From an Administrator's perspective, the feature that I like best is that LimitLIS provides the user with the tools they need to query information from the LIS' easily with almost unlimited customization for reporting metric data. Navigating the LIS is easy, straight forward, an easy to implement and train others. It allows me to troubleshoot with my laboratories remotely, while giving me the tools to freely query the database by any field in which data is inputted into the system. When it comes to test results, some of the out-of-the-box features seem limited on result report customization. However, these limitations can be easily circumvented by utilizing LimitLIS software engineering team to custom build the interface your lab requires for any specific type of testing needed. The system was definitely built for meeting the needs of most testing; wellness testing and urine toxicology come to mind, but from my experience can be adapted to fit any need (PCR, Genetic testing, etc).
