**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

I find HungerRush POS makes a lot of things simple and easy, and it's intuitive to use. The program is pretty simple and self-planned, which I like. I've only used one other POS system at the store, and this definitely works better, not by a lot, but something better at least.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

I don't like how the loyalty menu on HungerRush POS pops up in the worst place possible, covering customer information which makes it hard to enter their phone number easily. The window covers the screen entirely, so you can't use it well. It's super annoying to have to write down someone's phone number to enter it on the same computer because the stupid thing doesn't let you move it. Also, the initial setup was not done properly, and they didn't show us how it worked right. They left as soon as they could.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are required to use it from the franchise we are part of. They also strangle most features so not sure what all it can do, we can’t in store use most of it.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

Our customer service reps are wonderful. The functionality and integrations are strong, and I really appreciate the focus on growth to help clients.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

The amount of “bugs” is burdensome. Both the software and hardware could be improved; it’s clear money is being saved by going with cheaper, less reliable products. The AI support is far from helpful or streamlined from a restaurant owner’s point of view. Support is inconsistent: either you get someone who knows a lot and is genuinely helpful, or you get a newer team member who just opens a chat with higher-level support and acts as the middle person. That isn’t efficient for anyone, and it makes it harder to resolve the call in a timely fashion.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HungerRush actively works to solve any problems that come up. What we’re happiest with is how they rolled out the new loyalty program.

It is simple to use. Everything in the Hub is all in one place making paperwork easier. Hardware is also updated and reliable.

The price is high compared to other POS brands. There are some bugs that we have had to learn to deal with.

Reporting helps me control my labor around when my sales are higher compared to slower times during the day.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

The ability to integrate into Google maps and the AI that exist in restaurant delivery for restaurants that are focused on delivery.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Some of the new add-ons spend a lot of time in beta testing and don't roll out very quick, and integration to third-party can take time.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's our primary POS software and it is our restaurant, food, delivery platform, it's fast and efficient, and it create routes and integrates into multiple different device devices for our delivery drivers which creates an ease for logistics.

Their bad-faith, deceptive auto renewal scheme. Had to learn about MySQL to be able to assist their low level techs.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When the product was working, it did function as expected. However, be prepared to spend time learning computer programming. Hungerrush ultimately became a headache for me.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

When it comes to ease of ordering on the employee side and customer side. HungerRush has most POS companyies beat. It has always been seemless for even the most complicated menu items like Pizzas. They tackle the right features in their menu builder without being over complicated.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Where HungerRush lacks is how they limit themselves. Without the availbility of integrations with other software and services, they fail to keep up with the growing market. From marketing to restaurant management, by trying to do everything themselves, they can not offer a great service in these areas. Where other POS companies can utilize 3rd party services with direct integration, they let the customers decide which services work for their restaurant.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HungerRush does solve the user ability as well as the menu build. From a full service / emloyee view, HungerRush is very user friendly. The time it takes for a new employee to be trained on HungerRush has been halved compared to previous POS. From a customer standpoint, their Online Ordering Platform is close to perfect. It is seamless and user friendly for all customer types.

HoneyComb/Loyalty has also been a great program for us. There are a few areas of improvement, but I have seen amazing success across all of our locations with their loyalty program.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

We own a succssful pizzeria called The "Original" JJ Twigs in a suburb of Chicago. We changed over from another very well known POS system on April 2023. As this is about being honest, our "Go Live" fell between the cracks as they were shifting how they bring on board/prep a new client. Things happen but it was how they reacted that has been the selling point. They circled the wagons and gave us full attention. The impact was I had to rely on Customer Support a bit heavier than I intended and I can say it has been nothing but exceptional- even after almost a year. Dylan Herzog is my go to support specialist and is nothing short of exceptional. 

The POS system itself is very easy to use and I have found that in many areas the way the software works is so much easier and less cumbersome than the prevuious systems we owened. The logic that runs the system processes are simplistic and very well thought-out but are also VERY effective. 

If you are searching for a product- you really have to give this a thorough look over and cosnideration.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Well, as I said, the install was a nightmare but this is not their norm. I was shown the new system that they were implementing when we "fell through the cracks" and I wish I could have this for my personal use. I highly doubt you willl experience the same. 

