## Guidebook Reviews
 ### 1. Simple App, Great Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saba M. | IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Ease of use with setup and the different functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Limited capabilities, such as customizing the app's branding.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminating the need to print programs and other things for events.

 ### 2. Excellent product with outstanding customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The Guidebook team has been very helpful throughout our journey with them, and has always provided the answers we needed at the time. The product is robust and is well thought out for the market it is part of.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The biggest downside is that this is not a cheap product. It can be difficult to balance the cost versus the gain, as the gains are not necessarily quantifiable.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook provides the visitors to our largest events with a complete package of communication, scheduling, mapping, and information all in one app. We can publish real time updates and make changes on the fly that our visitors will see immediately. They also allow for more interactive features to engage our visitors and guide their activities.

 ### 3. Guidebook is a MUST for conference or large scale event planners!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook is very user-friendly and intuitive, both on the back-end for event planners & front-end for users/attendees. Our use of Guidebook has allowed us to almost do-away with the printing costs of our event program and most importantly, provided us with valuable user data which helped to inform future programs. We have fouund the sales relationship to be easy, pleasant and professional over the past 4 years we have used Guidebook. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Our use is in higher education, and having integration with Slate and other popular inductry IT would be helpful in the future.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting our target client (teenagers) where they are - on their iphones AND helping us meet institutional goals in sustainability (not printing thousands of programs).

 ### 4. Beat guide app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Destinee C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The most helpful thing about the guidebook app is using the schedule feature and also being able to reuse guides.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

There isn't a way to reuse content from custom lists, if there was a way to drag these from guide to guide and also an easier way to utilize picture and video on the app.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting people information and fast

 ### 5. Thorough and Professional Event App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tona R. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Creating an event app is easy to do. It's easy to customize the sections. Our event attendees can find what they're looking for. We've received positive feedback about Guidebook from our attendees, and have had great adoption rates. The Guidebook team is always very responsive to our needs. I find it easy to solve my own challenges through Guidebook's publshed resources.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

There isn't much I can think of that I dislike.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook is providing event attendeees with a one-stop resources for event information including venue maps, agenda, speaker profiles, specialized information about our content, and more. We joke throughout our event that instead of asking a question, first #CheckTheApp, because the answer is likely there!

 ### 6. Networking made easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

1. It's very easy to clone and build a guide to how you need it to function, such as adding multiple tabs for exhibitors, general information, FAQs etc. As we have multiple exhibitors, it's great to be able to share a link with them to update their information within their custom list. It helps me a lot!

2. The ability for us to collect lead data (if attendees have their QR Codes) at our events using preset schedules has really changed the way in which our events are managed and promoted, as it means we can analyse the data and use it in future campaigns post-event, as well as providing those lists to the exhibitors, which helps them MASSIVELY when looking to contact a business post-event! As a user, once you're in the app, it's very user-friendly.

4. Elaine is a GEM! We have had some great help from the wider customer support, however, Elaine is typically the one on the other end of tout emails, and she's been so patient, understanding and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to supporting us and the app.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

1. You can't bulk upload email addresses when adding attendance managers.

2. We use the QR Code as a ticket to get into an event. If you don't have your 'ticket', you unfortunately can't get in until we have exhausted all the options we provide to help them get into the app to get to it. If, for any reason, they can't get access to the app, it would be great if we could send the QR Code of a user directly to their inbox as a PDF/PNG/JPEG. Maybe this is a last resort option, but the ability to click the 'cog' next to a user's information after adding them to a guide and then click 'Send QR Code' or something along those lines, would be extremely helpful. The app, for us, is great, but it's more of a nice to have; our main concern is that the users can access their QR Codes easily to ensure our exhibitors can scan them into their lists to collect lead data.

