To have the possibility to access and read tons of books for a single yearly tariff. As a freelance consultant and post-grade course instructor, I need to be updated and be able to revisit texts (also the new editions if they existed). Just for the cost of purchasing a couple of them (in some cases with that money you can afford even just only one...). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I came to prefer reading e-books compared to paper ones, and also got accustomed to the advantages of them: synchronizing where you left reading among devices, dictionary/word translation, etc., adjusting fonts, etc. Perlego has some functionalities and lacks others, and the basic ones which are present, are too basic or could be improved.
Addition: I came again to edit the review (after updating my tablet). Previous rate: 8. Edited rate: 5. Although I keep my initial review comments, I now add that the reading experience is not like with e-books. Reading with Kindle or epub readers, the text is there. With Perlego, becomes annoying to have to wait each time you open a book until the text appears (like old-time internet browsing with modems), page advancing is not smooth and many times I lost the page I was reading.
