From my point of view as a system administrator, I am more than happy not to have to think about backups, database optimization, and everything else. Since we switched to the SAAS model, everything has been significantly better.

Sometimes it happens that resource scaling is slower than it should be. It would be easier if we could choose and purchase our own resources on SAAS..

Helps out with product management, and customer management. It offers a comprehensive platform that covers everything from Point of Sale (POS) terminals to head office operations, including store management, inventory, merchandising, and tracking reports we need for the end of the month.

I would say that there is a steep learning curve and it is not very beginner friendly. Training can take time and or trial/error. Getting everything customized isnt quick

What I like most about LS is the truly unified commerce experience. Having the POS, back-office financials, and inventory management all living within the same Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment is a game changer.

The main downside is the step learning curve. Because it is so featurerich and sits on top of Business Central, it can be overwhelming for new users who aren't familiar with the Microsoft ecosystem

The biggest problem LS Retail solved for us was the fragmentation of our data. Before, our inventory POS, and accounting were all in separate silos making it nearly impossible to get an accurate view of our daily performance without hours of manual spreadsheet work

I really like the way LS Retail is designed and the possibilities it offers. I value the extensive customization options, which allow for easy design of new panels and menus, perfectly adapting to the unique characteristics of my business. I also appreciate the online support and well-prepared partners, which greatly facilitate the adoption of the technology. Additionally, it is an affordable product that provides a lot of functionality and adaptability, backed by the powerful technology of Microsoft.

I find that the process of cash register closing and sales declaration at the end of the day in LS Retail is quite rigid. I would like this aspect to be improved so that the user could have the flexibility to choose between a direct accounting of the cash register closing or making the declaration through sales invoices.

Promotions, Discounts, Different Levels of pricing.

**What do you dislike about LS Retail?**

Occassional bugs such as Barcode not reading, Items set to "Hide" appearing, item search by item code not working. Also on Business Central, we've noticed that the "Inventory by Location" and "Item Availability by Location" are 2 different tables. Also sometimes it's inconvenient that the RETAIL ITEMS and ITEM List on Business Central are different. For example, if I want to enable a feature such as "Prevent Negative Inventory", that can only be done on "ITEMS" of Business Central. But if I wanted to check "Item Availability by Location", that needs to be done on RETAIL ITEM LIST of LS Central.

I subscribed to Mobile POS. When using it on an iPad browser, using the native keyboard of iOS doesn't work. User has to use the on-screen keyboard made using the GUI of LS. This was very inconvenient. Hence we were not able to use Mobile POS at all in our organization after having paid for 4 or 5 licenses.

Test Mobile POS before considering implementing it. All the rest works well.

Now I have a centralized POS system across 7-8 oulets. Pricing, promotion, inventory are centrally managed.

The Sales pitch to convince the business was great. With all the features explained and how it will be integrated with SAP B1 was what we opted for.

The execution from the software partner is a challenge and quickly turns into a nightmare. The lack of understanding. The lack of SAP B1 integration, the entire project is over a year old and we still do not see a light at the end of the tunnel

It still needs more Hardgoods retailer features.  LS Pay was unreliable, errors / open multiple tabs in browsers, lost customers not having integrated processing.  LS Pay integration partner Verifone inconsistent with ordering and the technical solution and support. We had to write our own.

We used LS Nav in revamping our retail frameworks. Its strong design, which is organized over the ERP, makes it powerful for our accounting and operations team to achieve appropriate and efficient control centrally. It has effectively accelerated our retail capability. It also has an excellent structure so you can use your POS even when no network connection is available. With LS NAV, we achieved data accuracy, efficient flow of information from terminals to back-office and vice versa. Achieved greater customer satisfaction in terms of providing them with the most accurate information about products.

Make sure you have a good local partner. It is a complex application to configure, but it is very powerful once it is set up. My ease of use/setup/admin scores are the way that they are because the system could not be simplified without trading the ability to handle complex retail setups.

I used LS NAV in the Retail and was part of the implementation process. It is easy to lean and has a very intuitive user interface that most people get familiar with ver y quickly. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is very intuitive ERP software. It fits to your needs so you can use it and adapt it to the growth of your company.  Really easy to use. If you know how to use Microsoft Word or Outlook, you will know how to work with it.

If you customize too much Microsoft Dynamics NAV you can have problems down the line. Another disadvantage are the frequent updates. Since you're not able to install them for yourself, you need to hire a consulting company to do it for you.

All the reports it provides is a plus. We save a lot of time, for Microsoft Dynamics NAV is intuitive and, most important, a totally reliable ERP that allow us to conquer more available time to other tasks.

Working in the showroom I was able to use LS Nav for helping find specific sizes and styles of clothing for our vendors.It helped out A LOT when it came to finding what vendors would purchase in the past, and for us to easily gather the products up without trying to dig through paperwork!

There always will be an error here and there with technology, but I haven't really found anything that made me dislike the software.

I like the best flexibility and by that I mean that it is possible to do almost anything whatever you need, either by configuration or some development. Since this is based on Microsoft NAV it has all NAV benefits and full NAV "backend".

It's not a big deal, but eventhough I am a technical guy, at the beginning  it was not easy to understand how this is integrated with the standard NAV.  I still don't like the debugging POS and all those hard-coded things and the fact that I don't see the full source code.

Standard retail processes but also warehouse processes are supported by some back office LSR functionalities.

Mostly we do not have bad experiences, we cooperate with the Principal and solve all the problems. Sometimes is problem with the price that is occasionally too high due to local competition.