2. It's really not too easy for people who haven't used/logged into the app before to get into the app. Going back and forth between emails is a long-winded process, especially if you're not tech savvy or are using a different mobile to the one that may be receiving the emails. I think it might be worth exploring a shift in how it is advised users log in. For example, for invite-only guides, admins can invite users to download the guide as normal, and then if a user hasn't logged into the guidebook app before to download a previous guide, they "create" an account, and then they'll be able to log in and access the guide to download. If they have already logged into the app before, they're advised to log in using their existing credentials and ensure the app is up to date to the latest version to be able to download the new guide.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently the huge images we seem to be seeing on the invite emails when received in Outlook Desktop, and previously looking into the the whole issue around accessing the QR Codes more easily. The last update I received on that was that the idea of badges may be coming into play. I'm interested to see what this process would look like.

 ### 7. Helpul

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keegan O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

What I like is that it keeps a lot of important information all in one place. Its is fairly simple to implement and the customer support is flawless.

Anytime I had a question I was able to get a response promptly.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Overall great product. I think there are some tweaks that can be made to navigate easier. There are some processes and features that could be streamlined a little more I think.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was able to provide all of the important information that our attendess needed all in one easy place.

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> Hi Keegan,

 ### 8. Easy to use, professional format

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Ease of use and can be used by anyone despite their level of comfortability with technolgy

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Wish some of the end user app features were available on the web version

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest is to offset our printing costs and give attendees real time updates

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Guidebook. We understand your feedback about the web version and will work to improve the user experience across all platforms.

 ### 9. Great Experience, and use it for all of my events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

I really like how user friendly the app is for both staff building it, as well as for the attendees to access and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish there were more features, and it integrated with our registration platforms.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook has allowed us to go completely paperless at our events, which is not only more sustainable, but has taken the leg work out of program printing and design. It's reduced shipping costs and labor onsite as well. As an event planner I'm able to control the content in real time that my attendees are receiving.

 ### 10. Wonderful tool for our conferene attendees.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook has been a great way for our confererence attendees to have access to the event schedule, speakers, exhibitors and more. It has saved us from printing and distributing paper copies which only end up in the trash later on.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

For our virtual attendees, it is a bit tedious that they have to click a link to view the live and subsequent recording of our conference courses to be taken to Zoom where they have to log into a separate Zoom account as well. It would be helpful if they could view the video in Guidebook itself and if we had a way to verify on the backside of who was watching, and if they watched for the duration, etc.

The other area we would like to see improved is a voting option that was more secure in which we could confirm that each attendee only voted once, not able to change their vote after submission, etc. yet still kept their vote anonymous on our end.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As noted earlier, Guidebook is helping us to make our events schedule, speakers, exhibitors and more available to all of our attendees - in person or virtual. While our members are a little slower at using the chat and photo album areas, that does help to connect our attendees with eachother as well. It saves on printing costs and subsequently environmental impact of printed programs and information pieces being tossed after the event. Our exhibitors also appreciate that they can have a link to their website within the description area for their business.

 ### 11. Comprehensive Con Compendium

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Everything is laid out in a logical way. The Guidebook is capable of being updated by the Con hosts, so you can start your schedule planning early.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish it had been made available a little earlier. I wish there was a cross index of vendors, so that all of the model vendors would ve listed in one section, all of the cosplay vendors in another, etc.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Listing of event participants and schedule of events and venue maps.

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you find the layout of our Guidebook logical and easy to navigate. We understand your feedback about the timing of availability and the cross index of vendors, and we will take this into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

 ### 12. Guidebook is a good, versatile application with a few quirks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Our organization has used Guidebook for many years to support our annual convention. Once you learn to use the uploader system it is a powerful way to communicate information to our attendees in a way that downloads to their phones before the convention and only uses bandwidth for last minute updates. We liberally use linkages, graphics, and maps to enhance the convention experience and get great feedback from our members.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The system has a few quirks when you're learning to use it. Fortunately the online guides are helpful and support staff are responsive.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our up-to-date guide which we use to communicate last minute additions and changes.

 ### 13. Efficient, user-friendly experience for first-time users!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

How user-friendly the interface is, in addition to how much informaiton is available to help guide users. Customer support is always available when needed.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

A bit more personalization when it comes to tagging.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A scheduling platform for our admitted students that is easy to understand. We are able to easily import information, in addition to edit things on our own. With other platforms, things seem clunkier, with Guidebook its easy to be able to work on things and ask questions when needed.

