for a fair amount of customization with its workflows. Occasionally, I encountered minor glitches when working across different devices, but the responsive customer support team was quick to address these concerns.
