Google Analytics provides real-time data with a 30-minute window. I think this should be increased to 60 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class Analytics with Straightforward Tag Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is the best analytics tool for us, and we use it across all the sites in our company. The integration is also very straightforward: we just need to publish the tags and set up the event details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Sometimes we have to wait up to 24 hours to check the report, and we cannot add or filter by more than five columns. At times, we need to analyze the data and carefully use different column and row combinations to fetch the reports. As a new user, the ease of access feels a bit complicated. "Essential for Web Insights, Needs Better Custom Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I use Google Analytics to evaluate our website analytics and maximize our ROI. It's honestly one of the most important tools for our business. It provides full visibility of our web page in terms of views, time spent on page, and helps us understand where their attention is being directed and when they drop off. I love its ability to demystify our web presence and show areas of strength and improvement. Knowing as much about our customers, like geographic and demographic information, is so valuable and allows us to recalibrate and specifically target where necessary. The initial setup was brilliantly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Custom reports and I think they could integrate the search console for deeper insights and understanding. Google Analytics already integrates with the search console but deeper integration is needed to really extract the valuable data. Custom reports would allow for more robust information analysis. "Deep Insights, Slight Learning Curve"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I really like the depth of insight Google Analytics provides into website traffic and user behavior. It helps me understand where visitors are coming from and which pages they spend the most time on. I also appreciate the range of reporting features and the integration with other Google tools, which makes it very useful for analyzing overall performance.

For my retail company, it’s especially important to see which product pages users visit most often and where they spend the most time. That visibility helps me better understand user behavior and tailor ads accordingly, which in turn generates revenue for the company. The initial setup was fairly easy, particularly for basic website tracking, and it was quick to get up and running. Adding the tracking code through Google Tag Manager was also straightforward. What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

One thing that could be improved is the learning curve, especially with newer versions like GA4 where the interface and reports can be confusing. Specific metrics or building custom reports sometimes take extra time. Also, some reports feel less straightforward compared to earlier versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Strong Foundation for Understanding Website Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like most is that it gives us a clear, consolidated view of user behavior and traffic sources all in one place. I can quickly see where people are coming from, what they do on the site, and which pages or campaigns are performing best.

It’s also very useful for measuring the impact of our marketing efforts. When we launch a campaign, update a landing page, or drive traffic through ads or email, Google Analytics helps us confirm whether those changes actually lead to engagement or conversions, rather than just more visits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

What I dislike most is that it can feel a bit overwhelming, especially in GA4. Some reports aren’t as intuitive as they used to be, and finding the exact view or metric I need can take longer than it should.

I also wish certain insights were easier to surface without having to build custom reports or explorations first. The tool is powerful, but there’s a real learning curve, and it takes time to get comfortable and consistently navigate to what I’m looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Yet User-Friendly, with Seamless Website Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Incredibly complexed but with a easy to use interface which makes it very user friendly. Support it good, integrates with website seamlessly. Create custom reports with little training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Sometimes the amount of functions is slightly overwhelming, and there are a lot of ways you can get a little lost with it all. I feel I scratch the surface with its capabilities. Lots of key / basic functions are very easy to use, but it would be nice if they made some of the more complex aspects simpler to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customisable GA Reports That Help You Get More from Your Data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like the customisability of all the reports within GA that allow you to get the most out of the data you're capturing across websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Sometimes finding the right setting is buried beneath many layers of options, which can make navigating the interface challenging.

Sometimes the 'Unassigned' traffic channel grouping is quite annoying as Google struggles to classify where the traffic is coming from which can have a big impact on how we're reporting.

It would be cool to have Gemnini AI built into the platform so you can query results and analyse data with the help of AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Web Tracking & Optimization"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like the feature of Google Analytics, especially the tracking mechanism and the multiple layers of understanding it provides about my website. I appreciate how it gives clear information on user behavior through pages, bounce rate, and impressions, which is crucial for optimizing the website. The in-depth funnel helps in understanding page behavior, which I find important for aligning with customer needs. It's valuable that I can use and integrate Google Analytics with the Looker platform for easier reporting. The initial setup of Google Analytics was pretty clear and straightforward, making it understandable for anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Still the adoption of artificial intelligence features in Google Analytics are in the starting stage. I would still say that. That has to be more clear, so that we can get the insights without any second thoughts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deep Website Insights with Customizable Reports and Seamless Google Tool Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics gives deep insights into how users interact with a website. It helps track traffic sources, user behavior, conversions, and performance of pages in one place. I like how customizable the reports are and how easily it integrates with other Google tools like Search Console and Google Ads. Once set up properly, it becomes an essential daily tool for data-driven decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The learning curve, especially with GA4, can be challenging for new users. Some commonly used reports are not as straightforward as before, and certain data comparisons require extra configuration. Documentation exists, but clearer in-tool guidance would make it more beginner-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
