What problems is JMT Consulting solving and how is that benefiting you?

If there was ever a company that DESERVED to go out of business, JMT Consulting IS that company! We hired them to implement our Sage Intacct software. First, they pawned us off onto a third party that CLEARLY had no idea how Sage Intacct works! Then it took them FIVE MONTHS to get our opening balances correct! They didn’t even set up our Dynamic Allocations correctly! To top it all off, they canceled our 14 month contract after only 7 months and we received ZERO TRAINING! Trust me, stay away from this company. They have NO IDEA what they are doing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Online support as if the person were right next to me"

What do you like best about JMT Consulting?

I liked best that the guidance that I received was very specific to my situation. I felt that the person was next to me looking at my PR . So the guidance was not just some generic blah blah but individualized assistance, very specific to my PR. This is when I quickly realized that they were able to see the PR that I had uploaded on the Intacct. I also love how quickly they responded to my initial query ( and all the questions or comments) that followed. What do you dislike about JMT Consulting?

This was my first experience with JMT although in the past I have had many questions about PRs and didn't know who to go to. We have our internal accounting/finance team but they are often very busy and I don't feel comfortable bothering them. Thus I went to JMT not knowing of the excellent support that I was about to receive. I had low expectations and truthfully speaking didn't expect to hear back from them so soon. What problems is JMT Consulting solving and how is that benefiting you?

I submitted two Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to the folks in our accounting department. From one I received the response that he could not see my PR. I didn't know what to tell him. i knew that to find the PR I have to click "show private". I didn't know what else to tell him since I don't often do PRs. He also asked me to change the NY Access to Top Access. I had done it at the top but under Entries it still said NY and I couldn't change it. Also, this person was coming from the accounting office. He was the one that needed to advise me as well as sign off my PR, not the other way around. So I waited a couple of days and heard nothing from that office. So I thought that it was sitting somewhere, not being moved. This is when I decided to email JMT. I am not sure if many people at my company call for support but they should. The support service that you offer is the best-kept secret! I got a Sam Kerr and he or she was able to provide me with excellent guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about JMT Consulting?

We have primary contacts but there are many other staff at JMT who can step in to answer questions if our contact is out in the field. They offer many other programs that could integrate with our GL, but don't push them if they aren't right for us. Cloud based customer service is very responsive. I see no downsides to using JMT. We could never afford the expertise on staff. With JMT we get that expertise and more for a fraction of the cost of an FTE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"JMT comes through"

In March 2020, the host platform for PPSO's accounting software was hacked. Even though JMT was itself affected by this problem, they did everything they could to keep customers advised of the situation and progress getting us back up and running and, when a new platform was available, they worked tirelessly to bring PPSO back online.
