In my work, I have used a combination of tools to handle dynamic routing, in case of Disaster recovery which adds an additional cost, for example AWS Global Accelerator and Route 53. During the failover from Datacenter to Disaster Recovery site, one has to update the DNS records or has to maintain a global DNS, in case of failover. To maintain a Global endpoint, we need to have an additional solution, but NS1 fixes the need for third party solution and is natively integrated for dynamic DNS and policy management.