What else have I found to be lacking? I hate to say it but really nothing!

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came from a system that is very well known and if we were not a pizza place, I would likely would have stayed. HungerRush has a much better menu platform with respect to those restaurants that have more complex menus (think pizzas, breakfasts places....). Another area they excelled in was the delivery portion of the system. The interaction has enabled us to be much more efficient. Nights where I used to use 3-4 drivers (plus 3rd party integrations) I can run 2+. I have noticed that nights of very high sales are much more manageable with lower staff than all the other POS systems we have run.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

Hungerrush has been an integral part of my carry out and delivery pizza business for years. The system has everything we need and the user interface is super user friendly. 

The best part of HungerRush is it has given me (as an independent) to compete with the major franchises. The mobile app they custom built for my company has been a huge success. Customers love the built in rewards system and the smooth user interface. Having the mobile app took my business to the next level. 

Lastly my account manager Kelsey Manning has been amazing. Always has solutions for the ever changing pizza business ready to implement for me. 

Amazing service, amazing user interface for the employees and customers, and amazing mobile app. I look forward to using HungerRush for all my current and future restaurant needs!

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Nothing. The system is so robust it has a solution for my restaurants every need.

Hungerrush has allowed me to offer the same user interface to my customers as an independent as the big chains.

If you don't have the right sales rep or customer success manager there are a lot of pieces you can miss. The rollout and maintenance of your system seems to be lost in the shuffle after initial install.

We love that when you call tech support they are there for and dont have to call you back.  The delivery portion of the system is great and keeps my drivers organized.  Kelsey Manning is the Greatest!

Nobby in billing ever answers there phone.  Not to mention Im always getting weid charges.  Once agian if it wasnt for Kelsey Manning fixing all my problems I would of already left HungerRush.

HungerRush isn't solving anything but Kelsey Manning is. You guys should move her to an executive to control this whole company.  I personally like phone calls not portals.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

I like the consistent access to the Support team, the sleek view of the mobile and desktop app provided, the responsiveness of our Customer Success Manager (Rachel C), and the extensive reporting options the system offers.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

The Inventory system is not reliable and problematic. Some issues, especially in regard to Inventory, brought to the support team can not be solved. No access to hand-held tablets that function similarly to alternative POS companies. No ability to track pooled credit card tips for staff.

**What problems is HungerRush POS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cloud-based access for menu control is a great step forward. I hope the system works as well as promised. If so, it will make a huge difference for our Seasonal Menu launches and assist in inventory and recipe management in all of our stores.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

Easy system to use. Anyone with limited tech abilities should be able to operate and manage the system. Employees with limited to zero tech abilities can take a  nd manage orders. Tech support is second to none. Always there, and almost always resolves the issue on the first call. Anytime there is an issue, it is most likely due to user/human error versus an actual bug in the software. It is very close to being bullet-proof. Finally, the hardware is built to work in tough environments such as warm kitchens.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Not much to dislike really. The system is functional and focusses on being that more so than being modern with swipe capabilities such as a smart phone.

**Recommendations to others considering HungerRush POS:**

If you are serious about your business and looking for a great partner with a solid proven product, HungerRush is worth considering. I've been using HungerRush since 2015 and have never regretted it nor second guessed the partnership with them.

Order intake is easy in person, via phone, or online. It is all managed through the POS without having  a third party to interfere. It allows you to own and manage your customers.

Ability to design and update our menu as needed.  Support is great if there is an issue.  Cloud based is a benefit.

Like for them to integrate with 3rd party without having to go through another service.  Would like to have option to use a CC processor we choose

The overall system use has given us the opportunity to house all of the main components of a POS system into one place. The customer retention through the marketing 360 program is already having an impact in our stores.

No complaint so far. All of the on-site technicians have been knowledgable, helpful and have been great to work with when installing a new location.

The customer service and tech support are unrivaled. We chose HungerRush because of their experience working with pizzerias. We installed their platform, including online ordering, during the heart of the pandemic to capture carry out and delivery business. It was successful beyond our expectations.

During our install we had a challenge with one of our printers and they had to ship us that particular printer three times to make it work. (This is probably the printer companies fault but it was frustrating.)