 ### 14. Guidebook is a MUST for your next conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonja S. | Director of Communications & Digital Ministry, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The ease of constructing our unique Guidebook.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Not everyone will use it at your conference.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to have a paper guide and being wasteful. Everyone loved you can interact digitally with each other even before or after the conference.

 ### 15. Guidebook is a Well-Rounded Networking App

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Really enjoyed the flexibility around networking. The proces of building an event is incredibly easy, and the Guidebook team is great. They are very responsive, and knowledgeable about the product.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Biggest downside was the lack of data around meetings. Currently, there is no way to know how many meetings were accepted, rejected, or pending during the event (even in aggregate). However, the Guidebook Customer Support team was able to share some very general aggregated stats that were helpful.

Additionally, there was a bug about 1 week before our event that meant users could not see if their meetings were accepted, rejected, or pending. This basically meant no one could use the app to schedule meetings (which was the point of the event).

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a networking app for our conference series.

 ### 16. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Keeps me informed with all activities during the Conference

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Nothing to dislike, it is an excellent resource.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of not having paper to carry saves trees!

 ### 17. Quick and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

It's easy to access and a very useful tool

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I have no negative issues about this tool

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manageable for registration of workshops.

 ### 18. UI is great for end user, but challenging for admins

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Britany C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Once/if you can get the Guidebook to show up for attendees, it's easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The backend is circuitous, publishing is complicated and in multiple places. UI for admins isn't streamlined. Nothing is easy like it should be with manipulation of different users and groups. And how is it not possible to duplicate events in the schedule?

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's creating more challenges than it solves. It gets our members information, but we'll be going back to an app that is far easier to build and administrate.

 ### 19. A Great Way To Keep Attendees Informed, Updated and Engaged

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanley C. | Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

It's simple to use since our target demographics are college students, the app is something that they can download and use quickly. The ability to update changes on the fly is great and we have moved away from printed schedules.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Not specifically a dislike, but having Guidebook integrate with other systems my university like Slate would be ideal

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The late and last-minute changes that were a big issue when we had printed schedules have been alleviated with Guidebook. Also, this is friendly to the environment.

 ### 20. Belle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Easy to navigate, from place to place. Easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Nothing to worry about, it's, has no issues.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigate to what I'm looking for and helping me out with finding out what I need.

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Guidebook easy to navigate and use! We strive to provide a user-friendly experience for all our customers.

 ### 21. Increasing Resource Usage through Guidebook

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The most helpful parts of guidebook are the ease of use - it is a great tool for building out resources whether it be for a singular event or a long term project. The implementation process is very smooth, and our account executive was always providing an incredibly high level of service. I particularly appreciated how easy it was to brand your app and make it look like your company. It's been a great tool for us.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I have no downsides to using Guidebook. There is a lag time for posting your app to the app store, but this is not at the fault of Guidebook.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to share resources for our constituent groups for specific events and semester long projects.

 ### 22. Easy access and set up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Easy access and set up for guidebook. Great

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Nothing to dislike with guidebook. Good move

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beneficial for scheduling

 ### 23. I use it for all our conferences and meetings!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook is incredibly easy to set up and use. I know that I can have a working app and program for our conferences, big or small, in a matter of hours.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Some features I'd like to use are limited behind an annual fee, which is a bit too high for my budget.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to get rid of all printed paper schedules and use something more eco friendly. It also gets people information in advance of the meeting in a better format

 ### 24. Fantastic

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Keeps us updated on conference activities and networking platform

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

There's nothing I don't like about Guidebook

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is positively benefing me

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We are thrilled to hear that Guidebook is keeping you updated on conference activities and providing a networking platform. We are delighted that Guidebook is positively benefiting you. If you have any suggestions or need assistance in the future, please feel free to reach out. We are here to help and ensure you have a great experience with Guidebook.

