I wish there were an easier way to flip back and forth between the Teacher and Admin sides of PowerSchool. I teach a virtual course and have to take attendance and enter grades, but I also use the Admin side constantly. This is the least intuitive program I have ever used. It seems that every teacher in my school is complaining about how hard it is to use and manage. We always need to use tutorials in order to do something on power school. There is a big learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like receiving direct notifications when documents have been added, so I know when I have to update or complete something. As an educator, I have a massive amount of paperwork that needs to be completed on a daily basis. It is often difficult to remember everything on my to-do list. When I receive an email notification reminding me to complete a task on talentEd, it enables me to prioritize that task and ensure that the documentation is submitted. I would like the layout to be more modern. It seems a bit old and bland. Rather than having it broken up by tasks completed and tasks still to be completed, it would also be helpful to see which category certain tasks fall under. At times, there are a number of documents. Recently we switched our registration for professional Development to TalentEd and it has been a wonderful change. I can not remember what we had before but I do remember that it was not as easy as TalentEd is. I much prefer using this system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is terrible. The windows you are expected to type into are tiny and reminiscent of a 1992 Word Processor. It's difficult to review your work in the way it will look until you actually submit to your boss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