The HungerRush's Online ordering platform now makes up nearly 30% of our business. During this time of a tight labor market having the phone ring less, but capturing more business is fantastic.

HungerRush has an amazing customer service department that is open 24 hours per day and their team really understands the pizza industry and our specific needs

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

The only downside I can think of is having to pay the monthly fees as we would all love for it to be free.

HungerRush is keeping us competitive with the big name companies in the pizza segment.   We couldn't possibly compete with the big 3 without HungerRush

Easy to use. Support has been awesome.  Any issues are solved quickly.  
Online ordering is easy for most customers. 
Polling information to our accounting system.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

With multiple locations, menu management is hard because you have to do each store separately when raising prices, etc.
Requiring to open cash drawers.  We have to call all the time for moving tickets to a different drawer.

We really like how Hunger Rush is always looking to bring in new technologies. We are looking forward to more integrations. We do enjoy the 'monthly check in meetings and the availability of our representatives.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

It is disappointing when we try out new products that are advertised to be very successful with other businesses (million dollar in sales) but there are many technical issues when we use it. Also, we are having to reach out to support for almost always the same issues.

They are helping us with being a good POS system and constantly looking to do better.

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

Ease of use. Integrated web and credit card processing. Good Technical Support team which is typically able to resolve issues first call.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

Poor product team support. Issues raised as defects, limitations not addressed. No communications on changes happening to the platform. We find out as we or our customers run into issues. Virtually no hardware support after warranty - default answer is to replace you $1500 terminal for something as minor as a failed $30 disk drive.

We required  a POS system that meets the our restauarant and delivery services need we had. Generally speaking the platform meets our needs, but lacks the refinement it needs to be a truly GREAT platform!

**What do you like best about HungerRush POS?**

HungerRush is simple and straightforward to use, yet extremely intuitive. They have great customer support and their Techs are allows available whenever we need them.
The UI is very pleasing to the eye and is very well designed down to the finest detail.
The system brings all my restaurant systems together into a single system making it so much simpler to do everything like ordering, inventory, scheduling, and accounting. As well as integrating with our Kitchen Video systems and our delivery dispatch system. I am just overall very happy with the system and all the work that went into design and creating it.

**What do you dislike about HungerRush POS?**

I would like HungerRush more if I was able to do more complex customization. The system sometimes has a more fill in the blanks structure that will just not work for some situations.

HungerRush does seem to have a problem interfacing with Canadian Debit machines, a problem that ever their own techs say is flaw that is being fixed.

**Recommendations to others considering HungerRush POS:**

If your looking for a system that can do it all, everything from inventory, to ordering, to scheduling, to payroll, to accounting and will require very little time and money to setup and maintain, then you should really consider HungerRush. I promise you won't regret it.

HungerRush allows us to consolidate are different systems (debit/ credit, delivery, ordering, Hr, etc) into one cohesive system.
Before HungerUsh we used to have to do all our orders and accounting on handwritten checks, but now it has allowed us to have an all in one system that not only saves time and money, but also many trees

The software is kind of hodgepodge on the Management side. Needs to be more streamlined. All like services together.  I.E. all things delivery should be in one area. 

Also when customers ordering online they get confused with having to choose  pickup, then choosing Web Pickup or Curbside Pickup, then having to hit the submit button that isn’t easily visible.

Also would like the scheduling to offer a few more options.

The willingness to try and resolve the issue. I had three phone calls with support techs of varying amounts of experience. While the issue wasn't resolved until the fourth call the techs were all more than willing to explore all avenues available to them.

The system itself, but I doubt that there's anything as intuitive out there. There will always be bugs I don't mind dealing with them for the customer service.

It is very easy to use, especially in the food industry. Easy to clock-in and take order with. Easy to generate reports with as well.

Sometimes it can be confusing for managers when using it. For example adjusting time clocks can sometimes be difficult. Also it has old delivery addresses saved and needs a tech to come and do an upgrade to get new addresses for deliveries.

It practically was the whole platform for a pizza restaurant. We used the system for a POS system, clocking in system, online food ordering system, and much more.

I work in a pizza store and like how easy it is to use. As a manager the functions are easy to use and learn and simple with no problems.

It's hard to see the quantity number and I prefer to re order double orders. The quantity should be highlighted or blinking.
