There is currently limited customization beyond adding company branding. I would appreciate more control over elements such as layouts, visual styling, transitions, and how content is presented. The best thing for me about Guidde is how easy it is to use. We’ve used it to capture content from mobile apps, SaaS systems, desktop systems, as well as from MP4s, PowerPoint, and Word documents, and each one has been straightforward and intuitive.

I also love the AI functionality that listens to and reads content, and converts it into a guidde, saving hours of time in content creation. We’ve received great support from our CSM too, with regular check-ins, updates on new functionality, and quick turnaround times for any queries or troubleshooting.

From a performance perspective, I really value the insights offered both overall and at an individual content level. This has helped us refine how we create content in terms of time and subject. By far, though, one of my favourite features is the playlist function. It makes sharing content with our contractor fleet and clients at all levels quick and efficient, and it enables individuals to self-serve and find what they need most. I have been using Guidde in my workplace for about 2 years now, and in those 2 years it has continuously been improving, it is constantly adding features as they grow. In my department, we are making videos to help with all topics, procedures & practices that we use daily and have started making videos to help our hotels as well. Each slide/blank can be customized however you would like it: sounds, voices, backgrounds, motions, etc. When support was needed, they were just an email away and responded very efficiently. What once took hours—or even days—to produce can now be completed in minutes. The biggest challenge has been the initial learning curve around some of the more advanced editing and branding features. While creating a basic guidde is incredibly fast, achieving a highly polished, custom result can require some experimentation. I like that guidde creates both the tutorial visual PDF version and a video at the same time. It would have taken me a lot longer, many, many hours, to make both of those assets, and guidde creates them both in just minutes. We have our LXP where we house these videos and tutorials, and it has allowed us to build out a library while making sure those assets are updated with as little effort as possible, while still maintaining quality and branding. The initial setup was relatively easy; we just had to upload the items of our brand kit, like colors, fonts, and logos, which was pretty simple, taking maybe fifteen to twenty minutes tops, if that. I think being able to superimpose assets or images onto our screenshots could be a little easier. And I also think that if I forget to record a step, or if I don't like the step that I recorded and I need to redo it, I shouldn't have to start a whole new guidde Recording to do that, I should be able to just hit add and be able to record that one step. At first, we found that the editing process could be a little time consuming, but as the product has evolved and we've gained more experience with it, we've been able to significantly reduce the time required for editing. I would say that the AI still doesn't interpret certain elements perfectly, but this remains a very minor issue since we prefer to customize some of the content manually anyway.
