You can easily search the entry history to find old records. It reminds you if you are missing data in the ticket entry. **What do you dislike about Genesis Advantage?** I have personally had this system crash on me 4 time. It freezes up and is unusable in that account for the rest of the day. It is cleared up by the next day, however. I wish there was an easier way to locate inventory by searching the item code rather than scrolling through the list of items. **Recommendations to others considering Genesis Advantage:** Definitely talk to support about the future tech advancements in fixing the problem I've experienced of the system freezing. But, otherwise, test it out by using a trial or something of the sort in order to make sure its right for you. **What problems is Genesis Advantage solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have seen the benefits of knowing what inventory is left in stock across our 5 business locations so that we can collaborate with those locations to get the customer what he/she wants even faster. I have enjoyed being able to see the commission and margin rates immediately after I enter the ticket into the system. ### 2. There really is not much to say about the product that is positive, but the system does keep track of past customers very well. Many times it will find a customer when the hard copy of their receipt has gone missing. Also able to keep track of the older transactions from over ten years ago. So when someone comes in and asks to buy the same desk or table that was bought years back, we are able to help them with that. When using the daily reports, the system is very easy to read. It keeps track of each type of sale, and how much was spent by the company to make that sale. **What do you dislike about Genesis Advantage?** The inventory doesn't usually load for certain stores. Trouble with errors when entering tickets. The system is slower than any other I've ever worked with. It has issues with freezing up when you go too fast (ie: try and type a search for an item in inventory). GA has many problems with keeping the stocking correct in each store, even losing some items entirely out of the system and forcing the management to reenter the items. **Recommendations to others considering Genesis Advantage:** At the very least look at other options. While it is a decent product, there are better options out there. **What problems is Genesis Advantage solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problems that Genesis Advantage solves is in the inventory department, but it does not do a smooth job of this. A software is only as good as the people using it, but this product has a tendency to create errors where others would not. Wish that this product had a more streamlined connection with the card reader. ### 3.
