I like Ketch’s clean UI and the way it sits on our website. It gives us the flexibility to handle privacy requirements in different regions, and we could set them up seamlessly out of the box. Turning on the privacy banner was also seamless for an early-stage company like ours. I like that we could start with a free plan and scale up to a paid one when we’re ready. The consent management product recognizes the same person across devices and channels, so we don’t need to collect consent in multiple places. It also lets us record consent based on the legal basis for each jurisdiction and enforces “do not sell” by default. The team has been very helpful, and setup was fairly simple; it took about half a day to get everything running. We’re very happy with the consent management product. Ketch brings teams together! That is the point of the platform in my opinion, teams like legal, privacy, digital marketing, marketing technology, etc. across your business. We implemented Ketch in April across our website, which is a large, multilingual WordPress site. Going in, I expected a few headaches, mainly because different countries and territories have different privacy requirements. In practice, the rollout was pretty straightforward, and what I’ve appreciated most is how easy it is to make updates without needing to involve our developers.

For instance, we weren’t happy with the original cookie banner, but we were able to switch to a simpler three-button version in about 15 minutes, with no dev time required. It was also easy to add additional sections of the site that weren’t included at the start.

Another standout feature for us is the automatic cookie detection. Ketch notifies us whenever new cookies appear, which is especially helpful when you have a large marketing team regularly adding tools and scripts. Before this, we were relying on people to remember to tell us, and that often didn’t happen, sometimes simply because they didn’t realise they needed to.

Not much with the tool itself. Our main issue came from our own rollout. Our signup page is a separate app from our WordPress site, and it couldn't see the consent people gave on the main site. Sometimes it’s hard to navigate the admin. There’s no visual indicator showing whether my account has access to a given feature, so I’ll often click into something thinking it’s available, only to get a notification that I don’t have access.

When working with GTM, it’s also unclear which actions automatically update GTM versus which ones require clicking “update tag.” For example, I asked your AI whether updating the Orchestration Status would update GTM and it said no, but it actually did. Also, when removing a GTM container it would be nice to be able to clear out the tags that were added from it.

Having a ballpark idea of when caches will clear would be helpful as well. Finally, I have access to the Ketch docs, but there isn’t an easy way to get from the admin to the relevant docs pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy and convenient the Admin is. Once I learned more about how CMPs work with Nick's help and from my coworkers/personal research, the Admin made a lot of sense. I like how we have full control over our CMPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The recommendation was to use the same generic 3 button template for all countries but it was a bit of overkill and would likely create more confusion if used in the US or Canada. It's great for GDPR though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Ketch is how easy it was to set up on our website as a self-serve product. We were able to get it up and running on our own, without needing a lengthy onboarding process or heavy engineering effort.
