It handles the whole process, from data cleaning, adjusting for outliers and seasonal patterns, and variable selection (which factors to include in a forecasting model) to building and evaluating models, weighting models together based on performance for each time horizon, and scenario analysis to answer what-if questions. Indicio also supports multi-level forecasts, using information from all levels and reconciling the forecasts to align them and optimize them for accuracy. Models include: Time series models, econometric models, mixed frequency models, business cycle models, and product lifecycle models. Indicio also addresses the black box issue by incorporating layers of explainability, which makes the forecasts more transparent and easier to communicate across the organization. We're able to forecast things that have traditionally been very difficult to forecast, if not impossible. Through diligent work with both the team and the models, we've been able to find high quality results in those previously difficult to solve forecasts. **What do you dislike about Indicio?** It takes a minute to learn Indicio at first for new users. **What problems is Indicio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Indicio for deriving complex forecasts in mathematically acceptable ways, solving problems that were traditionally difficult or impossible, and achieving high-quality results. ### 2. You do not need programming or deeper statistical skills. You add your indicators and other data you have. Indicio shows you what indicators seems to be best and what will be used for the model. You can also add single event factors that will impact your analytics which is great. **What do you dislike about Indicio?** During the time when I tested, you could not add own models or code yourself in case you are a more advanced user. **What problems is Indicio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Forecast of demand to plan capacity in factory. Indicio provides you with a good forecast within a short time period. Excellent if you need to forecast for many different products/markets and have limited time ### 4. Wide range of time series models spanning from basic to advanced. **What do you dislike about Indicio?** The Macrobond interface is improving but could be improved by easier search functionality.
