GENEOS is a very good tool for monitoring and creating alerts for the entire IT infrastructure. It is very valuable especially in financial services platforms which have business crtical applications and having a real time monitoring solution like geneos is necessary. I like its ability to create custom scripts and toolkits to create our own dashboards, metrics and alerts. It has good documentation and support for timely resolution of issues. It can be integrated to various production grade applications easily and gives 'ease of mind' thanks to its reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me, the main thing I dislike about ITRS Geneos is its steep learning curve. The production management team/support team needs to be adequealtey trained on its features for utilizing geneos effectively. The UI is also legacy compared to the modern alternatives, the dashboards give a sense of archaic and could be more modernized and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