 ### 25. Easy to use, and easy to integrate mobile scheduling app for events of any size and scale.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter O. | Operations Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Rapid schedule event loading. You can use either CSV or MS Excel as a data loader. Our hobby organization has used it for 11 years now on top of two event registration systems. Guidebook basically takes the place of our printed show program (which is nice to have but very bulky) and allows anyone who has a smart phone to be able to maintain their own schedule, get notified of when the next event in their schedule is coming up, and take notes on the things to do for their day. Guidebook is the complete package and it's only getting better every year.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Increased monetization of features that were very recently free. For example, color coding tracks so I could color code event categories. Now I can't do that without a very high price jump. My text-based workaround is quite labor intensive-- I have to explain how to find events to the users every show. Also the pricing structure used to be more adaptable to our needs; now, Guidebook charges either one flat fee for a year or a metered rate with fewer functions.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm an event planner for a hobby society. We have a variety of different event types and classifications from various sources that have to integrate into a single guide quickly. We see to publish a very expensive paper book for every show. Now we are moving away from this practice and transitioning to electronic guides. Our last show, Cold Wars, we gambled on printing a significantly lower amount of printed guides. We ran out by Saturday. Guidebook was our fallback position and the attendees loved it.

 ### 26. A Game-Changer for Event Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Creating our app and adding event information through the interface was incredibly user-friendly, and they offer comprehensive guides that walk you through every step. Sharing the app with our users and guiding them to set up their schedules was a seamless process. The customer support team was very resposive when we came across any issues while setting up and using the app.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

We came across a couple of minor bugs while rolling out schedule updates, but fortunately, they had minimal impact on the overall user experience.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook solves problems related to efficient event communication and user experience. These solutions have greatly benefited our institution by streamlining our event management processes, enhancing user satisfaction, and optimizing our budget allocation.

 ### 27. So much easier than Whoa!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Full disclosure: I do not work for Guidebook! We used Whova for our 2022 conference, and it was frankkly overwheling. Guidebook gives you just what you need to optimize the attendee experience.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

My only dislike was the limitations on photos and grapics. Many of the sponsor logos did not fit correctly in the specified dimensions.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Major communication tool for attendees to access the full schedule / agenda, connect with colleagues and friends, and navigate the overall space.

 ### 28. Director of Academic Affairs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Easy to use, but requires full answers. Why not multiple choice answers.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Requires multiple answers. Can be time consuming

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning our activities

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We are glad to hear that Guidebook is helping you plan your activities. Your feedback on the format is valuable, and we will use it to enhance the app's functionality for your benefit.

 ### 29. Simple to use app that checks the boxes for us!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Simple to navigate. Bulk uploads are easy, though tweaking/adding can be a bit time consuming. We have used the app for a few years and the consistency is nice for members. Nice that there's a non-profit and multi-year discount. Reps are responsive.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish the the evaluations/surveys had better integrated analysis tools. As it is, I have to export to Excel and do my own data manipulation.
Wish the upgraded version wasn't so much more expensive.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer offer a full program book. Guidebook contains all of our program information and more. We can also link to a video recording of our conference orientation and we can integrate session surveys into the app.

 ### 30. Guidebook is a great tool for conference organization and management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Associate Professor and Director of First-Generation Initiatives , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook is very user friendly and easy to implement. Customer support has always been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish some of the tools were a bit more customizable and I wish that the survey options were a bit more robust (specifically when it comes to extrapolating the results).

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to eliminate the use of a printable program for the conference. It also allows us to communicate with all conference attendees in an easy and efficient matter.

 ### 31. User friendly app with exceptional customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Thsi is our first year using the app for our conference. Our attendees has nothgin but amaing this to say about how great the app looked and how user firendly it was. On the backend it was just as intuitive with helpful guides and easy to set up features. Not only that but the customer service of the guidebook team was unmatched!

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The only feed back I had is that I wish the app made users create a profile inorder to use the features so that we could collect better data.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped make an app extreamly user friendly, escpcially for our event attendees that arent as tech savy!

 ### 32. We've used it for years and always get great feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

It's easy for back end administrators to build and prepare, but also pretty easy for attendees/users. We feel like Guidebook is always trying to improve and add new features.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The cost, even for the one that is 'canned' within the guidebook system - is pretty high. (I can't think of the term for when our guide is inside of Guidebook).

Also - some things that are ot dislikes, so much as wishes for more features and services that would really help us:

1. Even better linking - especially when people or attendees exist in multiple custom lists. You can manually link, but when you search, a name may come up four or five times - and you don't know what the source list is without clicking on each record individually.

