## Global App Testing Reviews
  ### 1. Key player in QA for web and mobile apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene K. | Data engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Global App testing provides a collection of tools to make ongoing QA tasks more simple. Using the API or web tools helped to setup tests very quickly across the Application.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

The Service offers three different pricing plans called Base, Localized and Enterprise, but no indication of how much the plans will be - a calculator would have been helpful.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up tests for QA environments without the need for extensive code additions + frameworks. Building the single-source-of truth for testing on mobile and web apps.

  ### 2. Happy Customer using this service for several years on several projects.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joaquin B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

I love the ease of running Exploratory Tests, but I also love the power of test cases. Both together create a perfect testing platform.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

It takes time to set up the Test Cases, but once they are set up, they are easy to run and extremely powerful for regression testing.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve the problem if a buggy app. They also find bugs that we can't find internally and their steps for recreating the issues they found are very useful.

  ### 3. Happy client

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lia K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Very professional and responsive, making quick changes to adapt to how we work

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Not sure this solution is the right one for our business

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using them as a QA department, they find lots of issues and their response time is very fast and fits our quick pace. .

  ### 4. Very efficient service with great feedback loops.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Very efficient service from setting up the account, being guided through the process to getting the tests up and running. The test turnaround fits into our process and the feedback loop regarding which issues we consider high priority works well to optimise the value we get from the service

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

The international distribution of the testers can mean that some of the issues reported can be affected by the locality of the tester which we do not see in practice as our real customers aren't in these areas. To get users in a specific region is an extra cost.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

GAT are happy to discuss your requirements and recommend an approach that fits your needs.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global App Testing help us run general regression tests and also help deep-diving into specific features that ensure our customers enjoy a quality user experience.

  ### 5. Worked with GAT on a complex testing project. Excellent team and process.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Very fast and efficient turnarounds. Excellent levels of detail on any known issues, with test gradings and severities, identified.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Can't really fault anything. Very sporadically some of the reproduction steps were hard to follow

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There was a gap in our project structure around testing, so GAT helped us to identify this and support the project, which had a small headcount.

  ### 6. Incredibly thorough and effective QA, delivered really fast.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David E. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

After I submit a test job, I get complete and thorough results back in only about 24 hours.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

I'm not a huge fan of the billing model, which sometimes commits me to spending that I don't use.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm testing the functionality of my app and the quality of my localizations. Some of the bugs GAT found would have turned into crashes in the hands of users, which we want to avoid at all costs.

  ### 7. Invaluable resources for QA testing product features.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Global App Testing provides a simple and intuitive way to validate the performance of our recently released products and features. Creating test cases is straight forward, and once created you can select all cases related to your new feature and run them at once. I've built usage of GAT into our code release procedures and it's allowed us to either quickly identify issues or rest assured that our code is working as intended.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

The initial set up of your test cases is simple and straight forward, but it can be tedious. That said, once completed, the test cases can be used and reused without any additional effort.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The challenge we face as a small startup is that we don't have a dedicated QA team. By using GAT, a single member of the team can initiate the running of our test cases with a few clicks. Shortly after we have written and video documentation of which features are need our attention. We can easily export that documentation to JIRA as engineering tickets for prioritization and resolution.

  ### 8. 3.5 years+ with Global App Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** B. Nick P. | Pledger, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Overall we’ve had a very positive experience with one or two minor teething issues which were resolved quickly. Our product has evolved over time and so there has been a lot of changes with the way we work with GAT - overall the product is robust and very adaptable. Other major benefits for us are:

- Real world test-execution (we no longer use device farms)

- Managing tests / test case management in one place

- Speeding up time we spend on QA internally (we use a mixing manual and automation tests)

- Very response and open customer support

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

More influence on the product roadmap - there are features we want but understand they may be unique to us.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

We should have invested more time upfront integrating and educating the rest of our internal team. We eventually did this with the help of the GAT customer success team and it’s made the difference.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Global App Testing as an indicator of if we should release or spend more time debugging.

  ### 9. Timely and reliable crowd-based tests with highly capable PMs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond T. | Localization Quality Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

I like how the PM team manages my test requests even those that are somewhat demanding in terms of timelines. They're fast to coordinate and execute tests regardless if it's a simple or complex request. Overall, I'd say that establishing strong customer relationships is what makes working with them such a delightful experience.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

I wish that we'd be able to test within challenging countries in the future (such as Iran, etc). Not GAT's fault since I think this is more of a limitation on the available payment systems on those countries.

There's also an opportunity in terms of the technology behind how JIRA bugs are managed, there's been a few instances where duplication errors happen during export

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

Consider Global App Testing if you need to extend your QA's reach on a global scale.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with their team to execute localised tests and linguistic QAs. On-demand crowd testing makes it cost-efficient than hiring an actual native-speaking resource within certain countries

I also had the chance to work with different Localisation QA providers in the past and I'd say that the subscription costs associated with the service is fair and reasonable.

