Llamaroo is an AI lesson platform for primary education that helps teachers, schools, and parents create, adapt, and deliver gamified digital lessons for young learners. The platform combines AI-assisted lesson creation with interactive, story-driven learning activities, allowing educators to turn curriculum objectives, lesson plans, worksheets, prompts, or classroom materials into structured lessons that students can complete on a guided path. I used to use Twinkl and free worksheets a lot for my Year 1 maths, English, and science pupils that I tutor. What I really love about Llamaroo is that, in a matter of minutes, I can upload my worksheets, as well as any course materials from the children or their parents, and AI generate a course so, so, soooo fast. It is pretty fun to play around with the lessons as they generate. It is so easy to select a curriculum to align to, choose your year group, then click generate. I also love that you can choose so many different characters, and their personalities are a joy. The children love them. I was using Llamaroo for free for the past month. The founders reached out to me and gave me an early access prototype, and it is sooo much better now haha! The free plan is perfect to get started. Since I tutor 5–10 pupils in a given term, I needed to upgrade to the Teacher Pro plan, which was only £19/month. Totally worth it for teaching three courses at a time. I rotate my courses within my three classrooms and manage my pupils and their progress easily. Also, I didn't know this, but once you upgrade, you can connect your AI keys so I connected Gemini and I no longer had to top up my AI credits! The founders and their team are very involved, and there is a support chat and even a WhatsApp community accessible directly from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Llamaroo? Sometimes it's a bit hard to serve the courses to the students. the QR. Code and class links are lovely, but there has to be a smoother way to do this. I understand security is in the founders' top priority, and they do an amazing job ensuring pupils don't need and personal information to use the app, but because of this, it can be a bit cumbersome at times. They're actively working on it though and they have made so much progress over the past 2 months. I am so excited for next term to see what they've improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Llamaroo solving and how is that benefiting you? Omg, I genuinely have my weekends back. It used to take about three times as long to prep for a tutoring session as it did to actually teach the one-hour session. I had to collect coursework from parents, find extra bits from forums and resource pages, then spend hours trying to turn it all into something engaging, like a story or game, for my pupils. It was hard, especially because I work full-time and I’m doing a master’s at the moment as well. With Llamaroo, it is so easy to just upload the course materials and click generate. Now I can make a full Duolingo-style game for my pupils in about five minutes. They absolutely love the Llamaroo lessons too, and they remember so much more of the material. They actually get excited now when I come round to tutor them. It used to be so hard to get their attention away from Bluey or Roblox haha.
