I like the availability of the program, and how it works

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

IT's not the easiest program to use, it's just a bit confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Kollective:**

I would definitely use it if you had a knowledgable IT staff. We only have one employee and it's not simple to figure out, so it's just not the best for us personally.

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly media sharing, and it's convenient to be able to share so quickly.

**What do you like best about Kollective?**

One of the best features is the minimum load on the network. This is very usefull in a large organisation where some branches does not have the broadest lines.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

Whats not to like? Lower load on internal network. Better destribution of video content and better feature list compared to the old video platform

**Recommendations to others considering Kollective:**

Test it out, you will regret it.

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kollective replaced an aging video platform that did not support HD and was out of support. Before implementation we tested load on different types of lines internally and found the results very satisfactory.

**What do you like best about Kollective?**

What I like best about Kollective is the reductionof load on the network which allows locations without high capacity bandwidth to view content, then the Simplicity and ease of use of the product.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

I would like to have the product integrate with video conferencing solutions such as WebEx or Skype via encrypted connections.

**Recommendations to others considering Kollective:**

It is a very good solution if you have the IT staff and Audio Visual staff to run large events.

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have executive townhalls that we want all countries / locations to experience real time as well and video on demand. Our previous solution did not support the amount of locations / users we needed to broadcast to.

**What do you like best about Kollective?**

I like the ease of uploading videos and how non-disruptive the video deliveries are to the network.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

Management of videos/channels can be difficult.  it would be nice if alerts could be set or videos could be auto-deleted.  Also, being able to run reports of what videos a specific user has uploaded would be nice.

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now distribute videos to the entire company and no longer have to hide them in SharePoint.

**What do you like best about Kollective?**

Ability to communicate without killing bandwidth. With multiple communications across various business units every month this product helps us preserver other business functions.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

Not yet enabled to be used natively with ZOOM. Currently only able to use thru other business partner due to existing contract in place.

Perfect for corporate communications

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webcast global communications with all employees. Meanwhile corporate networks stays intact. Up and coming SCCM integrations helps with distributing desktop engineering packages throughout our network.

Easy to share video to many user at the same time in HQ and that you can have different Channels.

Haven't seen anything that I dislike yet

The peering technology as it allows us to brodcast live events to location where we have bandwidth constrains.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

It requires flash installed for Chrome and Edge

Low bandwidth consumption on Live Events = thanks to peering technology

Deploying the service without hardware or major network-change requirements

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

Difficult to long-term manage content in media center.  No expiration and auto-delete of content.  Hard to know how much space is used.

Enterprise video -- particularly promoted VOD.  and Townhall meeting support

**What do you like best about Kollective?**

The peer-to-peer functionality is realy helpful to saving on Internet bandwidth for townhalls, etc.

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

Use of Flash...supposedly HTML5 support is on the way, but it needs to be here now.  Flash is a security problem across the board, and to still be delivering new code based on it is getting more and more difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Kollective:**

Push hard for the HTML5 support!

**What problems is Kollective solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Distributing large-scale town halls globally, including sites in remote/rural areas with poor bandwidth.

The ability to seamlessly and automatically download the patches and fix the issues. 

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

None at this stage. However, would be good to have less flickers sometimes with the poor internet connection. Also, the picture initially appears blurry when the video starts.

minimal support requirements. Once set up it seems to look after itself.

Very little. There is nothing further I can add to this.

That the software works with SharePoint, making training videos easy to distribute.

SharePoint is not always the easiest system to navigate.

Player interface, admin console and simple UI

**What do you dislike about Kollective?**

lack of reaching global users even with high bandwidth. continual issues with errors, basically streaming stability.  Also lack of solid offline solution

We have many customers that have had great success with us and we would like an opportunity to discuss this further with you. Your issue could be due to configuration or settings for your organization.  Additionally, the Kollective solution is designed to help reduce bandwidth usage but can also cache content to be viewed offline, however, this must be configured by an admin of the tool.
