It uses existing knowledge that you curate for the bot.  User friendly, easy to set up, and you can monitor conversations

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Sometimes it is difficult to choose correct manner in which to respond to a question (i.e. appropriate workflow).  I wish that ivy could respond to vague user asked questions with more questions to clarify what the user is looking for as often questions are not phrased well nor contain context.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

I appreciate how the chatbot’s scalability allows it to handle high volumes of questions without delays, ensuring students and employees always get quick support even during closures. The built-in chat history helps people easily revisit previous answers, reducing repeat questions and improving user confidence. Its multi-language support makes information more accessible to our diverse community, and seamless integration with Banner allows students to receive accurate, real-time information without navigating multiple systems.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The two-way messaging functionality still needs improvement, particularly because it requires too much manual intervention to send messages to students, making the process inefficient for staff. In addition, the chatbot’s analytics are not very user friendly, and some data cannot be exported, limiting the ability to track trends or share insights. The platform also offers very little customization in what data can be pulled, which makes it difficult to generate the specific reports departments need.

The chatbot has significantly reduced the volume of emails and calls, allowing staff to focus on more complex needs and ultimately provide better, more personalized service to a greater number of students.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Our chatbot through Ivy & Ocelot has reduced our email traffic by an average of 250 emails per month, and has had over 8000 conversations with our customers since implementation. This has freed up specialists to focus on more in-depth issues. The interface is very easy to use and implement on our website. Whenever there is an issue or updates with the chatbot the Customer Support team provides timely and efficient assistance.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The technology does update quickly, but that is to be expected considering the use of generative AI. I would appreciate a greater ease of use for sharing statistics with management.

The Ivy and Ocelot chatbot can answer customer questions during times of closure, as well as free-up specialists to deal with more complex issues.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

As the higher education environment continues to change, IvyQuantum products offer innovative solutions for students who are looking for rapid responses and active engagement. Their Chatbot solutions have allowed us to serve our students 24/7 using automatically generated answers to frequently asked questions. The software was easy to implement, and the support provided by the IvyQuantum team has been helpful in expanding the Chatbot capabilities. The Chatbot interacts with our students daily, and the integration to our current systems was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The only downside to our current platform of IvyQuantum is the inability to use full AI voice capabilities that go beyond the traditional phone voice recognition prompts. We have seen a demo by CollegeVine AI Recruiter and the capability of the AI Voice Recruiter is very impressive, especially as universities struggle to retain recruiters.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IvyQuantum is solving the problem of students who are looking for an immediate response to frequently asked questions. We serve a number of students all accross the world, many of them in India, and the ability for students to engage with our university during their time zone is crucial. We have also reduced the number of staff who are able to assist students live, and the Chatbot with LiveChat capabilities has allowed us to continue to serve our students without disruption. The analtyical dashboards are also helpful to show the usage and areas of improvement of our Bot.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The software is very user friendly. Finding what you need when you need it is relatively fast. Their knowledgebase is very thorough. They clearly know what schools need to get the work done right. Their customer support is really key in making it work.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Some of the things sold to us were not true. We were told it was WCAG 2.0 compliant, and our accessibility office found that wasn't so. It delayed our implementation for a few months, but we eventually got there. The way the bot reads our webpages it can get very confused pretty quickly (a person will ask "what is your deadline" and it will just randomly select the FAFSA deadline, not ask further questions). We've shored it up a bunch but all that work was done on our side.

We are innundated with emails and phone calls. So many of these are simple questions people should be able to get out of our website, but simply do not/cannot. The bot has been helpful so far in reducing this volume.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The product provides a great deal of information based on scanning, sweeping, scraping provided web links and sites to help answer questions. The intergration is simple and can be easily added with script provided. We use the tool daily on our website and if answers are not easily a ticketing system is provided. IvyQuantum has a quality team of professionals to assist in issues, provide trainings and are constantly working to improve and add new features.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Sometimes the information has to be guided or directed to get the best answer. The AI functionality is assisting in this. The product also shows you "gaps" in your information but things like institutional jargon and specifics sometimes takes a bit of training the system before becoming correct.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once we have installed, the email and phone traffic for simple questions has signifcantly decreased. This has allowed our staff to adjust time spent on more impactful tasks.

IvyQuantum has a robust team that has been helpful with the implementation of the service to our univeristy webpages. The team behind IvyQuantum and their support for our intiatives and objectives is the best part of the service.

Ivy Quantum requries many in-depth trainings for user accessibility, some members of my team do not have a background with data processing and has required extra training that has stalled the debut process.

