The biggest value is how seamlessly it integrates with Intercom we can surface live status updates directly inside the Intercom messenger as well. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** Overall, there’s very little to dislike about Instatus in our use case. It covers our needs well for both our public status page (status.businessfitness.com) and integrations with Intercom, especially for incident communication. Maybe a nice have would be having more built-in monitoring capabilities **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Giving us the ability to have a unified status page that we can surface across the intercom chatbot. Our users can subscribe to outage/system maintenance updates. It calculates uptime for us and our users. and Our users can also see maintenance/past history. Setting up was great. We haven't really connected our endpoints to it since we track that using datadog but this was a great feature to have. ### 2. Good incident management with maintenances and templates. Many notification options available for subscribers. Lots of integrations with other monitoring tools. Free tier does not feel restricted at all as competitors (no component limit on free tier). **What do you dislike about Instatus?** The interface is clunky for batch edits, creating many components, etc. Editing past incidents can bug out the page. Components' status is managed via incidents, rather than directly updated. Loaded components per status page are limited. **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Centralized location for incident reporting, transparent downtime reports, notifications delivery. ### 4. What stands out is that the free version has many quality tools and helps my business a lot. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** Only details such as emails in English (before they arrived in Spanish), is not a dealbreaker, and they are always improving the service. **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having an organized status page, in a perfect way to inform all customers and not have to answer phone calls or emails! This makes you work faster and without wasting time! Onboarding is also seamless and they ship new features fast from what I've seen so far. The third party components on your status page is a nice feature I've not seen elsewhere. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** It took me a while to think of what to write, there's nothing particularly to dislike really, nothing is done bad, and it's not missing anything from the product I used to use. **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clear communication to end users, instatus does it very well. ### 7. They have several integrations with multiple products, perfect for any use case you might have. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** It is not as well-known as other products, so it may not receive the same kind of support that you would expect from a corporate solution such as Statuspage. Though it is still a perfect product, and they are adding more features fast and consistently. **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instatus helps us inform our customers of any downtime or planned maintenance we might have. I didn't found any problems so far !! As a feature request I would love to see the status page to update live without having to refresh it. They're beautiful and support custom HTML and CSS, many notification types (including webhooks, SMS, email, slack, etc), and support freshping for automation. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** I don't like that Instatus creates an incident for every automatic downtime report. I think it would be better if it registered the downtime without creating an incident (like statuspage does). **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instatus is my favorite solution for fast and customizable status pages, that keep your customers informed about potential incidents. It is by far the best Status Page service that I have used and the one where I have had the best experience. - Flexibility. Being able to be on multiple teams with various pages incredibly simplifies the ability to collaborate. - No-nonsense pricing. Just with the free tier, you are already levels ahead of other Status Page and monitoring services. The prices are locked in with a monthly fixed rate and aren't limited by growth. - A developer's best friend. You are able to customize the appearance of Status Pages without a paid plan and integrate its API into your projects. - The experience is amazing. Actions require minimal clicks to reach and the UI is straightforward and simple, not to mention beautiful. **What do you dislike about Instatus?** I don't have much of an argument for what I dislike about Instatus, it practically surpasses my needs. An area for improvement could perhaps be an improved way to edit the appearance of pages. Currently, you are able to edit the CSS although I'd hope that a more user-friendly option is also provided for individuals without development experience. **What problems is Instatus solving and how is that benefiting you?** My organization uses Instatus to monitor the uptime of our projects, bots, and APIs. We have noticed an uptick in the time it takes us to find and resolve errors, along with informing customers about incidents. Management-wise, Instatus acts as a central hub for all status information. ### 14.