2. Allow attendees to download some sort of "record" or certificate of the sessions they attend. Our attendees need to document what sessions they go to in order to earn credits. We cannot get away from paper programs because the Guidebook app doesn't give our attendees any way to download or document their personalized schedule.

3. More sophisticated gamification and attendee engagement. This is a big area for improvement -- there are so many things Guidebook could do with this, but as far as I know, it's still the super simple "complete a phrase by clicking on QR codes"

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to provide attendees with the latest schedule, speakers, attendees, exhibitors and such. We used to have to reprint programs, or "addendums" because of last-minute changes. It also allows us to cut back on costs for printing, and how much paper we are handing out at events. It shows our members that we are trying to provide a more streamlined experience. It also allows us to engage with our attendees when they come up to the registration desk - because they need help downloading or using the guide!

 ### 33. Easy to use but limited on features without upcharging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The platform is very easy to use and was able to be downloaded and logged into by most users. We like that it was a standalone product in the Play and Apple stores, even if we did have to pay for it.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Everything was an additional cost. There was a lot of back and forth with the support group and asking the same questions over and over. There aren't many built-in features, almost everything was an add-on or on another tier. We used this app for our largest event and the cost of the app hasn't outweighed the trouble of getting it off the ground. We signed a two-year deal so maybe next year will be easier but overall I would say our experience was mediocre.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved away from a printed program for numerous reasons (cost, sustainability, more accurate information) and this allows our attendees (who download the guide) to have the most up-to-date information on their phones

 ### 34. Excellent Conference Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Our organization has used Guidebook for the last six years and have been very pleased with the platform and its functionality. It is easy to set up and edit and our members love it. Additionally customer service is OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend this platform!

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I have nothing that I dislike about the platform! Great app.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Members now have schedules on their phone and we no longer print a conference book. Less waste and much less money!

 ### 35. REVEIW

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

it was user friendly, liked that speakers and exhibitors could set up their own profiles

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

had some trouble understanding it at first but once I got hthe hang of it I felt it was easy to navigate

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mobile app, organizing event details

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you found Guidebook user-friendly and that it helped speakers and exhibitors set up their profiles. We apologize for any initial trouble you experienced, but we're pleased that you found it easy to navigate once you got the hang of it. Thank you for sharing your feedback!

 ### 36. Summit organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

It's easy to use, clear options, nice colors.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

At first getting started and having to log in again to take pictures.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing people from around the country

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Guidebook easy to use and visually appealing! We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy using our product.

 ### 37. Incredible Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Our organization admires the continued support, guidance, and suggestions from the Guidebook team throughout our year. It's nice to know that help is just an email away. We also appreciate that they check in on us rather than waiting for an issue to arise.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

We do not have the staff to fully commit to understanding the various features of Guidebook, so at times, it can seem overwhelming. But we know we can always reach out for support.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of our event attendees expect an app. Guidebook makes that a reality for us - and it's ease of use both for our admin and participants is great!

 ### 38. Guidebook apps for conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Super easy UI and great customer support

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Not as flexible to customise as other app builders but this isn't an issue for our requirements

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to reduce our paper printing and environmental impact whilst still providing our delegates with event information and networking opportunities.

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you find our UI easy to use and that you've had a great experience with our customer support!

Nathan

 ### 39. Great conference app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gena C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Very customizeable, great look and very easy to use - bonus, great customer service if you need help

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I haven't found a down fall yet. It may be good if the speakers could upload vidoes on their own.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GB provides an updated look and feel to an easy to implement (administrators) and use (attendees) app at an affordable price for our conferences

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> Hi Gena,

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review.

I wanted to let you know of a feature we released last year that allows our builders to invite a speaker, sponsor, or other guide collaborator to edit their own page of content, they can now add videos and links.

I have included a link to our how-to on our collaboration portal which shows you how to utilise key collaborators to fill out their own information.

If you have any other questions please let us know.

Thanks,
Nathan

 ### 40. Guidebook Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

I like how easy it is to set up. Once we initially set up our app, we have been able to replicate that each year. It has made it super easy!

