I like all of the innovation that they're doing. I'm really looking forward to the AI capabilities allowing me to quickly access things like dashboards. I feel like when they roll out new solutions, they're not fully tested. With the AI, a lot of my feedback was negative because it wasn't actually giving me the correct answer. Kantata's user interface is clean and easy to use compared to clunky and generally ugly tools I've used in the past. I have access in one place for all of the time tracking needs and project management needs. I primarily use kantata for timesheets and project health tracking. I have not experienced any downsides of working with Kantata functionality. However, I would be interested to learn more about possible integrations and the AI / Intelligence capabilities. Being able to edit others' timesheets is very useful, and the interface is pretty straightforward.

Also, being able to approve a whole batch of timesheets or vacation requests with just a couple of clicks saves me a lot of time.

It’s the only system I’m aware of that covers both resourcing and revenue functions to the level it does. Having these housed in one place is extremely beneficial to our organisation. The benefits it offers for our internal reporting are significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For me, the biggest issue is the interaction with the customer service team. A lot of things that initially seem like simple system issues often end up costing us, even when the underlying problem is with the system itself. Because of that, the model can sometimes feel unfair. I’d like more support to be included in what we already pay, without feeling like we’re being upsold whenever we need help. The only think I dislike is the assigning people to projects and tasks and them not showing up in the timekeeping section all the time. Makes it difficult to put time to projects sometimes. However this might be a user issue versus a Kantata issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The visibility it promises is not the experience I have had. It should create more seamless visibility across scoping, tracking, budgets, and project progress. However, I have found it difficult to create dashboards, my team does not have the visibility they need, and the integration between functions does not perform in a way that actually equips me with real-time insights. The UI/UX is sometimes limited, we would like to be able to customize certain screens to display some key information. The integration capabilities are limited, particularly the ability to control objects via API (necessary to automate our processes with AI agents). The overall performance is decent for an ERP, except during the closing period where some jobs take too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kantata has removed the need for using multiple other documents to capture information so that there is a single knowledge source for capacity. It is easy to use and training new members of staff is not time consuming. Insights reports provide valuable information and are easily customizable. There are some features that are less intuitive than others, e.g. if you change a timeline on a task, you would assume that the scheduling would automatically reflect this but this does not always occur and needs to be checked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have quite a high project load on upcoming and ongoing, so it is useful to have all of the information for routings, project health etc. in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For filling out project health, it would be helpful to be able to have the list of projects and be able to work through this in one sheet rather than opening each individual project. I like the maturity enablement of my PS team that Kantata SX allows. With Kantata's accuracy of data surrounding forecasting, resourcing, and project financials, I am able to foresee any issues coming and take action.
