## About Manifold System
Manifold System is a single, integrated product that provides three major classes of GIS functionality in a single package: as a desktop application, as an objects library for programmers and as an Internet Map Server for web applications (all versions except Personal Edition include IMS).

**What do you like best about Manifold System?**

I like the ability to upload from many platforms.  

**What do you dislike about Manifold System?**

Sometimes the annotations don't work out so great. 

**What problems is Manifold System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Manifold I am able to plot the GPS data from the pipelines that the line walkers collect.  It is super easy and relatively easy.  The benefits are the amount of time saved and ability to save as to many other platforms.

**What do you like best about Manifold System?**

Ease of use. It's just a much simpler software than ArcGIS and definitely not as buggy. I like that maps and data is saved within the file, unlike ArcGIS. Easy mapping, Memory usage is low and probably the best part about it is the low cost. 

**What do you dislike about Manifold System?**

Not quite as robust as ArcGIS. Not as many geoprocessing tool and functions, like ArcGIS has. No support really, seems like they just have an online manual. Definitely more bare bones than ArcGIS but the can be a good and bad thing. 

**Recommendations to others considering Manifold System:**

Good, simple, cheap GIS Software

Presentation, geoprocessing, data management.

Converting to other formats can be tricky

Manifold provides complete GIS and database tools to create extensive maps.  Provides the business with another option for our clients.