IvyQuantum allows for a decrease of emails sent from in-coming and prospective/curious students that inquire about our institution. The chatbot is a central hub of information that can direct the users to the published sites with repsective information sources. IvyQuantum allows for our student/parent users to have a form of connection as they seek assistance in locating and discovering the resources available at Stevens.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The most helpful feature is letting IvyQuantum use it's database to quickly answer student questions. When Ivy doesn't have the answer, it quickly connects the student with a representative. It's also very helpful to transfer chats between departments which helps our students from having to reach out to multiple departments manually.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

One of the downsides to IvyQuantum is that we've noticed that when students ask the same question in different ways, Ivy sometimes gives varying answers that are not always correct. At times, it can be difficult to quickly correct that information.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being the front facing part of our University, IvyQuantum helps us manage the large number of questions we receive from students. This helps our staff address all student questions quickly and effectively.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

They reach out regularly with group training opportunities and will also meet with you individually to answer any questions you have. They are very accessible, and not all software companies are. We also have gotten some great insights into weaknesses and inconsistencies into our website because IvyBot's ability to automatically generate correct answers is directly related to the public content on your website. You can also create answers for the bot, but it's more efficient if your website is up to date. So IvyBot illuminates improvements needed and provides data to back it up. Very useful tool.

It's a bit confusing to navigate at first, but as I mentioned, it's very easy to schedule an appointment for 1:1 assistance. My contact helped me immensely and I felt much more comfortable with the product.

Is simple and easy to use, it is great for customer support, I had to use Ivyquantum every day which made it faster to know the program, and its many features help to better customers.

I think that its many features, even when they are helpful, it can be kind of confusing and one can forget all the features and tools. It can also be a little hard to get used to once you have used the old program.

Having used IvyQuantum both as an end-user and admin at an institution where it is in use, I can easily say that it has simplified and condensed what used to be so many systems into one whole package. It works well, it's still evolving and the support we have receieved from the teams behind IvyQuantum really make it what it is.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

As with any newer and still growing software out there, there are sometimes growing pains or issues you cannot resolve right away.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass SMS messages to thousands with scheduled and guided message sends. IvyQuantum brings together so many different platforms and services that we used to utilize and puts them into one service that works arguably better.

**What do you like best about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Customer service is great! And the chat itself has been great for lowering our overall email and call numbers. Easy to create a custom response when it is necessary. When something is broken or needs improvement, the Ivy team is very response to tickets and feature requests.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Pointing to answers when reviewing chats leaves a lot to be desired. The AI feature also is still hit or miss with answers, but I know it takes time to get those things more right than wrong.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lowering call and emails coming to our Customer Service team. Ability to get information to students when our office is closed. Translation features are great for our international student population!

IvyQuantum's site crawls are game-changing for our small, nimble team. This solution enables us to make real time changes to our sites without worrying about changing all associated intents and anticipating every iteration of how our information can be confused with older information. It's freed up our team to focus on more relevant interactions through the bots!

Not much, but the only hesitation that we've met is that all the people's work in managing old intents is now gone with the new integration.

I like the idea of asynchronous help for websites a lot, especially with an intuitive AI-based system.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

The bot itself looked visually ridiculous, but I think our marketing group made that choice. But the back-end interface for users to upload content was not user-friendly. It also started making things up~ I honestly wonder how much beta testing these products have with live humans (of the right audience of likely users for the bot) because I think with actual users in mind, the interface would be more people-friendly.

Students ask questions about stuff off-hours and we needed a system to provide that.

Ivy Chatbot does an excellent job of answering our customers' questions based on our large customer support knowledge base.  With over 2000 KB articles, we need a generative AI chatbot to help customers find the answers to their questions.  Ivy Chatbot consistently answers 86% of our customers' questions, with the remaining 14% directed to a live agent.  Ivy's customer support team has worked with us to customize our chatbot and integrate it with our ticketing system.  Ivy's customer support is excellent.  At our request, they have done additional work to improve their web accessibility.  Ivy's new reports provide extensive metrics that allow us to analyze what questions our customers are asking.  Based on that data, we can adjust our website to tailor it to our customers' needs.

Ivy needed to do some additional work to meet web accessibility standards, especially regarding keyboard navigation.  However, their customer support team worked with us to address these issues.

It's easy enough for non-tech people to navigate that I've been able to almost fully hand-off day-to-day operations to business staff. It has been well adapted due to easy of use.

Managing the more nebulous aspects behind the scenes, like the "understood questions" and more technical bot brain structure stuff can at times be somewhat complex. Everything with the chatbot is either very simple or very complicated, with little in-between. I expect this will improve over time based on my experience with Ivy. Regardless of the learning curve of managing the more complicated parts of the back-end, Ivy staff have been tremendously helpful with resolving any issues that we've had.

