# Which mobile app debugging software is highest rated for app teams that need to ship iOS builds faster?

Hey G2 community, I've been trying to find which mobile app debugging software is highest rated for app teams that need to ship iOS builds faster, and the general developer preference rankings don't isolate the right signal. The question is which tool actually addresses the specific bottlenecks in the iOS build and release cycle, not just which one developers are happiest with overall.

Xcode (4.2 stars, 1,037 reviews): The complete iOS environment covering the full cycle from code to App Store with Xcode Cloud for automated builds and tests; reviewers who ship native iOS describe it as unavoidable, with indexing and build times on larger projects as the main sources of friction in the release cycle.

Bugsee (4.9 stars, 18 reviews): Automatic video and log capture that eliminates the reproduce-and-describe back-and-forth between developers and QA; reviewers describe the feedback loop closing in two seconds, directly shortening the fix cycle before a build ships.

Embrace (4.8 stars, 22 reviews): Production session and crash data that surfaces real user experience issues before they become blocking bugs in the release cycle.

Kobiton (4.3 stars, 39 reviews): Real device testing across iOS versions and device types from a cloud library, for teams whose release bottleneck is device compatibility validation rather than code debugging itself.

Chrome Mobile DevTools (4.4 stars, 81 reviews): Mobile web and hybrid app debugging with no install required; relevant for web-based iOS experiences, not for native iOS development.

<p>On the reproduce, fix, validate question: for most teams the answer is reproduce, by a wide margin, and it's worth confirming that with your own tickets before spending anything. A bug that says "sometimes crashes on checkout" costs a day of guessing, and that day is a communication problem, not a code problem, which is why video-plus-logs capture pays off so fast. But if you pull ten recent bugs and the time actually went to waiting on builds, no debugging tool fixes that. Slow Xcode builds are a project structure problem, and money spent here would be aimed at the wrong bottleneck.</p>
