**What do you like best about Global Staffing Support?**

The team thought beyond their immediate scope. The search fix wasn't in the original brief – it came from someone paying close attention to how the system was actually behaving in context. That's the kind of contribution that's hard to hire for and harder to brief

If anything, we'd have welcomed the option to bring them in earlier in the scoping phase. By the time we engaged, some architectural decisions were already made. Having their input upstream would have been valuable

**Recommendations to others considering Global Staffing Support:**

We would recommend Global Staffing Support to companies that need to quickly extend their engineering team with strong, specialised expertise, especially for AI and complex integration projects. They are a good fit when timelines are tight, and there isn’t time for a full hiring cycle, but high-level technical capability is still required from day one

**What problems is Global Staffing Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our clients – a manufacturer operating a large B2B catalog on Adobe Commerce – wanted to replace their existing keyword search with an AI-powered product discovery layer. The catalog had tens of thousands of SKUs with complex technical attributes, and their buyers were struggling to find the right products efficiently. A significant share of searches either returned irrelevant results or ended with the buyer contacting an account manager for help.
 
The project had a fixed timeline and a clear delivery milestone. We had the commerce and integration side covered internally, but the AI engineering scope – hybrid retrieval, embedding-based search, LLM integration – required a level of specialisation we couldn't staff quickly enough from within. We needed a partner who could embed into our team, work within our delivery process, and take ownership of the AI layer end-to-end. Hiring independently would have taken months we didn't have.

Global Staffing Support placed four people with us: an AI engineer to lead the retrieval architecture and LLM integration, a backend engineer to handle the async pipeline and Adobe Commerce API layer, a QA engineer to own the acceptance criteria and evaluation framework for AI outputs, and a PM to coordinate between our internal team and theirs and keep delivery on track.