  ### 10. GAT WithU Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

GAT are super pro-active in their approach, Harriet has helped us immensely throughout the process and we have never had to wait longer than 48 hours for our test results.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Sometimes we have duplicate bugs raised, but very rarely!

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

Brilliant company if you do not have a full test team in-house or if you need quick turnarounds for testing on a big scale

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Device coverage - We don't have the budget to purchase all the devices we offer support to, so GAT is invaluable in giving us reassurance that we have tested across all platforms.

  ### 11. Wonderful customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

Quick and accurate testing support. Remarkable service and support team.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Nothing at all. Global App Testing goes out of their way to help tailor their support to your needs and to make the experience as easy as possible.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

Use with confidence.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live user testing and feedback provides us with an additional layer of insight before we release to the general public. This frees up internal staff and gives us the opportunity to remedy any critical issues prior to release.

  ### 12. Good investment for mobile app testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick T. | Techstars Mentor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

We run all our exploratory tests via Global App Testing mainly to increase capacity from our internal teams and for the device/OS/network coverage we get from testing on real devices. The bug reports we get are consistent and are generally good quality - so our teams can debug relatively quickly. Test case execution turnaround time varies on iOS and Android apps but it’s generally between 30min-1hr - which is good as we have multiple testers execute the same test cases on a variety of devices.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Nothing comes to mind immediately - we are happy with the product. Better user management if I had to pick something.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

It’s a good investment once you integrate and get in a rhythm. Leverage their support teams during onboarding.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased capacity in the team resulting in postponed headcount. Coverage threw up a few issues we would have never found internally. Giving confidence to the eng team around the way we test so they can concentrate on fixing issues and developing features.

  ### 13. Great crowdtesting service, especially for small projects or high risk topics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Baptiste V. | QA Release Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

- when we deliver a build, there is decent response time if any blocker issue happens, so that we can work on another delivery quickly,
- there is always someone for GAT available for questions on chat or available to receive a delivery 24/7,
- GAT team is highly open to suggestions for processes or deliveries,
- GAT pricing is similar to competitors we talked to, but they offer better and wider services,
- videos linked to issues are the best tool to reproduce bugs.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

- the test case execution credits are often waste, because documenting our activities is often too costly on our side,
- even with competitive pricing, the analysis of GAT feedbacks on our end can make this activity too costly for the benefits if used too frequently. This is likely caused by the nature of our industry, where the product quality level is not as high as in other companies like finance,
- some analysis infos might be missing, especially for users with bad network.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

Use Global App Testing if:
- you need localization tests in key countries,
- a safety nest before critical release,
- you have a lot of testing documentation but a lack of resources to execute the tests.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- we give top management a better feeling of security than only with internal QA,
- we garantee safer releases for small projects with low internal QA resources,
- we sometimes get critical feedbacks, but not on every cycle (but this is also a good sign of the quality of our apps),
- we successfully opened our services on local markets with no knowledge of the langage thanks to a localized exploratory test cyle.

  ### 14. Great test coverage + weekend tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

- We’ve increased our test coverage which has allowed us to find bugs we couldn’t replicate with our engineering or QA teams.

- We sometimes launch exploratory tests over the weekend which saves us time.

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Overall a very positive experience and it fulfills the function we use it for. In an ideal world we’d like to spend more time doing analysis on the bugs to see trends.

**Recommendations to others considering Global App Testing:**

We create new test cases from ‘steps to reproduce’ on all critical exploratory test bugs - it’s taken time but we’ve basically built out a whole test suite of critical issues that we should always run with every release.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our iOS and Android app ratings used to suffer as we couldn’t internally replicate bugs. We’ve increased our test coverage which has found bugs we couldn’t replicate in-house.

  ### 15. Robust platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

You can write tests in plain English

Easy to launch tests

Test cases return in 20-30min

Exploratory tests return over 24 hours - critical issues can be flagged up earlier

Detailed bug reports with videos and steps to reproduce

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Maintaining tests requires time

More integrations

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’d recommend allocating one person on your team who is responsible for launching/maintaining tests which has worked well for us. Buying the software doesn’t mean your QA challenges disappear.

We didn’t hire an additional QA and put the budget towards Global App Testing which has increased our teams productivity.

  ### 16. Debugging faster with detailed bug reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Global App Testing?**

We’ve alternated through a few solutions and ended up sticking with Global App Testing. Overall we found the bug reports are consistent and detailed enough for us to quickly debug issues.

Speed of turnaround has impacted our release velocity. We saw the difference after 2 months

**What do you dislike about Global App Testing?**

Nothing off the top of my head, impressed by the product so far.

**What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our engineering teams have wasted time in the past because we couldn’t replicate issues. Saving engineering time is our highest priority
