It's highly customisable, and the powerful searching means that you have no trouble finding archived messages when needed. It can be up and running pretty quickly, depending on your mail platform, although there's a lot of scope for fine-tuning the setup, and it's worth bearing in mind considerations around server and archive maintenance/management (mainly ensuring you have reporting to confirm it's all working, and that your archive is properly backed up somewhere). Once you've invested a bit time in getting the setup correct and optimised, however, it's pretty much just a case of install and forget. From an end-user point of view, searching is easy, and users get used to it pretty quickly. **What do you dislike about MailStore Server?** Setup for archiving Microsoft 365 is a bit more complex, but mainly due to integrating with Modern Authentication, and the documentation for this is pretty good. It's a shame that there are still no Mac or mobile clients, however; Windows users benefit from both a standalone Client application and an Outlook plug-in, but Mac and mobile users have to stick with just the web-based interface. **What problems is MailStore Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** Makes finding historical emails much easier. Avoids bloated mailboxes. ### 3. Lack of reliability and efficiency. **What problems is MailStore Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped in sorting out all the emails but to a limited extend. But overall, it is not as efficient and effective as compared to other software. no increase in business performance or productivity ### 4. Pricing was very competitive as well. **What do you dislike about MailStore Server?** Managing the databases can be a bit kludgy. It would be nice to have the software have a more hands off approach to dealing with the datastores for email. **What problems is MailStore Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our exchange servers had grown to very large sizes and had become very slow. We were unable to get cooperation from upper management to limit the size of mailboxes so MailStore helped us keep all the mail they "needed to keep" while taking the load off of our Exchange server. ### 5. Mailstore also allows for space saving, and easy search features. **What do you dislike about MailStore Server?** OWA restore is a bit clunky. (This is when an email has been removed from exchange and needs to be restored.) **Recommendations to others considering MailStore Server:** Use the trial first...do not have the trial move the messages until you decide to go with the program. **What problems is MailStore Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** In house archiving provides security and back up for all email. We have seen our Exchange server run better without all the clutter of ages old emails and attachments. The search interface is a snap to use, and many of our assoicates now use Mailstore search instead of OWA search features, even for recent mail. ### 13. It represent a valid solution and for some of our customer is become a must have tool. Searching in the email archive is fast and accurate. **What do you dislike about MailStore Server?** Honestly with mailstore we've found the perfect solution for archiving. An integrated archive's backup strategy or integration with backup solution could be a top level feature very appreciated.
