Documentation is a little bit light but...that's in the context of Microsoft. We can consume data from many diverse data sources and send it wherever we want as long as there's a configured endpoint to consume it. We're also using IoT Hub as a bridge to send data from one part of a customer's environment to business intelligence endpoints in a customer's network.