What is most useful of IvyQuantum is the active website crawling and NLP capabilities. It makes it easier for the chatbot to be managed than other systems. The texting feature is an excellent tool for communicating with students and our Ocelot representative, Nick Burrell, who works to identify creative solutions.

The software cost can be a bit high, but worth the price.

 Because much is not yet understood about the long-term health risks associated with extensive energy drink consumption, more research must be conducted to fuller understand the depth and breadth of the potential health hazards energy drinks can present. Furthermore, expanding the scope of populations, age groups, ethnicities, etc., researched will help provide a more comprehensive understanding of the true health impacts energy drinks have on the human body and the developing adolescent and young adult body.  This is especially important given that young adults, both in high school and college, are typically the group most likely to consume energy drinks to help battle fatigue during periods of final exams, or to help them gain an edge in their sports performance.

We reviewed multiple chatbot providers and found Ivy.ai to have the best bot. The best feature is that it crawls your website for information, and becomes smarter over time. Other bots we saw were designed so that you had to write the questions and answers yourself to make the bot smarter. We've also liked the reporting screens, as we've been able to gather data on how many people interact with the bot and what questions are being asked.

When we first started using ivy.ai, there were features we were under the impression already existed but they did not.  Fortunately, the Ivy team worked with us extensively on customizing the bot.

I really like that it is an easy way to speak with students. I really like the information forms they fill out prior to starting a chat with us that way I can pull up their account before they ask a question.

I dislike the fact that in order for us to go back and review a past conversation we have to export and download a spreadsheet that ends up giving us chats from other departments. It would be better if we were able to search chats by students names or their ID numbers instead of having to download a report.

I like the Chatbot Just in Time reporting I have access to.   
The Chatbot question submission process is efficient and questions get through the moderation queue quickly.
Heidi Verplank is an incredible help.  When I have a question she is always, without fail, quick and efficient in her responses. Additionally, Joel Laos has been a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

There is no monthly generated report for the ChatBot usage (like the monthly FATV report I get). I know I can go in anytime to look at the Chatbot data, but I like the way I can save the FATV report to pdf and circulate that report to team members.  I am currently saving Chabot reports to pdf myself, but the data gets cut up, pages split, etc. When I inquired about it, I was told that you do not offer (at this point in time) a monthly generated report like you provide for the GetAnswers video portal.

**Recommendations to others considering Ivy & Ocelot:**

Have all departments buy into the concept and stay on top of them as they are the SME's that will supply information/questions.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are finding out what students need in way of Admissions and Financial Aid information.  We are also able to see what else students need information about on a daily basis. It will help us determine the best way to get information out to students and how to better anticipate need for future knowledge bases.

I appreciate all the customizations available that allow me to cater the knowledge to our students, to best support them. I think we have been able to better service our students, direct them to our website, our application, or a live agent to chat!

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

Something that is confusing to my team is the lack of a 'save' button when updating intents. I wish there was a toggle for a working or editing mode and then we could save the updated intent once we are done working on it.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to provide better 'off-hour' support to our university students so they can get their questions answered at any time. I think this is a huge perk for our students!

I have had the pleasure of working with Ocelot for over three years. Our institution is the owner of Financial Aid TV, GetSAP and most recently, we implemented their latest product, the Ocelot Chatbot. The Ocelot team is fantastic! They are truly dedicated to students and have been there to support me every step of the way. One of the best parts about Ocelot products is the on-demand reports that you can pull at any time to see the value of the products.

**What do you dislike about Ivy & Ocelot?**

I do not have anything that I dislike about the products or the company, Ocelot. Ocelot is an organization receptive to ideas from financial aid administrators to ensure their products meet student and institutional needs.  Their products have been a game-changer for our students and the Financial Aid Office at our college.

**Recommendations to others considering Ivy & Ocelot:**

I highly recommend moving forward with Ocelot. You will see the value in using their product through the analytics you can pull on demand or that are provided monthly from the vendor.

**What problems is Ivy & Ocelot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All services have assisted our institution with removing barriers so that we can meet the students’ needs by providing access to financial aid information in a manner that resonates with students, 24/7, 365 days per year. Our students no longer have to wait in line to get their questions answered; leave work early to make it down to our office before closing time since they have the ability to review financial aid information when they need it, during a time that works best for them. In fact, 67% of interactions with FATV last month happened during the hours the Financial Aid Office closed and 20% of our chatbot questions and answers are happening outside of our college hours and we just launched a few weeks ago. Their products provide equal access to all students. In addition, Ocelot has assisted our office by providing bilingual services that we did not have previously. This ensures that parents and students have the information they need in the language they feel most comfortable with to make decisions related to attending our institution. I have spoken with many students across the campus and all have been pleased with the services we are providing with Ocelot.
