The option to have mutiple datastream helps in data managment. All payload have the neccesary information to identify and segregrate the devices. Extending from Google PubSub to Iot Core was easy since Pubsub is used under the hood of iot core for datastreaming **What do you dislike about Google Cloud IoT Core?** Certain features like device state have a throttle limit of updating only once per second. If your device tries multiple times within a second, then the connection is dropped. This becomes a pain as you have to ensure that the device is not reporting state while it's offline and doesn't send all the state messages at once when the device goes online. **What problems is Google Cloud IoT Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** Building a Cyber-Physical System to keep check of drinking water in a building and using iot core to configure and automate tasks in the building. It is a complete set of tools that helps connect and store information and it is fully managed by cloud services. Savings of up to 57% without up-front fees or instance-type lock-in. You can pick any configuration of CPU and memory to save up to 48% compared to fixed machine types from other clouds. I like that you pay for services as needed, you save money and can focus on innovating. There are no termination fees so we can stop paying for services the second we turn it off. That helps the business by saving money. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud IoT Core?** I dislike about the Google Cloud IoT is the prices. The prices are not reasonable especially for small business owners and Entrepreneurs. You pay per second, which is how a cloud should work but it becomes pricey. You can get up to 79% off workloads that can be interrupted, like data mining and data processing but I wish it was 100%. **Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud IoT Core:** Try the free trial and I guarantee you will love it and will use it forever. High recommended to friends and coworkers. For someone who is newly interested in collecting data and showing how it can improve business and also show what may be hurting business, I think this is an amazing tool and I am hopeful I will get better at utilizing all its functions. Google has a way of combining tools that make my life a little easier. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud IoT Core?** I have no complaints with the product yet. I do wish that is had its own tutorial for newbies like myself to learn how to utilize the data in a more beneficial factor, but I guess that is what classes charge for. **Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud IoT Core:** I recommend that you take some data analytics courses if you have time for you to be able to know how to truly apply the data you have compiled and put it to good use. Remote control of sensors is, in my opinion, the biggest benefit that the system provides. You do not have to pay a monthly "rent" to upload large files. This is the biggest benefit. You only pay when you download the files. This payment method is the perfect solution for small businesses. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud IoT Core?** It is extremely difficult to adjust the settings. the sellers do not explain anything, and you have no one to turn to if you need help. The most they do is provide you with a link to a multi-page article with extremely difficult to understand text. You have two options: either hire an IT to set up for you, or you need to take a course at NASA to maybe set up your account by yourself. **Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud IoT Core:** Google urgently needs to make this service platform clearer and easier to use. It was necessary to call an IT specialist to get our account set up for what we needed. All instructions are extremely long and complex, in addition getting the necessary information is very difficult. Any help you ask to a salesperson the answers is always the same: "You have the explanation on this link ...", and when you access the link it is an extremely difficult 7-page article to be understood. **What problems is Google Cloud IoT Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** As you do not have to pay monthly (wonderful feature) it is the most in-demand option to make backup mirroring of our files. ### 29.
