Kantata offers a solid range of features overall, but there’s room for growth when it comes to report customization. In my role as an accountant, I often need to generate detailed and tailored financial reports. Although the platform includes various templates and standard metrics, the customization tools can feel a bit restrictive or not as intuitive as needed for more complex use cases. At times, building specialized reports requires extra steps outside the platform or creative workarounds, which can reduce efficiency. Enhancing the flexibility of the reporting engine—or offering deeper integrations with advanced business intelligence tools—would significantly elevate its value for financial professionals who depend on granular, customized analysis. Not much - but that's less of a criticism of the platform and more of a product-market fit for my business. With our small delivery team, the configuration required a lot of administrative overhead, and many of the features weren’t relevant to our use case. The UX also felt dated and wasn’t very intuitive to navigate. Reporting was a challenge as it was difficult to create reports without our admin or without putting our team through administrative training. Based on our small use-case, the price was too high.