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I would like to see a little more options at the $5 per user level. I feel like the "extras" offered at that level have declined over the last few years.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an affordable app to replace our paper agenda for our annual conference. This is a great option.

 ### 41. Good conference app

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

We had good customer support throughout the process. I like the possibilities, customization, and general look and usability of the user experience.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish it had a dark mode for admins especially. I've used other event platforms and they have more custom options for the admin experience.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook assisted us with having an event app for our conferences throughout the year. This hugely benefited the attendes with everything from conference maps, schedule, speakers, exhibitors, raffle prizes, receptions, wifi codes and more.

 ### 42. It was good.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Very good device for meeting people and going to conventions.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish it had a web app that worked like the phone appp.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signing up for conventions.

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're glad to hear that you found Guidebook helpful for meeting people and attending conventions!

 ### 43. Great Conference Coordination

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook has so many great features! I love the interactive maps, the networking features and the customer service. I have no complaints and nothing but great things to say. It's super easy to use and easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I have no issues. The only time I've ever had trouble, it was user error and customer service got me taken care of.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great way to get sessions organized and to let attendees know where they are going.

 ### 44. My company used the guidebook app for our B2B event. It was very comprehensive and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Very user friendly and incredible staff support

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

The data import was a bit complicated at the beginning

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensure networking during the event and interaction of participants

**Official Response from Nathan Meyer:**

> We're delighted to hear that you had a positive experience using Guidebook for your B2B event! It's great to know that you found the app user-friendly and received excellent support from our staff. We understand that the data import process can be challenging, and we're continuously working to streamline it. We're pleased that Guidebook helped ensure networking and interaction among participants at your event. Thank you for choosing Guidebook, and we look forward to supporting your future events!

 ### 45. Guidebook was great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

Guidebook is very user friendly and it is a great interactive app for our attendees!

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I personally had issues receiving the notifications on my own phone, but probably user error :)

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is beneficial for our attendees

 ### 46. Guidebook is amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry S. | Director of Public Service and Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

The ease of development and the customer service/help you get from Guidebook staff.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Really no downsides. Everyyear they keep modifying and adding new items to their app. based on feedback from users.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Utuilizng technology and being able to update immediately items occurring at the event. Also helps to lower usage of paper for printed materials. Saves money.

 ### 47. We've used Guidebook for 5 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie A. | Senior Director Operations - New Franchise Program, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

We've used Guidebook for 5 years as our Annual Convention App. It's great as our users (600+) can easily download and access the app while at the convention. From the backside, it's very easy to setup and load agendas, logos, etc...The Guidebook team is very responsive and supportive.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Would like to see them continue to add more "robust-ness" to the backside.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer have the expense and manpower required to prepare and print paper agendas, etc for our convention. And, it's really easy to do on-the-fly changes and live audience polls.

 ### 48. Great app but room for improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

How easy it is to build and edit, ease of use for the end user. The support in setting up, team is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

I wish there was a package for 1 yearly fee for unlimited (or X amount) guides. Could use a few more features or enhancements for features already available

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this time we only utilize Guidebook for our annual leadership event which is a 4-day event with many activities going on. Solves us communicating via email and push app noticiations to communicate with guests on-site.

 ### 49. Great Experience, Everyone in my Company loved using Guidebook!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

I loved the customization, sharing capabilities and instant messaging.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

Nothing comes to mind. We got everything we needed from guidebook and more.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidebook allowed our team members to share pictures of the event, talk to each other, find contact information and stay updated to the minute for event changes.

 ### 50. Great Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Guidebook?**

It is very handy, everything is just at your finger tips. All information for the event can be put on guidebook for guests to access. The administrator interface is not difficult to use, I can still use it without any problem.

**What do you dislike about Guidebook?**

It is bit difficult to find information or nstruction on specific function you need. usally need to read a long para. for the instruction needed.

There is a group(?) function that administrators can send message to a group of users. wanted to use it, however, every body needs to register for guidebook and then we need to identify who is who. It is a lot of work for an event with big scale like us.

**What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

to provide on site information and latest update to users
