What do you like best about Formstack Forms?

User friendly layout to create a blank form

Themes are easy to customize

What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?

Cloning forms is not a great feature. It often changes some of the fields and ends up making more work than it does to help.

The new updates no longer allowes my CSS to work for changing the width of my forms. This is super disappointing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Formstack Forms?

What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?

We struggle with Formstack not being School specific, and having to pay extra for the level of support we require. While we so appreciate the open ended-ness and advanced features, schools have limited staff, and especially limited skill sets, so having access to one on one customer support would be a game changer for us at schools. What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

Trying to push a school into 2023 in terms of digital maturity, we are about 5-10 years behind, but starting to make progress. Our consumer base (parents and students) has adapted to an ever changing digital society, and they expect the level of digitally maturity they experience in their daily lives to translate to us (a school). We have been working for the last two years to convert all paper forms, event registrations, and payments to digital. Formstack provides the avenue we need to meet our consumer expectations. Along with this, on the back-end we are trying to collect, clean, and use our data more productively- Formstack has made it easier to collect, share and track this data. "Simplifies Data Collection"

What do you like best about Formstack Forms?

Formstack makes creating forms and surveys extremely easy, whether to collect robust data for research or to get quick RSVPs for an event. I even use Formstack as a teacher--I will create a form that requires students to submit a relevant reflection, link the Formstack to a QR code that students can quickly use, and then display student responses for in-class discussion. Formstack is particularly helpful because it allows for file submission. I also like that I can easily share the live link, without worrying about complex distribution via email. Finally, I like that I can download all response data as a CSV. I use Formstack to gather some sort of data almost every week, and I like that I can keep track of my long list of ongoing forms! What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?

I wish I could find a way to download submitted files in bulk--it seems I have to download them one-by-one, unless I'm missing something. It would also be nice to be able to apply custom themes to a form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

I previously did not have a clear way to accept responses that included questionnaires answers as well as file submission. People applying for programs I facilitate would have to submit a form, and then email separate documents. This led to the possibility that I wouldn't receive the email, or I might accidentally lose the documents, or pair the wrong documents with the wrong forms. I also found other similar products were more complicated and required more time for me to create and distribute a form. Formstack has always been my go-to platform for creating forms at any company I've worked at. It is the most user-friendly and intuitive service I've ever tried. I can accomplish anything with its capabilities: surveys, quizzes, custom styling, and more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We don't even bother using the forms feature in our CMS. Formstack does it all. We use it to capture lead data from giveaways, surveys, and best of all we use it for quizzes in our "Learn & Earn" program which helps our loyalty members learn about our products and engage with our website. "Easy to Use Data Collection Tool"

What do you like best about Formstack Forms?

I do a lot of online order forms for multiple groups to attend/purchase tickets for baseball games, and Formstack provides a quick and easy way for me to collect data from customers while also giving group leaders a simple link to share with their members, which has led to increased attendance from various groups. With formstack, there are multiple functions that can be utilized to customize the form based on data needed, whether or not there is a payment required, as well as custom rules for BOGO programs or "push/pull" campaigns with free tickets.

The forms are also easily embedded in websites, allowing us to utilize formstack for our various seasonal programs , group ticket info requests and special events, such as our charity golf tournament.

All-in, Formstack is a quick and easy way to collect data, sell tickets/products and create a user friendly environment for your clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?

For some reason, there is no way to recover a forgotten/lost encryption password. I understand protecting user data, but some of these passwords were set by previous employees who no longer work for my company, and I am unable to access order forms that have been submitted without the password, and can't reset the password without it deleting every submission. What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

Right now, Formstack is creating more problems than it is solving. What used to be a simple way to collect information and orders for event tickets and merchandise is now a headache of seeing dozens if not hundreds of orders coming in that are inaccessible due to an unrecoverable encryption password that was set by a previous employee. Formstack's online support gave me a "too bad, we can't do anything" response when I asked how to recover and/or reset the password, leaving literally tens of thousands of dollars in sales lost to the ether. "Bad experience with Formstack"

What do you like best about Formstack Forms?

Nothing, for real. Others form builder provide the same features with more reasonable price and expected result, while Formstack is expensive and giving me a bad experience on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?

Had a bad day with feature disable dates past on input date. What I expected is disable past dates so user can only choose the incoming dates, but what Formstack did is disable FUTURE dates. And why the hell that I need to select a specific date to disable past dates, but not do like other form builder allow us to do like inputing `Today` keyword in the field to disable the past dates including today? Is there a way to submit portions of a form? For instance - when one section is complete, could that section be submitted and then remaining sections be marked as resume later?
