The platform is really easy to learn and offers an intuitive experience, making it accessible for beginners venturing into game creation. I appreciate that it leverages an event-based logic system, allowing actions to be easily defined and executed with simple key presses, which enhances its ease of use. The initial setup of GDevelop feels intuitive, and the documentation provided is very good, enabling users to start releasing their projects quite readily. For new game developers, GDevelop offers a solid framework to begin their journey, and I would rate my recommendation for it quite high. **What do you dislike about GDevelop?** I find that while GDevelop offers the ability to incorporate actual coding through JavaScript, the feature is not well-documented. As a developer who is familiar with coding, I attempted to utilize this feature to dive deeper into coding within the platform, but the lack of proper documentation was a significant hurdle. Although I am a software engineer, I don't have experience in building games. It was a surprisingly fun experience while making games with GDevelop. GDevelop also provide sa lot of useful tutorials to help me how to use their platform to build games. Another thing I love is their app can be launched on different OS including Linux. **What do you dislike about GDevelop?** I cannot think of anything I don't like for now. If I have to pick up one thing, I'd say GDevelop has a lot of limitations on 3D stuff, and can't do complex games.
