So far, the best feature is being able to find record of items that Iron Mountain processes for our department for mailing. We need this information to verify that items are being mailed within contractual guidelines both with IRM and on behalf of our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is not the most user friendly and there is a lot of information to pick through to find what I need. Exporting information into Excel helps a bit, but it's still irksome that we are not privy to the main document ID/identifier IRM attaches to our items until after they are swept into their system. The aspect I'd say that could be improved the most is probably the ease of configuring document extraction rules. While the system is powerful, setting up templates or fine-tuning how certain document types are recognized can sometimes require more technical knowledge than expected. Making the configuration process more intuitive would help teams adapt to the system more quickly when new document formats appear. Another area that could improve is integration and real-time visibility, having an even more seamless integration with our internal systems along with clear dashboards or reporting and processing status. I use Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) primarily for dealing with invoices from suppliers. What I like most is that it significantly saves time when searching for multiple invoices. The system's intelligence is impressive, as it can locate specific wording down to a part number listed on the invoice, which our previous system couldn't do. In my experience, this product has not been efficient for our workflow. It does not integrate well with our process and requires extra steps that slow us down and protect productivity. I would love to see a solution that better aligns with how our team works and offers a more friendly user experience. The initial setup was not easy at all.
